I visited a restaurant in Shinjuku Mirrodo where you can eat ochazuke. I went on a weekday for lunch and didn't have to wait in line. I wasn't feeling well that day, so I thought ochazuke might be easy on my stomach. The taste was decent, with the salmon in flake form. I used the restaurant for lunch around 12:00. I strolled through the restaurant floor at Shinjuku Mylord and decided to enter. Everything looked delicious, but I ordered the seafood rice bowl with plenty of whitebait. As the menu name suggests, it was full of whitebait and delicious. About a third of the way through, I poured a little into a tea bowl and added the broth from the pot to make ochazuke. There were several toppings on the table, making it enjoyable. Finally, I had some more from the bowl, and I was very satisfied because I could enjoy the taste multiple times. I would definitely like to stop by this restaurant again next time I'm in the area.

I found this new place in Shinjuku Mylord where you can enjoy a dinner bowl or ochazuke with rice. It's great that you can have a week's worth of rice in one meal, but be careful as it might spike your blood sugar levels. The price is a bit high at over 1500yen, but I guess that's Shinjuku for you. They have a wide variety of options, so I recommend it.

I visited during lunchtime on a regular day. The restaurant was about 70% full and had a gentle, calm atmosphere. I had the Hokkaido salmon and salmon roe rice bowl. The salmon and salmon roe were fresh, and although I was worried they might become half-cooked when the broth was poured over them, they were actually delicious even slightly cooked. There were condiments on the table like nori, bonito flakes, fried tempura bits, and minced wasabi, with the minced wasabi being particularly delicious. You could also get refills of the broth, making it a gentle meal for the stomach. It might not be satisfying when you're really hungry, but it's recommended for when you want to give your stomach a break, relax, or when you're not feeling well but need to eat. The fact that the food was served quickly after ordering was also great. It's a recommended dish for busy, tired working adults.笑

When I go to Lumine, I often go to Komeraku. The menu is varied and never makes me feel bored. And everything is delicious. Today I had my favorite white fish bowl. Yes. No complaints. I went to lunch with my older sister and niece! It was crowded as it was Sunday afternoon! A young male waiter was very attentive to my niece throughout the meal, quickly noticing when she dropped her chopsticks or child spoon and helping out, which was really wonderful and impressive. 8th floor of Milord, a dashi-chazuke restaurant. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, I ended up here after coming from Lumine 1, which made my time tight. I jumped into Komelaku, where things seemed to be done quickly. The floor was quite spacious, and the energetic staff, a mix of older sister and older brother, were efficiently handling things. I ordered the sesame mackerel and horse mackerel sashimi rice bowl with myoga (1529 yen). It was served in about 8 minutes. It wasn't bad, but I felt like it wasn't worth the 1500 yen I paid. Before ordering, I briefly wondered if putting dashi on the blue fish would make it not smell fishy, and unfortunately, my concern was valid. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't eat it, but it was noticeable. Perhaps as part of infection prevention measures, the grated wasabi, which is one of my favorite things, was available for refill, but I felt hesitant to call over the busy staff who were working quickly. By the time I made up my mind, I had already finished my meal, which was a bit challenging.

[Impressions] It was fun to be able to choose the type of fried chicken and toppings for the ochazuke. I don't usually have ochazuke at home, but the light flavor made it easy to eat.
