A shop like a select shop that sells various tofu, beans, and soy milk products at Take-no-Tsuka. I tried the soy milk pudding, but it had no soy milk flavor at all, it tasted just like regular milk pudding. I had soy milk pudding for breakfast.

At the shopping street beyond the rotary from the east exit of Tobu Skytree Line Takenotsuka Station, there is a shop called Sandaime Shigekura. Let's find something that could be a good match for a light snack! There are many products derived from soybeans. I bought the salted umeboshi tofu for ¥150 and the thick-fried kimchi for ¥162. The umeboshi tofu is a limited quantity item! I enjoyed it with fully ripened umeboshi and Himalayan pink salt. It's refreshing and perfect for summer! As for the thick-fried kimchi, I ate half of it as is and stir-fried the rest with tteokbokki. Maybe it's better for stir-frying (*⁰▿⁰*) But Sandaime Shigekura sure has some creative ideas, overturning the traditional image of tofu (laughs).

While taking a walk in Takenozuka, I happened to enter a shop and found reasonably priced and delicious tofu, as well as a variety of side dishes. I couldn't resist and ended up buying a bunch of them. When I brought them home and tried them, everything was delicious. The tofu cheesecake and tiramisu were especially good. If they were to open a store in the city center, I believe they would become a big hit.

On this day, I went to eat Indian food in Takenozuka. On the way there, I found a shop called Mokuzo, so I decided to stop by on the way back. Mokuzo has a lot of interesting products, and it's fun just to look around. Plus, it's a perfect shop for me who is on a diet. The items I purchased on this day were: ● Miso-pickled tofu for 162 yen ● Negi-taro for 108 yen ● Seasoned konjac for 108 yen ● White sesame sandwich for 108 yen. The prices are reasonable, which is nice. It's a shame that there isn't one near my home. Everything was delicious, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

On a certain Sunday around 11 o'clock. I pass by this shop almost every week, so sometimes I end up buying something on a whim. They have a lot of items with low prices (¥108 or ¥216), so I tend to get carried away (^^;; Today, as I was walking around the store, I found "Summer Taiyaki with Mochi Inside ¥108". It's a taiyaki filled with plenty of sweet bean paste and chewy mochi, seems like it's meant to be eaten cold. Since it was already refrigerated, I bought it and tried it right away! The dough has a firm texture. The sweet bean paste and mochi are tightly packed, with just the right amount of sweetness, not too overwhelming. The texture of the dough being cold is quite interesting. However, it's a bit dry and lacking in moisture, so having a drink would be nice haha. The back of the package says "It's also delicious when warmed up", so maybe I'll try warming it up next time. I wonder if the mochi will become soft and gooey♪ Even though it's a tofu shop, they have quite a variety of items besides tofu, so you can enjoy different things (^^)

On July 3, 2015, the chilled cream bread here is quite delicious! [Shigeru Takenozuka Store] Theme: Sweets My partner often shopped at "Shigeru," a tofu specialty store, but I have never bought tofu from there... (laughs) I was a fan of the sweet and savory dumplings with plenty of red bean paste, so I didn't really buy anything else. However, since there is a sales outlet on the street in front of Takenozuka station where my office is located, I started checking it out regularly. I was lured by the staff's call of "This is the last one!" and ended up buying the rich soy milk chilled [raw] cream bread for 108 yen. At first bite, I thought, "This tastes just like Ya**do," but the cream didn't come out right away. However, after a while... I couldn't help but exclaim how delicious it was! I realized that both the price and taste were far superior here! (This is just my personal opinion) I bought various other items as well, some of which have nothing to do with tofu... Next time, I plan to purchase tofu-filled donuts, chilled dorayaki, premium slightly spicy silken tofu, seaweed mochi, and more!

My favorite restaurant, Sandaime Shozo Momen Tofu, was also found in Takenotsuka. The shop didn't have a sign, so I wasn't sure what kind of store it was until I peeked inside and discovered it was Sandaime Shozo Momen Tofu. They offer a wide variety of tofu, as well as side dishes and sweets made with soy milk. They have a rich selection of items, including traditional Japanese sweets like dango and inari sushi. The prices are very reasonable, which is great. I always feel like buying so many things, but this time I only bought four items:
- Unadjusted Rich Soy Milk: 108 yen (tax included) - I always buy this product. It's unadjusted and very rich, which I love. It's also very affordable at 108 yen for 1 liter. It's not in a paper pack, so it's convenient for disposing of the trash.
- Premium Yam Tofu: 162 yen (tax included) - This seems to have been recently released. The tofu is wrapped in something like kitchen paper, and when unwrapped, it had plenty of white sesame seeds on top. The tofu is a bit firm with a texture similar to cotton tofu. Tofu with yam is very healthy and delicious. It might be good for hot pot season.
- Soy Milk Konjac Cold Udon: 108 yen (tax included) - Many diet products made with konjac are not tasty, but this one, with soy milk, doesn't have the typical konjac smell, and the broth is very flavorful. It was very delicious and satisfying to eat. I would like to repurchase this for my diet.
- Soy Milk Noodle Fresh Soba: 216 yen (I think) - I forgot the exact price. I purchased dry soy milk soba noodles at a different branch before and they were delicious, so this time I bought fresh ones. They have a good chewy texture, and they are quite good too. I'm happy that they are healthy with soy milk. They keep coming out with new products, so I'll go buy more again soon.

[Ordered Dish]: Various traditional Japanese sweets like Daifuku
[Visit Date]: During a holiday lunchtime
[Shop Crowdedness]: There was a line outside the shop.
[Shop Atmosphere]: The shop had a vibe similar to a vegetable store, with vegetables also being sold.
[Dish Impression]: The Daifuku was long and slender, with a mild level of sweetness.

I went to Sandaimemoshuzo at Take-no-Tsuka. I had tamagoyaki for 206 yen, Moshuzo's kusamochi for 323 yen, and mixed grain inari sushi for 269 yen. It was a lunch and snack for the end of the year. There were also many New Year's products lined up. The shopping street in front of Higashiguchi Station is lively. I bought a lot because it was cheap.

Mokzo is a tofu specialty store located in the Takenozuka shopping street. It is very popular among mothers at lunchtime, with some people buying in large quantities, leading to long lines at the register. I bought edamame tofu, which was fluffy and filled with plenty of edamame beans! It is delicious on its own, but sprinkling a little salt really brings out the flavor of the edamame, making it even more delicious! In addition to tofu, they also have sweets and daifuku, so I would like to try using their other products as well.
