I had the limited-time menu item, Beef Barley Topping Bowl, at a counter seating-only restaurant. I used a 50 yen discount coupon, so I thought it was a good value for money. The combination of okra and grated yam on Yoshinoya's beef bowl was delicious. The rice was barley rice, which had a nice crunchy texture.

Sunday lunch... After returning from a run around the Imperial Palace, I decided to try the sukiyaki at a nearby restaurant that I had been curious about. I opted for the double meat portion, which cost around 1100 yen - a decent price. Even with a regular serving of rice, it was a substantial amount of food. The meat portion seemed a bit unusually large... but that's a good thing! I mixed a raw egg and started by quickly making an egg over rice. I then poured the sukiyaki ingredients over the rice and dug in - not bad at all. I added some table red pickled ginger to the remaining rice, creating a ginger rice dish... and dug in again. I piled the remaining sukiyaki ingredients on top of the rice, sprinkled generously with shichimi togarashi, and turned it into a soupy gyudon, finishing it all. The quality was decent for the price, and the taste was that addictive B-class junk food flavor that doesn't disappoint. It had that familiar sweet and rich sauce taste of Yoshinoya, with thin slices of beef... a taste I hadn't had in a while. The flavor was okay, but the portion was satisfying - I left feeling full. Thank you for the meal!

I visited Yoshinoya in Higashi Ginza for the first time. I usually eat gyudon when I come to Yoshinoya, but this time I decided to try the butadon. I ordered the "Butadon, large size (including tax 503 yen)" with the "B set, with clam soup instead" (including tax 252 yen), and added a "soft-boiled egg" (including tax 85 yen). Normally, I would gulp down the soft-boiled egg in one go, but this time I tried mixing it with the pork to make a creamy butadon. Delicious. Eggs are amazing, after all. Also, I prefer clam soup over miso soup. I always choose clam soup. I pick out each clam from the shell one by one (laughs). The oshinko (pickled vegetables) was just the right amount for a break between bites. It's cheap because you can eat all this for less than 1000 yen. I paid with my prepaid card. There's about 30,000 yen loaded on my prepaid card (laughs), so even if I don't have cash, I can still eat at Yoshinoya for a while (laughs). So, I will be back at another store for sure.

It is orthodox but has a solid taste of demiglace sauce with a mellow flavor. The beef in the dish was not cooked together with the Hayashi rice, but added separately. It was a satisfying and delicious Hayashi rice with a generous portion.

I went to Yoshinoya Higashi-Ginza branch. I ordered the Kalbi Yakiniku Don with a half-cooked egg. I was surprised to find out that they also offer cheese topping at Yoshinoya. I usually order without looking at the menu, so I had the image of cheese topping at Sukiya. I'm sorry. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I didn't have much time for dinner, so I went to Yoshinoya. The beef yakiniku dish in the photo looked delicious, so I ordered the beef yakiniku set with less rice. The beef yakiniku comes on a hot plate, so it stays hot and doesn't cool down quickly. The yakiniku sauce is sweet and savory, made with grated apple and sesame oil. The beef slices are slightly thicker than those in gyudon, and there is plenty of onions. I got a little tired of it halfway through, so I added mayonnaise, which paired well with the sweet and savory sauce. I was able to finish it all. Thank you for the meal.

When I was feeling really hungry, seeing a Yoshinoya restaurant made me feel relieved. I needed to have a quick dinner outside, so I wanted to avoid any disappointing dishes. In times like this, I can always rely on Yoshinoya for a satisfying meal. Even before eating, I could already imagine the delicious taste of their beef bowl. As I was planning to order the regular beef bowl, I noticed a large menu displayed at the entrance with many unfamiliar items. I had heard about new menu items being introduced, but I never really paid attention since I always ordered the beef bowl. Among the new items, the Beef Beef Set Meal caught my eye (priced at 712 yen including tax). It came with a plate of white rice, beef belly on top of the usual beef bowl, and another plate of sesame-covered beef ribs with onions. The sauce was delicious, and it even came with miso soup. It was such a generous and luxurious meal. I had a satisfying dinner.

