GINZA SIX's Eataly is a complex of three restaurants. The wine bar has many high chairs at the counter, the pizzeria has the same menu as the others, and the grill has a slightly higher price with unique Ginza-only dishes. There is also a small cafeteria in the front. This time, I wanted to have a quick early dinner, so I went to the pizzeria. The food was delicious, with authentic Italian flavors. They also had Italian alcoholic drinks like Aperol, which were enjoyable. The service was not overly attentive, but it was sufficient. If you think of it as a casual Italian eatery, taking into account the convenience of the location, it was very satisfying.

I have used the same Eataly's LA GRIGLIA before (this time sitting by the window) and had an early dinner at the dining bar in the center of the floor. It operates on a one drink, one order system. As they were celebrating their 2nd anniversary, they introduced a special menu, and I tried the burrata with truffle and a half & half of fresh tomato. The pizza these days is really delicious, with the crust being especially tasty. They were having a Franciacorta drink promotion, so I decided to go for that without hesitation. The drink menu also has options that women would enjoy. For my second drink, I had the fruit cocktail of the day. It was made with pineapple and liquor, but it was too sweet for my taste and made me crave coffee. I feel like it's easier to get a seat at this Eataly compared to the other shops inside.

A stylish and casual place in the SIX Eataly where you can enjoy a quick drink and snacks. Perfect for happy hour or appetizers! At the entrance, you can choose between different sections, each offering different menus and grades. This time, we opted for the most casual option, LA PIAZZETTA, which offers counter or high table seating. It's a relatively affordable option for enjoying the Eataly experience conveniently.
I visited with a friend during an in-between time, not quite lunch or dinner, just to catch up. We ordered the following dishes:
- Black Wagyu Taliata for 980 yen: A delicious and authentic taliata dish at a reasonable price.
- Seafood Fritto Misto for 580 yen: Mainly shrimp in this seafood dish.
- Roasted Potatoes for 480 yen: A good snack if you're a bit hungry.
The bright atmosphere at the bar counter and the quality yet affordable dishes made our experience enjoyable. I don't recall there being a cover charge. They offer more snacks compared to the wine bar, making it a great place for chatting over drinks. They are open every day, making it convenient regardless of the day or time. Overall, a great dining experience at LA PIAZZETTA in GINZA SIX Eataly.

As I was going through my iPhone camera roll, I realized that I have a lot of food and drink photos from restaurants that I haven't written about yet! So, this time, I'd like to introduce a cozy Italian bar located in GINZASIX that I visited after work in February. GINZASIX is a relatively new commercial building in the Ginza area, and there have been quite a few changes in tenants over the past year or two. The only places that have remained the same since my last blog post are JOTAROSAITOCAFE and ISHIYAGINZA. The place I visited this time is an Italian bar called "LAPIAZZETTA" located within the flagship store of EATALY in GINZASIX. It opened on the 6th floor as part of a major tenant change last summer. Although I was aware of its existence, I hadn't had the chance to visit until this day. I was in the mood for some light food and drinks, so I remembered this place in Ginza and decided to check it out. When I asked if I could use the bar area, the receptionist guided me to "LAPIAZZETTA." I was seated at a round high table, and we started with a toast with white wine. I can't remember the exact names of the dishes, but we ordered calamari, pickles, melba toast with some kind of anchovy-based spread. The portion size was just right, allowing us to easily try multiple dishes or finish them alone without feeling overwhelmed. We also decided to try a half-sized pizza called "Diavola" which had a slightly spicy kick to it. The wine selection was extensive, and they also had a variety of grappa, mimosas, bellinis, and other cocktails to pair with the food. The abundance of seating and drink options made it a comfortable place to enjoy drinks and snacks before or after shopping or watching a play in the Ginza area. I look forward to using this cozy spot as a choice for unwinding with friends in the future.

At Ginza Six's Eatries, there are "LA GRIGLIA", "LA PASTA e LA PIZZA", "LA PIAZZETTA", and a cafe. Except for the cafe, you can enjoy pizza and pasta in any of the restaurants. "LA GRIGLIA" offers grilled dishes and has private rooms at the back with clear partitions. "LA PASTA e LA PIZZA" and "LA PIAZZETTA" share many items like pasta and pizza, but "LA PIAZZETTA" is more casual with a variety of individual dishes available. You can even order a single slice of pizza here. If you want to try different things, it's a good choice. You can also order a whole Margherita pizza with customizable thickness. The pizza, while not too thin, was not as thick as expected, which was a bit disappointing. The taste, however, was good. "LA PIAZZETTA" has high chairs, so if you prefer regular seating, "LA PASTA e LA PIZZA" might be a better option.

Ginza's lunchtime is always bustling. I was able to get in after a short wait, so I chose this place! Ended up drinking from noon! The pizza was big and satisfying. Thank you for the meal!
