I'm hungry... I want to eat sushi. You can go to this restaurant alone and feel safe. If you sit at the counter, you'll be served quickly. On this day, the goal was the limited-time "extra-large cut Kihada tuna" and "rich uni wrap." The Kihada tuna is indeed "extra large" and the piece is huge! And it's delicious~ And the fact that it's only 150 yen per plate is amazing. And my favorite, uni. It's uni that doesn't use much roe, so you can really taste the sweetness of the uni... of course, I went for seconds. This is wonderful. And then there's the "tuna ohagi." As the name suggests, it's negitoro wrapped in rice with pickled radish, and it's quite heavy. As expected, limited-time items are worth aiming for~

The dishes at the revolving sushi restaurant were delicious, but it was a bit inconvenient that you could only order 2 plates per round at the counter seats. It would be nice to have more freedom in ordering. Also, it was disappointing that the squid onigiri I ordered turned out to be fish roe. I hope they can improve to better match the orders with the actual dishes served. However, the fresh ingredients and wide variety of menu options were good, and the staff were friendly. The prices were reasonable, and I had a great time with my family and friends. Despite some areas for improvement, overall it was a good experience.

Children: ✔️ Baby stroller: ✔️ Sunday around 11:30 AM, arrived at the table seat under the building and pressed the "I'm going now" button on the Sushiro system. Waited for about 25 minutes. As a result, we were able to be seated in almost that amount of time. There were many children. The aisle was spacious and easy to place the baby stroller. We were able to eat calmly without worrying about the surroundings since we were seated at the edge. Sushiro was convenient for a quick meal during my business trip to Osaka in the past. It felt more like a light meal than sushi. This time, I used it after a long time and noticed that the quality of the sushi has improved, right? The ingredients were delicious, which surprised me. Perhaps it's due to the competitive nature of the revolving sushi industry? I was curious and tried the photo of the sushi roll from the "Master's Technique" series. I thought it was too messy, but when I ate one bite from each side, it actually formed a cohesive arrangement. It was delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied. Corporate efforts really make a difference.

I visited the Sushiro Ikebukuro Higashi-guchi branch of the revolving sushi restaurant. It had been a while since my last visit, but each piece of sushi was very fresh with a good balance of sweetness and umami, making it very delicious. The amount and taste of the rice were also perfect, creating a great harmony with the toppings. Despite being a chain restaurant, they consistently provide the best taste, offering reliable and delicious sushi. This time, I indulged in unlimited uni, tuna, and salmon, enjoying a luxurious and satisfying treat. And of course, all at a low price, making it a great value for money. I was once again very satisfied.

I arrived early (11:30) so I was able to be seated at a table with almost no wait. The limited-time bonito tataki was deliciously grilled over charcoal, and I ended up eating 2 and a half plates of it. I also had red snapper tempura, shrimp tempura, and squid tempura, all of which had just the right amount of batter so you could taste the ingredients properly. The squid tempura was easy to bite through, with the batter staying on until the very end. Everything was served piping hot, and I believe the quality of the tempura is high. For dessert, I had the limited-time Catalana. The crispy top mixed with the ice cream in your mouth, and it was really delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Recently, there has been a lot of talk about Sushiro. While it is agreed that Peropero Kozou did something wrong, I think it is not right to gleefully expose the real name of a middle school student on social media, dragging up their graduation album and bullying them. While it is understandable that we want young teenagers to have a certain level of conscience, causing a lifelong scar over a temporary mistake made by a vulnerable minor can create a scenario that nurtures delinquent behavior, which is not beneficial for society as a whole. It is important to focus on rehabilitation even if mistakes are made. Unless the offense is something serious like murder, in cases like this, it may be best to let it go and move on. Apart from that, Sushiro is a pure victim in this situation. I decided to visit the restaurant after hearing about a collaboration that caught my interest. The prices seemed to have increased significantly, with even the basic red tuna sushi now costing around 150 yen per plate, which felt like a 50% price hike. While seafood was understandable, I hesitated to order my favorite crab salad as I would naturally prefer fish at the same price, making it feel relatively more expensive. Nevertheless, the quality of the red tuna at Sushiro surprised me. It was unexpectedly delicious. The negitoro gunkan had a rich, fatty texture that was a delight to the taste buds. The quality of the toppings seemed to have improved significantly. The sweet shrimp was visually appealing, and the highlight was the fatty and flavorful yellowtail that was simply outstanding. The seared yellowtail was a large piece that exuded a delightful aroma and had a sophisticated finish. I also tried the collaboration ramen with a popular spicy miso ramen shop called "Onikinbou" from Ikebukuro. The taste was different from the original, with a strong accent of star anise. The spiciness level was just right, and I ended the meal with my favorite mille-feuille for dessert. Reflecting on the book "What is Inflation?" by Tsutomu Watanabe that I recently read, I was struck by a passage that highlighted the structural issues of prolonged deflation in Japan. It mentioned the importance of shifting efforts towards positive directions rather than maintaining prices for the sake of it. This experience at Sushiro made me realize that the world is gradually changing. Even with a 50% price increase, if the quality improves significantly, it should not be a problem, and this kind of positive evaluation should be encouraged throughout society. I always admire the relentless efforts of restaurants like Sushiro and believe in giving them positive recognition. Moreover, perhaps it is time to let go of the Peropero Kozou incident and give them a chance to start fresh in life. It is important to be tolerant in a positive way.

