"Sukiya" is located a little away from Shinbashi Station. It can be used from early morning and has a wide variety of menu options, including some unique to Sukiya. Personally, I feel that the flavors lack a punch compared to Matsuya, so I might prefer Matsuya.

Regular chain store patrol. Discovered a seasonal menu that caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. This time, the store was Sukiya Shinbashi Sanchome branch. The restaurant was almost full, packed with customers. Finally, I managed to slide into a table at the back and placed my order using the tablet device. - Tsukimi Sukiyaki Gyudon (650 yen) Seeing the store banner and the image character Satomi Ishihara's recommendation, as well as it being an autumn menu, I had no doubts. The food arrived in a few minutes. Sukiyaki beef bowl with a raw egg and a separator. It's been a while since I used a separator. I cracked the egg and placed it on top, watching as the egg white dripped down beautifully. This was quite interesting. I placed the egg yolk in the middle of the bowl, as shown in the menu photo, but I failed. Using a spoon, I managed to place the egg yolk in the center and completed the Tsukimi Sukiyaki Gyudon. Now, time to eat. The Sukiyaki beef bowl had a sweet and savory flavor that I enjoyed. The beef, Chinese cabbage, shirataki noodles, carrots, and grilled tofu each brought out their own flavors, making it delicious. Breaking the egg yolk in the middle enhanced the sweetness and added to the deliciousness. Adding shichimi pepper for some spiciness, the taste improved further. I sprinkled pickled ginger from the table and mixed it in, finishing the meal in one go. After paying, I stepped outside into the scorching heat. It's still a long way from autumn weather, but at least I got to enjoy autumn gourmet food. Thank you for the meal.

At this time of year, I was considering a quick and huge meal at Unatoto, but the timing wasn't right today. It's been years since I last visited Sukiya. With limited time, I quickly placed my order. Today, I challenged the Una-Gyu (eel and beef) bowl for the first time. ■ Una-Gyu Special (2 eel pieces, large rice)… 1630 yen (excluding tax) The special comes with a large portion of rice by default. It's not that much food, really. Before the eel, I took a bite of the beef bowl section. Wow, I was surprised. The flavor is much stronger than I remembered. The rice goes down easily, but I feel like I might get tired of it. There are 2 pieces of eel. They seem to have been steamed, but they have a nice sear on them. The eel sauce doesn't have as much impact as the beef bowl. It's better to eat the eel bowl section first. The pickles are quite packed and good. The miso soup is average. With tax included, it's 1780 yen. I think it's a good amount for a large portion with pickles and miso soup included. Thank you for the meal.

I always check the website of my usual chain restaurant, and it mentioned that my favorite summer limited item has been released this year as well. So, I decided to go and try it out. This time, I went to the Sukiya Shinbashi Sanchome store. There was a flag fluttering in front of the store, creating a nice atmosphere. I was lucky to capture a good photo opportunity. I entered and sat at the counter. There were no acrylic dividers anymore. I placed my order using the tablet device on the table. I ordered the "Garlic Sprout Gyudon" in regular size for 580 yen. As I sipped on cold water, the dish was served promptly. Garlic sprouts were generously placed on top of the beef bowl. I opted for the regular size this time, but I slightly regretted not getting the large size. I have reviewed this dish many times before, so I won't go into detail, but the spicy garlic sprouts really enhance the flavor of the beef bowl as always. It's a perfect dish for the hot season. I enjoyed it until the last bite, adding pickled ginger from the table as I ate. I want to eat it a few more times this year, and I'm also considering adding garlic sprouts as an extra topping to the beef bowl next time. Thank you for the meal.

This is breakfast at Sukiya. I revisited recently and it was good. The beef bowl comes with okra, onsen egg, miso soup, and rice. Eating the miso soup, okra, and egg with rice while picking at the beef bowl ingredients made for a perfectly satisfying breakfast. It was delicious.

I visited on a weekday before 6:30 and ordered the taco rice for 580 yen. There were 3 customers before me and 2 after me. The staff consisted of a young woman and a young man. The portion size was larger than I expected and it was very filling. They also provided Tabasco sauce.

I'm happy that they are open for business early in the morning. I'm not a fan of natto, so I ordered bacon and eggs with beef dish for breakfast. It also came with simmered hijiki and salad. The small portion of rice was enough to satisfy me. The hot miso soup was great. I enjoyed a reasonably priced breakfast.

I went to Shinbashi. The SL in front of the station at the SL Square had finished its makeover and I was able to see its shiny appearance. This SL was installed during the 100th anniversary of the railway. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the railway, so it has been 50 years since it was installed. On this day, there were few stores open as it was a holiday. I went to Sukiya Shinbashi Sanchome store after a long time. When I entered the store and sat at the counter seat, there was a tablet for ordering. I remembered that last time I visited, I ordered directly from the menu to the staff. Perhaps this store also switched to tablet terminals to make it easier for foreign workers. I ordered a beef bowl, topped with plenty of pickled ginger and dressing. I usually don't post about chain restaurants like this (in fact, I don't usually go to them), but I had to post about this Sukiya this time! I've been wanting to try this Flaky Chicken Curry since it was released. At first, it would sell out at the store or they didn't offer delivery, but I thought it must have calmed down by now so I went to try it. I was planning on getting the regular one, but I found something interesting on the menu, so I ended up getting the Fire Chicken Curry for 740 yen, plus an okra salad and miso soup set for 230 yen, totaling 970 yen, which is a bit high for a beef bowl place. The Fire Chicken Curry is already spicy, but then they added even more spicy seasoning on top, which is great for those who like spicy food. Of course, it's not so spicy that you can't eat it. And the long-awaited flaky chicken... delicious! It's really flaky! It comes off the bone easily, has a good amount, and it's just delicious. I've heard that Matsuya's curry is also delicious, so I'll have to try that next time!

