The skewers have recommended options depending on the season, and I tried many different kinds. The shishito peppers were delicious - the sauce goes well with every skewer!! The shop is great for customer service and cost performance. The pork rolls are not juicy, but rather crispy grilled pork and vegetables. They offer all-you-can-drink menu, and the quality of drinks is high and delicious. Unlike other cheap places where drinks like lemon sour are not tasty, the drinks here are delicious.

I had some errands in Nishi-Shinjuku, so on my way back I thought about grabbing something to eat and decided to go to Kushitaro, a place I had visited a few years ago. I went alone for the first time, and they told me that it's okay to order just one skewer when dining alone, unlike the usual minimum order of two skewers. The skewers themselves were delicious, but the spicy miso dip was so good that I would say anything tastes great with it. It's perfect for snacking with drinks.

A few years ago, I casually walked into this restaurant and the bell pepper cheese wrapped in pork was so delicious that I even tried to replicate it at home. This restaurant has become one of my favorites. My friend and I, both women, sat at the counter. Although it wasn't too cramped, the seats were quite close to each other. Maybe this place is better suited for going with a male companion. The service was pleasant and efficient, with drinks being served quickly. The appetizers were brought out at a good pace, and I ended up eating too much. If this restaurant was near my home, I would definitely visit it alone as well. They have a wide variety of alcohol, but it seems like their focus is on getting customers drunk. Depending on the age group of the customers, the atmosphere can be overly lively and noisy. It was a dining experience at a restaurant that completely does not match my preferences. I'm recording this to make sure I don't accidentally revisit (bitter smile). Just a heads up.

Located just a 1-minute walk from Shinjuku Southeast Exit, the access is very convenient. It was my first time visiting, and I found the atmosphere to be nice and the staff to be very polite. After having a BBQ during the day, we wanted to have a light dinner and decided to go to this restaurant (*^ω^*)♩ We had been here before and enjoyed the delicious skewers and great value, so we decided to visit again. We were served mozuku seaweed as a starter, and we ordered the following skewers: ★Sunagimo (gizzard) and pickled zasai ★Shiitake mushroom roll ★Asparagus roll ★Shiso leaf roll ★Garlic sprout roll ★Eggplant and cheese roll. The combination of gizzard and pickled zasai was a perfect snack for those who enjoy drinking! It goes really well with drinks♩ Each skewer is large and satisfying to eat. They are all delicious, but the shiso leaf goes best with the meat rolls! The skewers are so good that you can eat as many as you want! Even though we had a filling BBQ for lunch, the right amount of saltiness and juiciness in the skewers made us crave for more food and drinks! The seating is mostly counter-style, with seats lined up side by side. It seems like a popular spot for groups of the same gender to casually drop by and enjoy a meal together! It's also conveniently close to the station, so if you ever run out of places to go, this is definitely a recommended restaurant to visit!!

For our second stop, we went to Kushitaro. It had been a while since we visited the main store. We started with a lemon sour for a toast! We ordered skewers based on individual preferences, with everyone joining in on the choices. Asparagus rolls, eringi mushroom rolls, and sticky bacon are always popular choices. There are many Kushitaro locations in Shinjuku, so even if one is full, you can usually find another nearby.

I arrived around 20:40 and was able to enter Mambo without any issues. The drink-all-you-can option came with a set of 10 skewers, which was nice. There didn't seem to be an option for drink-all-you-can without the skewers. I ordered a beer, which tasted good - it seemed like it was properly poured from a clean beer tap. The skewers were all delicious. The menu seemed to have limited options besides skewers, and there wasn't much authentic yakitori, but for some reason, I couldn't help but like the place.

We visited the main branch of Kushi Taro with 2 people on a Saturday at 7:00 PM. We used to go to the branch once or twice a month, but it was closed, so we went to the main branch after a long time. We ordered 4 different kinds of rolled sushi: yam, tomato, mozzarella, and asparagus. I always enjoy Kushi Taro's tomato sour drink, so I had it again on this day. Both the drinks and the sushi were consistently delicious. The only downside was that there were no skewer holders on the table.

The boiled peanuts served as an appetizer were delicious and a favorite of mine. The ingredients were of good quality and tasty. Skewers kept coming, one after another. The drinks were also enjoyable. It was a bit disappointing that the beer was a Premium Malt. I switched to a sour halfway through. I enjoyed the skewers until the end. The last skewer came out as the 10th and the meal ended. The tomato-wrapped skewers could have been a bit hotter, but overall it was a satisfying meal. Thank you.

It's a shame that it's only in Shinjuku... I've been coming here for about 4 years now, and since I don't often have the chance to visit Shinjuku, whenever I do, I almost always come to this restaurant. I love pork belly, so the fact that everything is wrapped in pork belly is really appealing. Especially the tomato, green pepper cheese, garlic sprout, and shiso meat skewers are absolutely delicious and highly recommended! These skewers are unique and you must try them! They have a wide variety of drinks, and the ginger highball with lots of edible ginger is great! Also, the tomato sour with lots of tomato sherbet is very easy to drink and I love it.

They serve a dish called "maki-kushi," which is skewers with pork belly wrapped around various vegetables. There are many types of vegetables to choose from, making it really enjoyable. The counter seats are so close to each other that at one point, the person next to us accidentally ate our bell pepper dish, thinking it was theirs.
