I didn't take photos of everything, but I had homemade Satsuma-age, Hakata chicken skin rolls on skewers, flower-flavored grilled chicken thighs, mentaiko rice, draft beer, lemon sour, umeboshi sour. Jazz music was playing inside the restaurant, which had a slightly upscale concept of Hakata cuisine. It's a shame that the atmosphere is completely lost because all the staff speak broken Japanese. Such a waste...

The workplace staff visited a clean and impressive restaurant with tatami and table seating options. We ordered the sukiyaki course, which includes a choice between motsunabe and sukiyaki. We chose sukiyaki. The chicken didn't taste particularly delicious, lacking a special touch. The chicken skin skewers, which the restaurant promotes, may need some improvement. The lack of multiple restrooms (only one for men and one for women) in a spacious restaurant could be inconvenient when crowded. Overall, despite the slightly negative points, we were able to enjoy a quiet dining experience in the spacious restaurant around 8-9 pm on a weekday.

After passing through the center of Shibuya and a little past the Sengoku Kaikan, we arrived at this restaurant. We used it for a drinking party with friends. A dieter friend made a reservation, so we had a healthy sukiyaki course, which was great for the ladies. The restaurant was spacious, with table seating, tatami rooms, and a counter. In the tatami room, there was a company party going on, creating a lively atmosphere. The all-you-can-drink menu included beer, highball, shochu, and sake, offering a variety of choices. The dishes came out promptly, which was nice. Here is what we had: Dried radish as an appetizer, mentaiko (spicy cod roe) which was a good snack, Caesar salad, chicken nanban, grilled juicy chicken thigh, healthy sukiyaki pot which was perfect for warming up in winter, and we chose the rice porridge as the finishing dish. It was a satisfying course that filled us up. This restaurant seems like a good place for drinking with a large group.

I used it for a drinking party. It is a popular restaurant for Mizutaki located about a 5-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station. I visited this place because I wanted to use it again since I used HAKATAKAMAJIDORI in Nishi-Shinjuku a while ago, but it became cold, so I made a reservation. The atmosphere was bright and lively compared to the Nishi-Shinjuku store. There were counter seats, table seats, and digging kotatsu seats, but this time I was guided to a table seat. First, cheers with draft beer! The draft beer was Ebisu! Recently, it has always been Premium Malt or Asahi Super Dry, so it was fresh with a different mouthfeel and throat sensation. The service was quick, and the beer mug was cold and delicious. The Ebisu course I reserved this time started with dried daikon radish as an appetizer. It was a light dish with a well-seasoned taste. Next, the parent bird's tataki was soft with a texture like chicken chashu, and the taste was also light. It was a menu that was perfect for the first half of the course. Then the salad appeared. The salad was a Caesar salad with HAKATAKAMAJIDORI prosciutto. The vegetables were fresh, and the HAKATAKAMAJIDORI prosciutto had a moist texture. It was quite delicious. And the main hot pot appeared. The hot pot was Mizutaki or motsu nabe, and you could choose, but I wanted to eat Mizutaki, so I ordered Mizutaki. The transparent soup was full of collagen and had a good aroma. In addition to the thigh, there were also liver and heart in the pot, so it was full of ingredients. It was stable deliciousness when dipped in the special strong vinegar. And the chicken was very tender and had a good texture! It was a very warming Mizutaki. You could choose between zosui and champon noodles for the end. This time I chose champon noodles. It is served in a blanched state so you can eat it relatively quickly. The thin champon noodles that can be bitten off with a snap were perfect for Mizutaki. I was able to enjoy eating and drinking thoroughly! Thank you for the meal!

It was cold, so after shopping with my friends in Shibuya, we made a reservation and went to this restaurant that serves Mizutaki hot pot! We chose the popular Ebisu course, which is in the 3000 yen range and very affordable. You can choose between motsunabe or Mizutaki as the main dish. The chicken here is really delicious, so I recommend the Mizutaki! It's full of collagen and seems good for the skin. The Mizutaki includes bone-in chicken pieces, liver, and heart, so you can enjoy various parts of the chicken. The chicken thigh is tender and juicy, you can eat it endlessly. The light Mizutaki broth is enjoyed with ponzu and yuzu pepper, which is a divine combination. The vegetables are also delicious one by one. For the finishing touch, you can choose between rice or Champon noodles. I was torn between the two and ended up choosing the noodles. The noodles at the end were also amazing!

I had never tried motsunabe with plenty of mentaiko before. The mentaiko melted into the soup and coated the vegetables and motsu, making it very delicious. I added extra vegetables and mentaiko for seconds, and then ordered the zosui as the finishing touch. The zosui absorbed all the flavors perfectly and was incredibly tasty! It was a motsunabe where I could fully enjoy the mentaiko, to the point where it settled in the soup. The selection of snacks for alcohol was also great, and I was very satisfied.