I decided to try having breakfast at Sukiya for the first time in a while. I noticed that they no longer offer the sausage set, but I was intrigued by the "pork natto mixed rice bowl" so I decided to order that instead. I didn't fully understand what it was, but it turned out to be a pretty generous meal. It even comes with okra, soft-boiled egg, and bonito flakes, which I thought was a nice touch. Compared to Yoshinoya's "natto beef side dish," it's a bit cheaper. I used to always go to Yoshinoya for breakfast, but Sukiya is not bad either. In terms of balance and price, Sukiya wins this round.

Location: 1F, Hotel Shinbashi Sanbankan, 3-10-9 Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo Reason for visit: I used it for breakfast after an all-nighter for work. Food: I ordered the Cheese Gyudon (beef bowl) and it was served in about 3 minutes. The meal was quick and smooth. I would like to use it again!

There is a shop along Akarenga Street in Shinbashi. It has a stylish exterior that is different from the usual Sukiya. I tried the Yoko-Hama Curry Menu, specifically the Om Curry in regular size (620 yen including tax). I took it to my hotel to eat. The curry and rice were separated in a special container, along with Fukujinzuke. On top of the rice was a fluffy egg omelette with spinach and cheese. The shabu-shabu curry was delicious as usual, but it seemed even tastier than before. The egg and cheese paired well with the curry. Thank you for the meal!

I went to Shinbashi and because I was hungry, I decided to try a Sukiyaki restaurant that I had never been to before, called "Sukiya Shinbashi Sanchome Store." This restaurant is located on the first floor of a business hotel. The exterior of the restaurant is more elaborate compared to other Sukiya stores. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed that there were no tablet devices for ordering. I looked at the menu and ordered a regular size beef bowl. It seems that there are still some restaurants without the Chinese tablet devices. The beef bowl here seemed to have a generous amount of meat, or maybe it's just my imagination. I topped it with plenty of red pepper and pickled ginger. It was delicious.

I ordered a regular beef bowl set with salad and miso soup for breakfast today. Beef bowl is definitely a popular choice for the common people. It's cheap, delicious, and the best. I usually like it with extra sauce, but this time I tried ordering it normal. The miso soup tastes good, even though it seems like it's instant.

I am a member of JAF. I received a discount coupon in the magazine they sent me, including a 50 yen discount coupon for Sukiya. So, I visited Sukiya in Shinbashi Sancho-me. I had the usual beef bowl, which costs 350 yen, but with the discount, it was 300 yen. I added plenty of pickled ginger and sprinkled lots of seven spice as usual. It was delicious. Today's lunch cost me 300 yen. I will use JAF's discount coupon again next time! Thank you for the meal. Summer 2019.

Sukiya's pork bowl is gradually being discontinued, so I visited this place connected to a business hotel with a breakfast coupon for the first time in a while. I ordered the pork bowl with clam soup set, and it arrived in about 4 minutes. It's nostalgic. When you drizzle sesame dressing on it, it becomes like shabu-shabu style. The clam soup is quite tasty. It feels like the end of an era, but there are pork bowls available at other restaurants too, so it's okay.

On this day, I drank quite a bit. So, I decided to walk to a certain subway station that has become my daily routine on the way back home. However, on this day... "I'm really struggling walking this drunk lol." So, I decided to put something in my stomach at a shop that caught my eye. That shop was this one. I already know how delicious this shop's food is, so there was only one thing to order. A regular beef bowl with an egg. The speed at which it quickly arrived after ordering was great. And when I ate it... delicious! My way of eating, mixing the egg and adding a lot of shichimi pepper and pickled ginger, may make some people wonder "how is it?" but it's just delicious! Satisfied, I left the shop and skipped my way to that station. 😂😂😂

I had breakfast in Shinbashi, passed two orange and yellow gyudon shops near Ueno station, and arrived at a hotel where I had breakfast at a red chain restaurant. At this hotel, there was also a ramen shop and a rice porridge breakfast service. I had a discount coupon for gyudon, but I remembered the breakfast series starting at 250 yen, so I ordered the natto breakfast for 320 yen. The natto breakfast arrived faster than the gyudon, consisting of a two-tiered dish with a raw egg, a pack of natto, mini potato salad, and miso soup. I added shichimi pepper to the miso soup, cracked the raw egg, mixed the natto with mustard and soy sauce, combined it with the egg, and poured it over the rice for a delightful breakfast. The miso soup tasted instant, and the mini potato salad seemed like it came from a central kitchen, but the natto rice was delicious. They accept cashless payments.