Sushiro is so good, even though it's not even 100 yen anymore! I love it (*^^*)♡ The geso tempura is only 200 yen for this much! It's freshly fried and makes me happyヽ(=´▽`=)ノ I really wanted to eat tempura~♪♪ The fugu shirako tempura, which was a hit on Job Chūn, was perfect with red tuna and ikura♪

- Yellow plates (150 yen) x 17 / Red plates (210 yen) x 2 / Black plates (390 yen) / One item (160 yen) x 2 / Non-alcoholic beer (480 yen) were enjoyed. - The total for 2 adults and a 1.5-year-old was about 4,200 yen (approximately 1,800 yen per adult). - Recommended points: Affordable and delicious sushi that is not revolving sushi! No waiting if you go for an early dinner. - Located on the 3rd floor of the Ikebukuro To-kyu Building next to Bic Camera Ikebukuro Honten near Ikebukuro Station East Exit. - Despite the rising prices, you can enjoy a variety of sushi for less than 2,000 yen per person, making it a great value. - The concept of revolving sushi seems to have changed, with customers now ordering directly from tablets instead of picking plates off the conveyor belt. - Despite minor cleanliness issues, the focus on providing affordable and delicious sushi is evident. - Sushiro offers a convenient takeout service with no waiting time if you pre-order. - While there were some minor issues, the overall experience of enjoying affordable and tasty sushi at Sushiro was satisfying. - Sushiro is a great option for everyday sushi dining, and I look forward to dining at various locations in the future. Thank you for the meal! #Sushiro #IkebukuroStationEastExit #RevolvingSushi #AffordableSushi #DeliciousAndAffordableSushi #Ikebukuro

This season's third year-end party has arrived. Before that, I will meet up with my senior and have a light meal at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Ikebukuro. My senior just finished his fourth vaccine in the morning and took care of some business in Isogo, so we decided to have lunch in Ikebukuro. Senior: "Since the year-end party is yakiniku, let's have something light like conveyor belt sushi." Me: "Sounds good." Senior: "Is sushi really light...?" A silly question. I, a self-proclaimed capable woman, made a net reservation on the train. I panicked when I realized that if I didn't check in at the restaurant's machine within 30 minutes of confirming the reservation, it would be canceled. My companion calculated the arrival time and travel time to the restaurant for me. We barely made it in time. This is "Sushiro Ikebukuro Station East Exit Store," a conveyor belt sushi chain located about a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. We checked in at the machine at the entrance and were seated right away. Despite rushing to get there, the restaurant was empty. It was around 12:20 on a weekday, so I thought it would be crowded! My senior was running late, so he told me to go ahead and start without him. I ordered a beer and a lemon sour, but instead of being brought by the staff, they came on the conveyor belt making a rattling noise. I wasn't sure if I could take them directly from the conveyor belt. My companion arrived just in time. We toasted and ordered the salted silver cod and swordtip squid from the limited-time menu. The silver cod turned out to be sweet when I poured soy sauce on it. The squid was enjoyed by my senior and companion. My senior said he was fine with anything, so I randomly ordered different items. The steamed egg custard was delicious, and I ended up having two servings. Having enjoyed some tempura sushi at Hamazushi a few days ago, I ordered it again here. It was like having a tempura bowl! We played rock-paper-scissors to decide who could choose their favorite sushi from the 3-piece set we ordered. I lost both times, so my companions got to choose. We enjoyed the sushi and decided to walk around Ikebukuro to work up an appetite. My companion wanted to visit a model shop, and we ended up spending more than expected on lunch without realizing it. In the end, we walked around Ikebukuro to build up our appetite before heading to a yakiniku restaurant for the year-end party.

