The dish is loaded with vegetables including bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots, corn, wood ear mushrooms, onions, green beans, small shrimp, pork, and fish cake. The amount of vegetables and overall portion size is great value for money. The dish arrived at the table in just a few minutes. Plate udon is a Nagasaki-style dish similar to Chinese fried noodles. I'll stop by a restaurant on the way there. Hmm, Chinese food would be good, but I haven't been to Ringer Hut in a while. Let's go there! I first tried Ringer Hut when I was in college. It was back when I started working part-time and could eat out whenever I wanted. Everything tasted so good back then. I remember it was near Setagaya-dori after crossing the Kanpachi from Seijo. The first time I tried it, I was impressed. I think I had champon with a side of Yama-zoku onigiri. I remember the large onigiri with mentaiko. It's a story from a long time ago, so it's not on the menu anymore, and that store seems to be gone. Now, what should I eat? I'll have the Nagasaki champon (740 yen) with a set of 3 gyoza and half a fried rice (430 yen)! It used to be in the 700 yen range with onigiri. Times have changed. It arrived in less than 10 minutes! It's been a while. Let's start with the champon... hmm, it's delicious. Just like I remember. It tastes good. I remember my friends adding vinegar quickly, which surprised me at the time, and now I do the same. I used to think it was special, but now it's just normal. It's been over 30 years since those days. The gyoza is a bit mediocre. It's okay to have them, but if I had ordered them on their own... it might be a bit disappointing. Same goes for the fried rice. It's okay to have it, but on its own, it's a bit... you know. Maybe my taste buds have become more picky over the years, or maybe they've just dulled. It's a visit on the third day of the New Year. - Hokkaido Corn Miso Champon 840 yen - Half Fried Rice Set 280 yen - Nagasaki Champon 740 yen All the restaurants were closed for the New Year holidays. The few open restaurants all had long lines. Luckily, Lingehat came to the rescue when I was starving. With its 60 years of history, the champon noodles I had after a long time were delicious. I visited Ringer Hut after a long time. I was craving for a refreshing ramen, so I decided to go for the vegetable-packed champon with double noodles, which almost matches the volume of a Jiro-style ramen. The calorie count for this dish is 1,132kcal. I visited on a Tuesday at 11:48 am, and the restaurant was about 50% full. I ordered the "Vegetable-packed Champon" with "Double Noodles" and the dish arrived in about 5 minutes. The vegetables and soup were piping hot, and I ate while trying not to burn myself. The champon comes with two types of dressings: "Yuzu Pepper" and "Ginger." Initially, I planned to finish the dish without using the dressings, but ended up trying both for a flavor change. The dressings are delicious and help cool down the hot vegetables. On my way out, I ordered a champon for my family to go. The noodles and soup were packed in separate containers for takeout, which felt secure. Thank you for the meal!

On the first day of the Bon Festival holiday, I entered the restaurant around 2 p.m. on Mountain Day. It was about 20% full. I ordered a vegetable-packed champon noodle dish. It cost 890 yen! I had to wait a bit. Finally, it arrived! The portion was huge! I realized I should have ordered half the noodles haha. There were two types of dressing, one with ginger and the other with yuzu, which looked delicious. First, I tried it as it was, and it was delicious! Then I added some pepper and it was delicious! Lastly, I tried each dressing separately and it was still delicious without getting tired of the taste. I was already full. It was satisfying ^ ^

The taste was as expected and simply delicious. The location is easy to find. The interior of the store is not as clean as other Linga Hut stores. I have been there twice, and both times the staff were Chinese. The service is neither good nor bad.

I visited during the usual lunch hours. It was a cold day, so I felt like eating something warm. I chose the set menu which included regular Nagasaki champon (200g) and 3 thin-skinned dumplings for 790 yen. The dumplings came with yuzu pepper. I ate 2 dumplings with yuzu pepper and the other one with dumpling sauce, vinegar, and chili oil. It was delicious.

I used the Ringer Hut in Kagurazaka. It was my first time experiencing full-service where you order at the table and the food is brought to you. It was refreshing compared to self-service in food courts. They also have topping options here. I ordered Nagasaki Champon for 637 yen and my husband ordered Spicy Champon for 702 yen. He opted for low-carb noodles for an additional 108 yen. We also got a set of 5 gyoza for 259 yen. The prices include tax. My husband is on a diet, so he chose the low-carb noodles. They were a bit firm but not too different from regular noodles. We were able to earn Rakuten points and use LINE Pay. Thank you for the meal.

Ringer Hut, Thursday, February 28, 2019, 10 PM I ordered the double portion of plate udon noodles, which was quite a large serving and I was worried if I could finish it. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it's a lot of food. I started to get tired of it halfway through, haha. The regular size would have been just right for me. The taste was okay, nothing special. The fried rice and gyoza tasted like homemade food, which was nice. The biggest issue was that there was no vinegar at any of the tables! Isn't vinegar essential for plate udon? I couldn't find vinegar on my table either, so I thought maybe Ringer Hut doesn't provide vinegar anymore. I ended up eating the plate udon and gyoza without vinegar, and when I was about halfway done, a staff member silently brought vinegar to my table. I was surprised! As I looked around, I noticed they were placing vinegar on other tables as well. If they have vinegar, it would be nice if they could at least apologize for not having it earlier. The staff member who brought the vinegar was a Chinese woman. Regardless of whether there is vinegar or not, manners are important. I hope the headquarters of Ringer Hut can educate their staff on this. I won't be going back there again.

In late January 2019, you can also have food delivered by Uber Eats, but if you want to enjoy freshly made dishes, it's best to visit the restaurant in person. When choosing extra vegetables, the champon had about 100g more vegetables than the Nagasaki plate udon. In other words, the champon has 100g more vegetables than the plate udon. So if you want to have more vegetables, it's better to order the champon with extra vegetables. You can also add dumplings to get a decent amount of vegetables. Interestingly, this time the set menu came with Kagome's vegetable juice. It's a veggie feast (laughs).

I ate it for the first time in a long time. It was delicious.

This time, I entered the restaurant right when it opened for lunch. I waited for the opening time, but a few customers who seemed like regulars entered about 5 minutes early. I waited for the official opening before entering. The early customers were already inside, and the staff were serving them normally. I thought to myself, "Oh, I should have gone in earlier." I had already decided on my order, the "Vegetable-packed Champon." My parents are from Nagasaki, so we often eat champon and have it when we visit. This champon is already loaded with vegetables, but the Vegetable-packed Champon has even more crunchy vegetables on top, making it a recommended menu for those who are health-conscious. It's really delicious.
