The other day, I visited the famous McDonald's Naruhara store in Hachioji, located a 30-minute walk from JR Chuo Line Nishi-Hachioji Station. This McDonald's store is known as the "Shane Mack 12 of the fast-food world" and it lives up to its reputation. Shane Mack 12, also known as Shane Lee Mack, is a former baseball player from Los Angeles, California. He played in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and won a silver medal. After playing in the MLB, he joined the Yomiuri Giants in Japan in 1995. Despite some criticism, he showed great skills as a player, especially as a leadoff hitter and later as a cleanup batter. He impressed fans with his speed and defensive plays, although he had a weak arm. After two years with the Giants, he moved on to play for other MLB teams before retiring in 1999. The McDonald's Naruhara store is a favorite spot for families, and I had a great experience enjoying a Happy Meal with Chicken McNuggets. It's a place where families can come together and enjoy a meal, just like Shane Mack 12 did with his own family.

Today is my day off from work. Lately, I have been going to Hachioji early in the morning for various reasons. After taking care of my errands, I decided to do some food log activities. I visited this place that I haven't been to before. It's located next to the Gusto I went to last week. I ordered the Bacon Egg McMuffin set from the breakfast menu. For my drink, I upgraded to a large iced coffee for an additional 20 yen. The customers included a father and daughter, a male couple, a father and son, and so on. The male couple, in particular, sat separately at a four-person table, which I found a bit rude. Oh, as for the taste, it was the usual McDonald's quality and very delicious.

I often choose to go to McDonald's cafe because it's close by and I like the interior. It's convenient when I don't have much money. Having one nearby is also helpful. My favorite menu items are the Chicken Tatsuta and Teriyaki Burger. The best fries are the ones that are freshly fried.

I was debating whether to go buy some warm freshly baked bread or just go to McDonald's in the end. McDonald's in the morning is definitely delicious! With McDonald's breakfast, you can get a set meal or combo for under 500 yen. Especially the Sausage Muffin is only 100 yen. It's cheaper than bread from the convenience store. This time, I used the drive-thru service. The store is located in the suburbs, so the parking lot is spacious and the interior was renovated a few years ago, so it looks clean and neat. For the kids, I got the Sausage Egg Muffin set using a coupon, which was originally 450 yen but I got it for 350 yen with a medium-sized drink and hash brown included. Since I wasn't sure what time I would wake up, I asked for no ice in the drink. I found out that without ice, you get a lot more drink. This is a great tip! When I brought back the McDonald's breakfast, my kids woke up immediately and ate it all up! As for the Sausage Muffin, the muffin was a bit firm and the sausage had a strong spice flavor. Some people might not like it. You won't get any vegetables, but it's a good deal.

About 30 minutes by Nishi Tokyo Bus from Hachioji Station. Located within walking distance of the famous Hagi spot "Chofukuji", this McDonald's is situated along a prefectural road in Naruhara-cho. It is a roadside store along a busy road with a drive-thru option. The interior is fairly spacious with many table seats, and even on weekend afternoons, there are quite a few customers. There are seats with blinds and a sunroof-like feature, making it suitable for a cafe-like experience. The store offers a limited edition cream soda, which is quite rare. The Cream Soda costs 280 yen and is made with melon soda from Fanta, topped with soft serve ice cream. It comes with a lid for easy takeout, but they also provide it with a lid for dine-in customers. As expected, it has a refreshing yet sweet taste that is perfect for the summer. It is convenient and easily accessible for those traveling by car.

I went to a McDonald's in Hachioji before (*´ω｀*). McDonald's is known for its fast service and great value for money. This time, I tried the Bacon Lettuce Burger, and I really like the unique pepper flavor in the sauce. The outdoor seating area in front of the store is nice, especially in warm weather (*^。^*).

There is a beautiful terrace space with well-maintained plants in front of the restaurant, where you can enjoy your meal while looking out through the glass from inside. The parking lot is spacious and easy to use. In the evening, the area is lively with high school students from the neighborhood, but during other times, you can enjoy a quiet atmosphere. The French fries here are just right in terms of crispiness and saltiness.

I felt like eating McDonald's cheeseburger, so I visited the McDonald's on Akigawakaido in Hachioji and used the drive-thru. This time, I ordered only the cheeseburger for ¥130. When I placed my order, the cheeseburger was prepared and handed to me right away. The cheeseburger was a hamburger with just one slice of cheese sandwiched in it. The bun contained chopped onions, pickles, and a slice of cheese. The cheese had melted slightly from the heat of the patty and blended well. It was not stretchy cheese, but easy to bite into, making it easy to eat even while driving without worrying about dropping it. It's a cheap cheeseburger, so it's not incredibly delicious, but it had a quality that exceeded its price and was simply tasty. Thank you for the meal.