Here, you can enjoy authentic Hakata cuisine, and they offer a hot pot dish called "Motsunabe," so I decided to try it this time. There were various types of Motsunabe soup to choose from, but I opted for the chicken broth salt soup based on Mizutaki soup. The soup was refreshing yet flavorful, with carefully prepared chewy motsu (offal), along with plenty of vegetables like cabbage and leeks. I finished it in no time. The finishing ochazuke (rice soup) was also delicious. In addition to that, I enjoyed dishes like Hakata-style mentaiko (spicy cod roe), horse meat yukhoe, and collagen pudding. They also offer drinks like muscat vinegar-based alcohol and collagen yuzu sour, which are perfect for beauty and health enthusiasts. Overall, I was very satisfied with the abundance of Kyushu's blessings that I could enjoy at this restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is calm and relaxing, making it highly recommended.

A water-based hot pot specialty restaurant with its headquarters in Hakata and branches in various locations. They offer a variety of Kyushu dishes such as motsunabe and horse sashimi. This time, I ordered the spicy cod roe motsunabe, horse sashimi, and salad. The plentiful spicy cod roe and motsu were deliciously intertwined. The horse sashimi was also generous in portion and great value for money. Next time, I would like to try their water-based hot pot.

Located in the back streets of Shibuya's Center Gai is Hanamidori Shibuya, a specialty restaurant known for its chicken dishes and Mizutaki (chicken hot pot). Hanamidori also produces its own brand of chicken and collaborates with other companies. Although Hanamidori chicken is not a local breed, it is known for its rich flavor and sweetness. The Shibuya branch offers private rooms, making it suitable for business meetings, gatherings, or casual dining. During my visit, I tried their course menu which featured meticulously prepared and delicious dishes. The salad even included chicken prosciutto, showcasing the deliciousness of Hanamidori chicken. My favorites were the grilled chicken thigh and the Mizutaki hot pot. The grilled chicken thigh had a charcoal aroma that enhanced the flavor of the chicken, and the tender texture of the parent chicken's thigh meat was delightful. The Mizutaki hot pot was a standout with its variety of chopped meats, chicken liver, and meatballs, allowing me to savor different flavors in one pot. The soup was superb, and the finale of porridge was incredibly delicious. Hanamidori Shibuya offers tasty chicken dishes at reasonable prices!

This year's first shrine visit was blessed with good weather. But it's so cold! On days like this, I crave something warm to eat. I visited "Hakata Hanamidori" for a meal. I ordered Hanamidori Mizutaki (chicken hot pot), Parent Bird Tataki (seared chicken), Basashi (horse sashimi), Sunagimo Garlic Stir Fry (gizzard stir fry), Collagen Pudding, appetizer, Highball, Micho wine, and Cassis Soda. They also had motsunabe (offal hot pot), but I couldn't resist the allure of mizutaki. It arrived promptly. First, I'll try the soup. Mmm, it's rich and flavorful! The chicken is delicious, as are the vegetables. I'm glad I came. The Basashi, gizzard stir fry, and seared chicken are also recommended for snacks. The alcohol goes down smoothly. And of course, I finished with zosui (rice porridge). I'm completely satisfied. Looking forward to coming back again.

A water-cooked dish restaurant with its headquarters in Hakata. I have purchased retort soup for water cooking before, but this was my first time using the actual restaurant. Normally, they only open for dinner and do not serve lunch, but during the shortened business hours, they are offering a limited lunch menu for a limited time. Located on the second floor of a building at the end of Center Street, in front of "Outbacks". On the basement floor, there is "Onomichi Ramen" and "Komonya Hachiju" where you can eat. "Hakata Hanamidori Shibuya Store" has counter seats by the large glass window side. Acrylic boards are installed on the tables for 2 to 4 people. Tables are spaced out for social distancing. The TBS drama "Oh! My Boss! Love is a Separate Volume" theme song, Kis-My-Ft2's "LuvBias" is playing, it's on cable. ■ Fried chicken set meal 880 yen * Limited time lunch menu This price is cheap for this amount of food. Miso soup with leeks and eggs with a strong flavor. Just right cooked rice. You can get free refills even though the default portion is small. Dried radish with fried chicken and carrots. Chilled spinach ohitashi. Potato salad with a mayo flavor. Dessert with fruit jelly. The fried chicken comes with 5 pieces. Served with shishito peppers and lemon. The batter is light and has a soft texture, like karaage. It's tender and juicy! It has a unique seasoning so it's delicious as it is. It's so tasty and the cost performance is great!! It's nice to have a spacious space to enjoy your meal here. I'm really curious about the "Chicken Wing Curry Set Meal". By the way, the "Weekly Set Meal" for this day was "Oily Chicken".

