Urban-type stores, I wonder if this is what they're like... The prices at Hamazushi in Kichijoji seem to be higher by 10 yen or so compared to other locations. However, like other stores, I was able to use both the 50 yen receipt survey coupon and the free Aosa miso soup coupon from the SmartNews app. Perhaps because it's relatively new, the interior of the store is white and clean. The single counter seats have a gap between them where a hot water dispenser is placed, rather than having one shared between seats. Spoons and forks are also stored in drawers. The containers for soy sauce are also vertically shaped, giving a sleek look. However, the taste was lacking in the cheese seared dish (you can see in the photo that it didn't melt properly). With each dish being pricier than other locations, I find myself expecting higher quality. There is no free Wi-Fi in the store, and even the mobile connection inside is slow. I thought it might be because of being underground, but as soon as I stepped outside, I could use free Wi-Fi (Wi2) even on the underground 1st floor.

Located in Tokyo, Kichijoji. On Saturday at 18:20, there was a wait for 5 groups. We were seated at 18:55. The speakers calling out names while waiting were quite loud. The menu included large-sized firefly squid from Toyama Bay for 170 yen, tuna for 110 yen, yellowtail for 140 yen, corn tuna tataki, battleship sushi with large-sized seared silver salmon, roast beef with garlic sauce, raw squid, salmon, seared toro (fatty tuna), toro salmon with cheese, live-caught red sea bream, totaling 14 plates for 1,925 yen. The portions of both the toppings and rice were small, so I ended up eating too much (laughs). Well, the taste was decent overall. The good thing about Hamazushi is the wide variety of choices and the fact that there are hardly any items that seem like they were just thawed out. The service is fast, sometimes the order placed on the tablet arrives in seconds. Thank you for the meal.

Recently, a Hamazushi restaurant opened on the basement floor of the Copis building near Kichijoji Station. I had been wanting to go but my husband, who loves conveyor belt sushi, and I often end up having dinner at home, so I couldn't go. So, I decided to go alone for lunch. It was a weekday, so I didn't have to wait and sat at the counter. Since I had a late breakfast, I had one medium fatty tuna, one large cut bonito from Kyushu, squid from Miyazaki Prefecture, clams, and miso soup with seaweed. They had seasonal specials and regular nigiri sushi. The squid was more chewy than I expected. Kichijoji has become a paradise for conveyor belt sushi. Casual sushi dining is so nice.

I decided to go to "Uobei" in Kichijoji the day before, and arrived right at the opening time of 10 o'clock. However, I realized that the rotation time was actually at 10:30, which frustrated me. I was unsure of what to do, but then I remembered that a "Hamazushi" had opened in the basement of Copis. I was the first customer there. I chose my seat at the counter or table using the ticket machine, and then headed to my assigned seat number. I ordered using a tablet and enjoyed as much as I wanted. However, I felt that Uobei was tastier than Hamazushi. Thank you for the meal.

On April 21, 2023 (Friday), the major sushi chain "Hama Sushi" opened in Copis Kichijoji, just a 3-minute walk from Kichijoji Station! The location is in the basement 1st floor of Building A in Copis Kichijoji's restaurant area, across from Capricciosa and Benitora. It's the former site of "Shizenha Viking Warabe," which closed in April 2020. They have eliminated the traditional revolving lane and introduced a system where the items ordered via touch panel are delivered directly on a "straight lane." At "Hama Sushi Copis Kichijoji," they have the "straight lane"! With a fully order-based system through tablet operation, you can order over 80 types of sushi! As for the prices at Hama Sushi, including the Copis Kichijoji store, the urban stores have a price of 110 yen per plate (121 yen including tax)! Among the sushi chains in the Kichijoji area, it is the second cheapest after the 120 yen per plate at "Uobei Kichijoji store," making it the second cheapest in the Kichijoji area! However, with just a 1 yen difference after tax, I personally feel it's almost the same, so it can be considered tied for first place. Please note that this is the price for the cheapest plate, and not all plates are priced the same! The operating hours for "Hama Sushi Copis Kichijoji" are 11:00-22:00 on weekdays and 10:00-22:00 on weekends and holidays. * Last entry 30 minutes before closing * Last order 15 minutes before closing (During the pre-opening period from April 21 (Friday) to May 4 (Thursday), the store closes at 21:30) It's great that they are open until late at night! Please try the delicious and affordable "Hama Sushi Copis Kichijoji"! Thank you for your support of Kichijoji gourmet information "Kichiguru"!
