Anyway, I love Saizeriya, especially their Egg Hamburg. The portion size and price are really unbeatable compared to other restaurants. I'm impressed! They also have other delicious and affordable dishes like Garlic Toast and Cod Roe Spaghetti. There are so many dishes to choose from.

I had a delicious and affordable meal with drinks at Saizeriya. The dishes were tasty and the portions were generous. The hamburger was juicy and flavorful. The menu had a good variety of options. I enjoyed the Chorizo and hamburger platter, shrimp salad, and the drink bar. Overall, I was very satisfied with the dining experience at Saizeriya.

After checking in, I met up with friends and went to the Cai Guo-Qiang exhibition at the National Art Center. It's been about 4 years since I last visited the National Art Center for the Tadao Ando exhibition. The Cai Guo-Qiang exhibition was really impressive with a lot of impactful pieces on display. After viewing the exhibition, my friends recommended this Italian restaurant. It's been a while since I've been to Saizeriya. We started with some draft beer. It's nice to come with 5 people and share different dishes while enjoying the meal.

One minute walk from Roppongi Station. There is a Saizeriya Roppongi store on the basement floor of Uni Roppongi. I love Saizeriya, and today I had red wine and escargot. Squid ink and petit focaccia are a must! The petit focaccia today is a bit lacking in puffiness, but I will dip it in the escargot oil. I am very satisfied today. I will visit again.

I went to Saizeriya in Japan for the first time in five years. The most impressive thing was how much it had changed in these five years. The menu hasn't really changed, but the quality has definitely changed. I used to love the Spicy Chicken and Sweet Shrimp Salad, but I was a bit disappointed to find that the taste had slightly deteriorated.

I sometimes use Saizeriya Roppongi store during lunch break. The cost performance is amazing. Today, I had the "Hamburger with Onion Sauce" for 500 yen including tax. It came with a mini salad and free refills of soup. I also added a drink bar for 100 yen. I got a 50 yen discount for reducing the amount of rice. So, the total was 550 yen including tax. The soup was a tasty consomme soup. The salad was okay with lettuce and a little tomato with aurora sauce dressing. The hamburger was good, although it seemed to have a lot of filler. The onion sauce was more like teriyaki sauce, but it was still good. The side of potatoes, corn, and spinach was generous and looked just like the menu photo. The highlight was the delicious rice, it was shiny and tasty. And getting a discount for reducing the rice amount was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a great value meal.

【Point】①A hidden Saizeriya located underground in Roppongi. ②Perhaps due to its low popularity, even during lunchtime, there are not many customers, making it a hidden gem. ③The lunch set is only 500 yen and offers great value. The taste and portion size were sufficient for a satisfying lunch.
【Trigger/Purpose】I was looking for a place to have lunch in Roppongi and decided on this restaurant based on the number of reviews on Tabelog.
【Location】Approximately 5 minutes on foot from Roppongi Station. The restaurant is located on the basement floor.
【Atmosphere/Seating/Customer base/Wi-Fi/Toilet/Smoking/Baby stroller, etc.】The interior had an Italian atmosphere with music playing. Despite being in Roppongi, there were surprisingly few customers, and many seats were available even during lunchtime. Perhaps being on the basement floor contributes to its lower visibility. The customers were mostly individuals like office workers and students, but there were also couples enjoying wine in the afternoon. Once you decide on your order, you write the number on a piece of paper and inform the staff, which seemed to streamline the process. It may seem a bit bothersome, but since nobody is expecting service, it is accepted as normal. It seems to be a cost-effective measure taken with efficiency in mind rather than introducing pads or other devices.
【Food】(Reason for ordering, taste, portion size, waiting time, others' orders, etc.)
- Onion Sauce Hamburger Lunch (¥500)
There were about 10 lunch options, all priced at ¥500! It truly lived up to Saizeriya's reputation for cost-effectiveness. You need to get your own soup, which was without any toppings. The hamburger was decently tasty. When you want a decent lunch to recharge, Saizeriya is sufficient.