This was the most indulgent moment of the year for me! >>> I forgot to eat dinner even though I was at work...! <<< Unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable...! I realized this on my way to work. (Ahh!) I had no time, should I go to the convenience store? Or maybe Hotto Motto? What should I get? What do I feel like eating??? I placed my order, received it, and ran while considering the time it would take to finish eating. Then it hit me, yes, let's go to Yoshinoya...! And so I went to Yoshinoya. It was probably my second time entering Yoshinoya alone? It didn't feel like the first time either. I ordered a regular beef bowl and salad. It was served faster than expected. Wow, how grateful! My style is to sprinkle plenty of red pickled ginger and shichimi on my beef bowl and eat it, which was taught to me by the person who took me there for the first time. It was delicious to eat Yoshinoya after a long time. When I enthusiastically talked to my family about the deliciousness of Yoshinoya after returning home, I was met with a lukewarm response like, "Yeah, we know." [Bonus] The person in front of me at the checkout paid with PayPay, so I also opened the PayPay app for the first time in a while! I had forgotten about PayPay's existence, so it was a good reminder. Since then, I have been using PayPay when I feel like it.

Today, during my lunch break, I went to the doctor and didn't have much time, so I decided to go to Yoshinoya for the first time in a while. I ordered my usual beef bowl (regular size) with pickles and miso soup set, which cost 500 yen. The order came out quickly, but not as fast as the curry at Tsukiji's Nakae. As I started eating, I noticed that the beef bowl was different from before. It felt dry and I could taste the meat's sinew. As I continued eating, I became convinced that Yoshinoya's beef bowl wasn't as delicious as it used to be. I think it may not be just this store, but others as well. Next time, I will try Matsuya or Sukiya to confirm (although I believe there is only Sukiya in Ginza/Tsukiji because of competition with department store Matsuya).

Because it is frozen, the flavor may not be strong, but it seems like the taste is evolving every year. It appears that they have shifted their focus from appearance to quality. Even if it is from China, if they keep selling Japanese eel at this price, could the last resort for controlling consumption speed be the Washington Convention?

After several years, I visited the restaurant again. It was packed during lunchtime, so I decided to come for dinner instead. The taste was as reliable and satisfying as ever. Unless you encounter a really strange customer nearby, the chances of disappointment seem low.

I continued to dine at Yoshinoya in Higashi-Ginza and had the Beef Beef set meal for 690 yen, Kimchi for 110 yen, Egg for 70 yen, and a bottle of beer for 450 yen, totaling 1320 yen. The Beef Beef set meal included beef sukiyaki, beef kalbi, rice, and miso soup. The beef sukiyaki had a nice broth and the meat was thinly sliced and delicious as always. The beef kalbi had a rich and slightly salty flavor that went well with the rice. The meat was thick and satisfying. Mixing the egg with the beef sukiyaki gave it a sukiyaki-like taste and it was delicious. I also tried dipping the kalbi in the egg, which mellowed out the flavor and was tasty. The Kimchi was juicy and tasty. I had a second helping of rice and it was a very filling meal. I thought it was very attractive to be able to enjoy two delicious beef dishes and have a satisfying meal for only 690 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that they had a spicy curry at Yoshinoya in Higashi-Ginza, so I went to try it out. I had the beef spicy curry for 550 yen, a side salad for 110 yen, and a bottle of beer for 450 yen, totaling 1110 yen. The beef spicy curry had thinly sliced beef and onions on top. The beef was delicious with a good balance of lean meat and fat, and the onions were large and sweet. The curry itself was indeed spicy, with a nice sweetness and flavor. Even though it was a regular size portion, it was quite filling. It had been a while since I had the salad at Yoshinoya, but it was tasty with finely chopped cabbage, lettuce, and corn. It was so cheap, delicious, and fast. You can feel the 120 years of history in every bite. Thank you for the meal.

I went to try the new Saracia beef bowl that was introduced on July 3rd, which contains Saracia that helps reduce the absorption of sugar. When I placed my order, it was written on the receipt as 550 yen for the beef bowl (large size), 100 yen for the Saracia. It seems like they added Saracia to a regular beef bowl. I also ordered a side of pickles for 130 yen. When the food arrived, I noticed that it was slightly darker in color compared to a regular beef bowl. However, when I tasted it, it was indeed a delicious beef bowl from Yoshinoya. I cannot say how effective the Saracia is, but since it tastes just as good, I might consider ordering it again to stimulate my health-conscious mind, just like how I would order black oolong tea. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

On March 19, 2019, I had lunch during a business trip. I visited Yoshinoya in Higashi-Ginza, which had a bit of a line before 12:05 PM on a weekday. I ordered the Beef and Onion Bowl for 480 yen. The food arrived quickly, and the portion of green onions seemed to have increased. The egg was served separately, and I mixed the white part first. Despite having to navigate through the beef and onions to reach the rice, I enjoyed the fast, cheap, and delicious meal at Yoshinoya. Keep it up, Yoshinoya. You have a supporter in this well-located restaurant.
