Chikugo Station is a 2-minute walk away♬ This authentic charcoal-grilled izakaya specializes in delicious charcoal-grilled skewers and chicken dishes. I enjoyed the Hakata Mizutaki Course <6 items> with 2-hour all-you-can-drink. ■ Chicken gizzard salad ■ Edamame ■ Deep-fried taro ■ Ooyama chicken salted deep-fried ■ Hakata Mizutaki (white) ■ Finishing ramen All this for 3,850 yen (tax included) with coupon. It was a great deal! The all-you-can-drink menu is also extensive and satisfying. The meat for the Mizutaki and deep-fried dishes was really delicious and fresh, being directly managed by a meat shop. Cheap, tasty, fresh, and safe! Plus, they have darts! The restaurant is loved by locals, with many regular customers, making it a very enjoyable place to be.

Even on weekdays, it's packed around 8pm! They have many bottle keep options and it's cheap and close to the station, so it's easy to drop by. Ladies' Day is on Thursdays until 9pm, with all drinks priced at 190 yen. The food and drinks come quickly, which is much appreciated. It's a great izakaya for those who enjoy drinking. Personally, I tried the taro root Karaage for the first time and it was delicious. I left feeling very satisfied with a full stomach. I ordered the Hakata Mizutaki course (excluding tax 3,500 yen). Although there are no photos, they also offer a ramen dish at the end. Recommended points include the fast service, proximity to the station, casual atmosphere, and being open until 2am. I recommend making a reservation for weekday dinners. The atmosphere is cozy with many female customers.

Torijiro Kikukawa Station, 2 minutes walk, ¥4,000 - order - Hakata Mizutaki Course (¥4,320) consisting of 6 items: "Chicken Jiro Salad / Edamame / Taro Karaage / Ooyama Chicken Salt Karaage / Hakata Mizutaki (white) / Finishing Ramen." The taro karaage with all-you-can-drink was delicious with its crispy texture and juicy chicken breast meat. The Mizutaki was a chicken white soup that was so good, I couldn't stop drinking it. They even offered just the soup to enjoy on its own. Be careful not to finish the soup before the finishing ramen arrives. - Note - Even though it's an izakaya, they have darts and tequila, so it seems like a fun place to enjoy games and raise the mood. This would be a great place for a year-end party with friends! When going with friends who like to drink, it's better to go for all-you-can-drink to keep the wallet happy. This time we had a course menu, but I heard their yakitori made from freshly ground meat is also delicious. I'll try that next time! If you found this review helpful, please "save" it! I suddenly felt like eating yakitori, so I went home once and then went to Kikukawa. Cheers with a highball (*´︶`*)ノ. I had: - White liver, very rare and delicious! - Quail eggs - Salted fried chicken from Ooyama chicken, very juicy even though it's breast meat! - Fried lotus root sandwich - Chicken gizzard salad, I was told to eat greens and it was delicious with sesame dressing! I appreciated being able to smoke at the table. I want to go again when I'm hungry! Thank you for the meal!

(Initial Review) 01/09/2022 First visit. Before the term "Instagrammable" became popular, I hardly used Instagram. Recently started using it again and found some restaurants that liked my posts, so this is the 12th installment of the series trying out those places. Visited "OLUPONO CAFE" before coming here. Here's what I ate and drank: [Food] - Cabbage appetizer - Chicken liver (slow-cooked) - Homemade motsu stew - Ooyama chicken salt fried chicken - Thick omelette - White liver (wasabi) - Chicken gizzard skewers (wasabi) - Assorted skewers 8 pieces (chicken liver... I didn't write the official menu name from the beginning because I thought it couldn't be posted on Tabelog. They explained each skewer when they brought it, but I forgot some. The tasty ones were chicken liver with garlic, salt, and sesame oil, flavorful homemade motsu stew, and Ooyama chicken salt fried chicken that goes well with mayonnaise.) [Drinks] - Strongest lemon sour (with frozen lemon) - Refillable medium sour (for the strongest lemon sour) (Uses a special shochu for the lemon sour with a refillable option at a relatively low price, so it's likely to be chosen.) The total was 4440 yen. The background music was good. Thank you for the meal.

Just outside Chikugawa Station! Head south on Mitsume Street and it's on your left. They have both counter and table seats, creating a cozy atmosphere suitable for solo diners or families. Most likely all seats allow smoking, so it's a kid-friendly place if you're okay with smoking. I didn't realize it was a chain restaurant until I checked on Tabelog, it felt so homey♡ Besides yakitori, they also offer a variety of fried and appetizer dishes at reasonable prices, which is great for families, right?