In the morning, I got vaccinated in my local area. On that day, my senior colleague was also off. After completing our errands, we decided to meet up in Ikebukuro since it seemed convenient for both of us. My colleague and I had plans for a girls' night out in the evening, and considering the access to the venue, Ikebukuro seemed like the best choice. The girls' night out was planned for yakiniku. Let's keep lunch light. Maybe some soba would be nice. No, let's just order a set meal! Sushi sounds good too. ...I wonder what makes sushi light. Maybe it's lighter than Western food. Or better yet, let's just quietly have soba at a soba restaurant. Everyone, you may have various questions, but that's what makes my colleague and my senior colleague interesting. We locked onto the Sushiro in the East Exit! It was the peak lunchtime, and it was right in front of Ikebukuro Station. We were wary of the lines and made a smartphone reservation from the car. Then, to our surprise, our turn came quickly, and we nervously entered the restaurant. If 30 minutes passed from the call, the reservation would automatically be canceled. Phew. Somehow we made it and entered the restaurant, only to find that it was not crowded at all. What a surprise! Due to the reservation, my colleague and I had to meet inside the restaurant, and we arrived a bit earlier and toasted with draft beer and lemon sour! Shortly after, my senior colleague joined us. After another toast, we started ordering one thing after another using the tablet at the table! There was no intention to keep it light!! They said they would walk off the full stomach later. The three of us, like hyenas, devoured the sushi that arrived and started talking about having ramen as a finisher. My colleague ordered the chawanmushi for the second time because it was so delicious. We ordered a 3-piece set and played rock-paper-scissors to choose our favorites. The winner chose the first time, and the loser chose the second time. I won both times and got my favorite sushi, yay! All the sushi was satisfying. The salted and marinated silver cod was amazingly delicious. This was my first time trying it. It's all thanks to the improved freshness management and transportation of today's era! On the other hand, the ramen was mediocre, and I wish they had served it hotter. There were too many white scallions compared to the amount of noodles, and it was hard to tell if I was eating ramen or just scallions. The tuna ramen was different, though. We each spent 2800 yen, and considering the quantity and quality, it was a good value! All three of us agreed on that! We still had plenty of time until my colleague's evening plans, so she suggested, let's go to another place!! Excitedly, the three of us moved on to look for the next restaurant. Wait, did I get vaccinated? I feel like I was told to cut back on alcohol because of it...

Well, it feels like a typical conveyor belt sushi restaurant. It's a city-style restaurant with prices starting from 120 yen. However, there are other sushi plates priced over 300 yen, which makes you question if it's worth it for this price. While the quality is decent for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the price may leave you wondering if it's worth it. There are other sushi restaurants with delicious sushi at similar prices, so maybe the best approach here is to simply enjoy the cheap options available.

I filled my stomach a little before watching a movie at Grand Sunshine. The revolving sushi restaurant was satisfactory. The sushi I had that day was worth the price. I skipped the drinks as they were expensive.

It's been a while since I went to Sushiro. I found out that a new branch had opened near Ikebukuro Station! If you exit from the East exit and go left, you'll see it. The first floor is a game center. Since it was a weekday, there was no wait and it wasn't crowded, but I could tell it would be busy on weekends, holidays, or during summer vacation. The waiting area is quite spacious! I sat down and placed my order using the touch panel. I checked out all the sushi passing by, but didn't see what I wanted, so I ordered everything through the touch panel. I like tuna and salmon, so I mainly ate those, and I also had a sudden craving for potatoes, so I tried them. Personally, I like the crispy texture. A quick and satisfying lunch. The staff were all foreigners, but they were very efficient and polite, giving off a good impression. Their hard work was evident. Consistent service. Consistent affordability and deliciousness. It was a satisfying lunch.