I revisited the restaurant on a weekday night after 7 pm. As expected, most of the seats were taken, but I was seated quickly as a solo diner. Families with children seemed to have to wait a bit longer. (I was surprised to see families with children at Saizeriya in Roppongi). The man in a suit at the next table was slurping his pasta so loudly that I almost burst out laughing, but since it's a family restaurant, I didn't make a fuss about it. It was peak time, but the speed of service was satisfactory, with dishes being brought out one by one in about 10 minutes.
- Devil-style young chicken (500 yen): I found it a bit strange that chicken was priced 100 yen higher than a hamburger, but when I saw the actual dish, I understood. It was made with chicken thigh meat, and it had more thickness than a hamburger, giving it a satisfying texture. The cooking was done perfectly, a testament to Central Kitchen's cooking skills. It still had a factory-made feel compared to Gusto, but since Gusto's half-price coupon price is the regular price, it can't be helped.
- Hell's eggs (300 yen): The dish name seems to be inspired by the popularity of Demon Slayer. It came with two eggs in tomato sauce and bread for dipping. However, the strong seasoning taste of the tomato sauce didn't sit well with me. In my personal grilled chicken showdown, Saizeriya came out on top. While Gusto may have the advantage in cooking and quality, Saizeriya wins in terms of cost performance. With Gusto's regular price of 1,000 yen, it's tough competition when considering other options like Ootoya (a restaurant with in-house cooked set meals) nearby.

The other day, I visited Gusto for the first time in several years, so I also visited Saizeriya for a comparison. It was probably my first time at Saizeriya in about 5 years. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, so there were plenty of seats available, and even though I filled out the name list, I was seated without any actual wait time. I placed my order on paper and headed to the restroom, where I noticed they had adopted a toilet with foam that is resistant to dirt, probably to reduce the time and effort required for cleaning. When I returned to my seat, the dishes were brought out one by one. - Buffalo Mozzarella (300 yen) It comes with 3 round water buffalo mozzarellas (Mozzarella di Bufala) and salted olive oil for dipping. The taste is quite mild, but it's amazing to be able to eat high-quality water buffalo cheese at this price. (I have never tried authentic water buffalo cheese, so I should try it sometime.) - Soft Green Bean and Pecorino Cheese Warm Salad (200 yen) A menu I have liked since 5 years ago. The texture of the green beans, the sweetness of the warm egg, and the richness of the cheese make it delicious and satisfying. - Hamburger Steak (400 yen) At first glance, it looks like a frozen or commercial hamburger, which it probably is, but compared to my memory from 5 years ago, it seems to have a coarser texture and tastes better. The side of potatoes and coleslaw is also generous, and just this alone can make you quite full. As always, I worry about the cost at this family restaurant. In terms of filling and taste, Yoshinoya wins for me as a fan of Japanese cuisine. You can order a la carte as you like at this price, and they even accept credit cards and Suica payments without you realizing it. I wonder if they are making a profit in the expensive Minato Ward. Next time, I want to order the Chicken Grill to compare it with Gusto.

Today's seventh meal is a visit to Saizeriya Roppongi, with everything prepared and ready to go! I ordered the following items:
- Soft Broccoli: 300 yen
- Drink Bar: 200 yen
I love the name "Soft Broccoli" (^^♪ It's exactly as described. The broccoli is cooked until soft, with a hint of salt and a nice olive oil flavor. It's delicious! It feels like something you could easily make at home, which is great! My companion, on the other hand, went for the Milan-style Doria and Escargot. That's just typical of them. Well, next up is fancy sushi. Thanks for the meal! ☆

I visited the Roppongi branch of the well-known family restaurant chain, Saizeriya, located just a 1-minute walk from Roppongi Station. The restaurant is spacious with about 150 seats, making it suitable for students, office workers, and families. Following a friend's recommendation, I tried a combination of dishes: "Soft Green Bean and Pecorino Cheese Warm Salad" for ¥200, "Escargot Oven-Baked" for ¥400, and "Aglio e Olio Extra Large (ending on 12/13)" for ¥450. I mixed them all together and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the combination was. The flavors were better than expected, and the garlic in the escargot dish paired perfectly with the Pecorino cheese. It was a truly eye-opening experience, and I look forward to trying other combination recipes in the future. Thank you for the meal.