Category: [Tokyo] Set meal ☆ Shibuya lunch only open at night izakaya starting lunch. It is growing so much in Shibuya that you don't know where to start. For those who want to start or get into the business of "Shibuya izakaya open only at night starting lunch," here are some key points to keep in mind. Hakata Hanamidori Shibuya Store ・Generally starts at noon. ・Some start preparing at 12 o'clock, even though they officially start at noon. ・Some are open irregularly without notice. ・Fried chicken is a staple, especially the chicken nanban. ・Some casually stop serving lunch. ※ Many stores start with the easy idea of "we have to do something in this day and age," so choosing a store based on pinpoint criteria can be extremely risky. Fried Chicken Set Meal 880 yen This is considered the standard in Shibuya. Based on this store, good stores are good and bad stores are bad. In other words, this is considered the standard in Shibuya. Two notable points. First, rice is refillable. Not just free, but with many small side dishes, which is very much appreciated. And the other point is that the miso soup is very minimal. It seems to be the smallest amount in life. I was surprised at how unusual it was.

Dinner on January 12, 2020 (Sunday) with my partner. After watching two Top League games, we went to HUB near Chichibunomiya and had a few drinks as usual before moving to Shibuya. We wandered around and ended up at this restaurant beyond Center Gai. We ordered draft beer, two servings of Hana Mikitori Mizutaki (¥2500 per serving) for the both of us, raw mentaiko (¥680), and mentaiko pickles (¥380). We accidentally ordered two servings of mentaiko, but oh well. The Mizutaki was pretty delicious, but it was a bit too rich and salty. Maybe that's just how it's supposed to be. It was still quite tasty though. Of course, we also ordered zosui (¥320). One serving split between the two of us was just right. I had another glass of draft beer, and the total bill came to ¥9834. And then we decided, "Let's go to Hakata to eat Mizutaki" (laughs).

I had some personal business in Shibuya's Center Gai for the first time in a while, and on my way back, I decided to have dinner at this restaurant. I had planned to visit the original store in Fukuoka Hakata during a previous trip, but it was too hot to have Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) at the time. This time, I made a sudden visit and opted for motsunabe (offal hot pot) to keep the cost down. I chose the garlic soy sauce flavor. Compared to the 300 yen motsunabe at West in Hakata (similar to a cheap chain restaurant), it was a bit more expensive but not too greasy or heavy. Hmm, maybe because I usually cook low-salt meals at home, I found it a bit too salty, which was disappointing. Perhaps I should have added more vegetables or rice porridge? The restaurant had a calm atmosphere and clientele for being near Shibuya Center Gai, so I think next time I'll challenge Mizutaki on a cold day. By the way, the Shibuya Scramble Crossing I walked through after a long time is a popular spot for foreign tourists and YouTubers to film. I didn't know there were so many karaoke bars in Center Gai.

After a long time, I felt like eating water hot pot, so I went to the restaurant. It was not crowded, so I ordered the classic water hot pot and a few side dishes. The taste was reliably delicious, and I enjoyed it until the last rice porridge. As always, it feels a bit expensive, but I can't help wanting to eat it regularly. I will visit again.

We started with a delicious dashi in a yunomi cup for a toast. It had a rich flavor and was really good. The chicken was tender and easy to eat. The ponzu sauce was especially delicious. Our hot pot was served by a foreign female staff member who seemed a bit serious and lacked smiles, which was a little intimidating, but overall it was a fun meal.

On January 31, 2018 (Wednesday), I went to a drinking party at a restaurant called Hanamidori in Nakasu. I was excited to try their Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) which I had enjoyed before in Hakata. However, the system at this Hanamidori was different. Unlike other Mizutaki restaurants, there was no soup start. The ponzu sauce was already in the pot from the beginning, so we couldn't drink the soup separately. The raw chicken and vegetables were already in the pot from the start. Perhaps this was because we ordered the 4,000 yen course. They didn't cook it for us, we had to do it ourselves. The soup itself was also quite light in color. We added the all-you-can-drink option for an extra 1,600 yen, making the total 5,600 yen. It was okay for the price, but it lacked the satisfaction I was expecting. The taste was not bad, but compared to the authentic Mizutaki, it fell short.

In Shibuya Center Street, there is a restaurant that serves delicious authentic Hakata cuisine, with a focus on chicken dishes. I went there for a company drinking party. Chicken dishes go well with shochu. The water hot pot is delicious with a creamy soup. The meal ends with a porridge! I would love to come back to eat this water hot pot again.

It had been a while since I met up with a friend and we decided to have dinner in Shibuya. My friend chose a local famous branch known for their Mizutaki (chicken hot pot). In Fukuoka, Mizutaki is a common dish eaten at home, so I didn't have high expectations for eating it at a restaurant. The Mizutaki we were served was decent, with the chicken being tasty, but the soup lacked any special flavor. My friend, who was trying Mizutaki for the first time, seemed to enjoy it, which was a relief for me as someone from Fukuoka. Thank you for the meal.