Sushiro in Ikebukuro has been popular since its opening. If you don't make a reservation on the app (check-in) in advance, you might have to wait forever. It's great to have conveyor belt sushi that brings sushi closer to you. I often go with my family, and it's convenient that everyone can eat what they like because there is a wide variety of choices. Especially, the potential of the noodle dishes is high, so I always struggle to decide which ramen or udon to choose each time.

I wanted to try the popular activity of eating live abalone that was featured on a TV show, so I stopped by Sushiro after golfing. The lemon had no effect, but when I poured soy sauce on it, it curled up! In addition, I also had gold-lined mackerel, fatty bonito, salmon with green onions, large red clam, medium-fatty tuna, battleship roll with green onions and tuna, and battleship roll with flying fish roe.

I missed lunchtime completely in Ikebukuro at 2:30 pm, so I decided to go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. I ordered the "Clam and Bamboo Shoot Udon" for ¥300, which came with plenty of seaweed, bamboo shoot tempura, and clams. I also tried the "Salmon Three Pieces Set," which is apparently only available in this region. The "Battleship Tuna with Green Onion" and "Red Clam and Cucumber" were good choices, but the sushi rolls were too hard, making it difficult to taste the ingredients. It was a bit disappointing. They seem to be promoting the sushi items featured on the TV show "Jobchūn," but the quality and prices seem to have gone down compared to recent conveyor belt sushi places.

Sushiro set (1310→1210) includes squid, sweet shrimp, scallop, boiled shrimp, horse mackerel, tuna, salmon aburi, salmon, shrimp, egg, green onion, and fatty tuna. It's a happy 100 yen discount~♪ Having two types of salmon, one being aburi, is great (≧∇≦)b The fatty tuna and green onion are both plentiful, which is nice, and the sushi rice is well-prepared. I love Sushiro (*^^*)♡

This day was a rare Ikebukuro date. It's quite unusual for us to go to Ikebukuro together. It was because I needed to change my smartphone model, so time was running out, and it was already 3 o'clock. I suggested this place as it seemed like a good option for a mid-afternoon meal with adjustable portion sizes. It was his first time at Sushiro. He only had the image of Kappa revolving sushi in his mind. When I was in my hometown, I used to go to Sushiro exclusively, but since coming to Tokyo, I hadn't been able to go. I had been insisting for 13 years that Sushiro is different. Finally, the day came when I could prove it. I couldn't make a reservation on my smartphone yet, so we visited the restaurant directly. We were told there was a 15-minute wait, but it turned out to be a 30-minute wait. During that time, I tried to keep him entertained by expanding his imagination with the menu (laughs). That day was the Tohoku Fair. We tried various dishes such as a tuna 7-piece comparison for 980 yen, uni wrap for 120 yen each, fukahire for 350 yen each, iwashi for 120 yen, namatori for 350 yen, sujiko for 350 yen, shrimp for 120 yen, octopus tempura for 120 yen, akagai for 350 yen, baigai for 350 yen, sea bream with sesame sauce for 350 yen, red squid for 350 yen, basil cheese-grilled shrimp for 120 yen, squid comparison for 120 yen, fried mozzarella cheese for 170 yen, seafood ankake chawanmushi for 200 yen, uni mixed soba for 400 yen. We came here thinking we could adjust the amount, but he seemed to have so much fun at his first Sushiro experience that he kept ordering more and more, and before we knew it, we had this much food. The orders arrive swiftly at the order lane. Perhaps because of the speed, the tuna 7-piece comparison and the fukahire we eagerly ordered arrived in a somewhat disappointing state. It would be nice if this could be improved. We also had octopus tempura and chawanmushi, and we had beer with them. Finally, we had uni mixed soba as our last dish. It was a bit of an adventure, but the mixed soba with uni was delicious. I love sushi restaurants at the counter, of course, and local sushi restaurants are great too, but I think there is something special about revolving sushi restaurants.

Sushiro is really bad, isn't it? Not just the sushi, but today's clam miso soup was terrible. The broth lacked flavor and the miso was weak. What is this! Well, I definitely won't come here unless it's 50% off with PayPay! Yokohama was also bad, but at least I could still drink the miso soup there. This place is really bad.