While on my way to Roppongi Hills TOHO Cinema, I arrived early and felt like having a light drink. Since I didn't feel like searching for a bar, I decided to just enter Roppongi Hills. I stumbled upon a Saizeriya and decided to go in. It was almost full on a holiday at 4:00 PM. I wrote my name down and waited a bit before being seated. I decided on what to eat and ordered a Don Rafaelo wine (dry white, 1,100 yen), spinach in a creamy sauce (300 yen), a refreshing carrot salad (200 yen), and young chicken in a spicy sauce (500 yen). The dishes arrived quickly, and the carrot salad and creamy spinach were delicious. The chicken dish was also tasty, with a crispy skin. I also had a cappuccino ice cream cake (200 yen) before leaving. This restaurant seems to be always busy, and I had a great dining experience.

I visited Saizeriya Roppongi store, located just a 1-minute walk from Roppongi Station. The founder and current chairman, Yasuhiko Masugaki, started the first Saizeriya as a personal store in 1968 in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, after working part-time at a restaurant while in college. The company was incorporated in 1973, and its overwhelmingly low-priced menu has been popular among a wide range of age groups, especially the younger generation. Today, Saizeriya operates over 1,000 stores in Japan and more than 300 stores overseas.
During my visit for lunch, I was pleasantly surprised to see the sign "Lunch menu starting from 500 yen including tax"! I decided to try the "Sakura Ebi Aglio Olio (large size)" for 600 yen, and added the "Lunch Drink Bar" for an additional 100 yen. The set came with a mini salad, and the soup was self-served from the drink bar. The pasta, with its flavorful sakura shrimp, paired well with the standard medium-sized pasta. All of this for just 700 yen was truly a result of the company's efforts. Saizeriya, though Italian, has undoubtedly become a national favorite among the Japanese. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the meal.

I visited after a long time. The small shrimp salad was delicious as always, so I had two small sizes. I had sparkling wine. It's a bit disappointing that highball is not on the menu. The grilled lamb skewers had a good texture.

The value for money in the Roppongi area is astounding! The location is great, and the taste is also good for this price. I can't complain. In fact, it's quite delicious. I was planning to go for the diet menu, but it's so cheap that I ended up ordering the full-size focaccia as well. The wine isn't great, but for 700 yen, it's still surprising.

I feel like I went to Saizeriya for a meal about a year ago! It was crowded with various restaurants at lunchtime, so I went there to quickly have lunch. Saizeriya was a bit crowded too, but because it's a big restaurant, we were seated quickly. I looked at the menu and thought, "It's cheap..." Probably the same reaction as a year ago haha. The menu is more extensive than I remembered, and it's really good value for money. It's definitely not to be underestimated! I need to make more use of it.

At around 12 o'clock on a public holiday, the seating rate was about 30%. I was excited to order the squid ink spaghetti, which I haven't had in a long time. The corn soup is 150 yen, Margherita pizza is 400 yen, Parma-style spaghetti is 400 yen, and squid ink spaghetti is 500 yen, totaling 1,450 yen. The spicy chicken seemed to be in short supply, so it came in a pack of 4. Well, I decided it was fine since I wasn't planning to drink wine today. They sell a take-out pack of about 40 pieces weighing 1.5 kg, so even if the spicy chicken is in short supply, I don't think it's a big deal, haha. The pizza seems to have gotten tastier than before, and the squid ink spaghetti is as reliable as ever! I love it so much that I could eat it every week without getting tired of it! The prices have all become nice round numbers without me realizing it, and that's pretty smart. Without a doubt, my favorite family restaurant is Saizeriya. If I were to be a little greedy, I would have liked to order a Chianti and spicy chicken after a long time.

When I went to an Italian restaurant, I mentioned Saizeriya, but it was a few years ago so I wanted to confirm my standards. Also, this week I saw that Saizeriya, which Italians like, was mentioned too, haha. The taste is hit or miss. The carbohydrate dishes may be cheap. If you try the prosciutto bought at Seijo Ishii, the cost performance may not be that great. The steak is not very delicious.

A combination of "pudding" and "classic tiramisu" for a sweet treat ( =^ω^)♥️ The pudding has a slightly bitter caramel sauce that adds an adult-like touch to the sweetness ♥️ The fluffy tiramisu is rich with mascarpone cheese ♥️ I paired it with a drink set including an iced coffee and enjoyed a good break with my friend Aiko ♥️(〃´o`)=3 ===========

Whenever I go to any Saizeriya restaurant, I always order the Spicy Chicken♪ I also often order the sautéed spinach and bacon. I usually order the dessert assortment as well, but for some reason, I was too full today. Instead, I tried the milk gelato for the first time! It had a strong milk flavor, which I liked.