I went with three friends. We had delicious grilled chicken skewers with white liver, neck, thigh, heart, breast, and leek. I ended up eating 8-10 skewers by myself (lol). The only disappointing things were the strange-smelling water and the unfriendly female staff with low-level service skills. They need to work on educating their staff better. Letting them be untrained is not good for the business. I wonder what's causing the water to smell? I'm too scared to drink watered-down alcohol. (^_^;)

I think I came here about a year ago. Tomorrow is the Omagari fireworks festival, so to lift our spirits, we decided to hold a pre-festival party at the last minute! The restaurant is spacious, and today there was a group of about 6 college girls who were making a lot of noise and having a great time. Tonight, we ordered moon-viewing tsukune for 210 yen, pork belly for 180 yen, white liver with wasabi for 180 yen, gizzard skewers with wasabi for 180 yen, chicken tenderloin for 180 yen, Miyazaki local chicken charcoal-grilled for 890 yen, fried taro for 350 yen, and two glasses of black Hoppy for 430 yen each (we got the first glass free with a coupon from Tabelog!). We also ordered unlimited cabbage appetizers for 250 yen. I eat a lot of yakitori as I go around trying different places, so I like to think I have a good sense of the taste. Personally, I feel like the cost performance is a bit lacking here. Everything was just okay in terms of taste. If you like your white liver rare, I wouldn't recommend it here as it is well-done. Also, the chicken charcoal-grilled here uses breast meat instead of the usual thigh meat, so the taste and texture are different from what most people are used to. If you've had breast meat before, you can probably imagine what it tastes like. Thank you for the meal.

Chikugawa station near "Tori Jiro" is managed by Sanctuary Co., Ltd. (Tori Jiro (grilled chicken), Uo Jiro (seafood grill), house-style ramen, Dandadan Sakaba (dumplings), and even a Sekibeya). The shop's commitment is as follows: 1) Every day, they can purchase high-quality Oyama-dori that was ordered the day before at an amazingly low price in the industry, ensuring it is the freshest. 2) With over 40 delicious charcoal-grilled skewers including creative skewers, they take pride in their charcoal-grilled chicken dishes. The overall level of the food is higher than other similar restaurants. The grilling is done thoroughly without making the meat tough. The sauces don't slide off the grilled chicken easily. The dishes tasted are as follows: 1) Sasami Natto - It's new to have natto on it. The meat is cooked through but still tender. 2) Negima - The large size of the leeks is pleasing, but the meat is slightly firm. 3) Tsukune - It has a texture similar to canned chicken, not very juicy. It's not bad, but not great either. 4) Momo - The slight addition of garlic is a nice touch. The meat is well-cooked and tender. 5) Piman Cheese - It's a shame that the cheese is spilling out. 6) The fried chicken has little oil, making it light and the meat tender.

Today is our second stop~. We are moving from Kameido to "Kuinomiya Fuu" restaurant. I was planning to take the train from Kameido to Kikukawa, but my friend suggested taking a taxi. What~! It's expensive! But it turned out to be the right decision. Tokyo really has short distances between stations. We arrived around 8:00 PM. The reason for our visit was that my friend was impressed by the lamb at "Fuu" on our first visit and mentioned that they had recently tried a delicious creamy white liver dish. So, despite feeling a bit guilty about leaving the lamb behind, we immediately moved to the next place, Chicken Jiro. The restaurant is spacious and when we arrived, there were no other customers. I was a bit worried about that at this time, but we were there for the white liver dish. Plus, my friend who loves smoked foods was excited to try the smoked white liver that was sold out on their last visit. We also ordered a carafe of red wine. It was a moment of happiness. Let's dig in! My first impression of the white liver was that it had little liver taste and a very sweet flavor. It felt like a luxurious experience. The wasabi served with it was a nice touch. As for the liver smoked dish, I only had a bite as it was our second stop... I'm sorry. But it was delicious. Rich and with a strong smoky aroma. The wine went down smoothly. We finished the carafe and ordered another one. This time, we tried the smoked horse meat. However, I was already full and couldn't eat much. Last month, when I visited "Kushikatsu Tanaka" in Honjo-Hachiman, I also planned to try this horse meat dish, but ended up ordering other items first and didn't get to it... I'll make sure to order it first next time. My friend finished the horse meat and two other skewers, and we decided to head home. Correction, we wanted to head home. But maybe we'll end up at a third place. The next day, I saw "Chicken Jiro" on Tabelog and realized that the menu is extensive and looks delicious. And it's affordable too. The ramen that you crave after drinking even has a half-size option, which is great. I'll definitely use it as our first stop next time. Thank you for the meal ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Visited the restaurant around 11 pm on a regular night with a friend after some overtime work. We wanted to give something to an acquaintance, so we decided to have a drink at Yoshinoya for a casual drinking session. However, the atmosphere there didn't seem right for drinking, so we walked around and finally found this place. Luckily, they were open until 1 am. We ordered a Ruby beer and some dishes like cabbage appetizer, simmered beef tendons, and various grilled chicken skewers. The food was delicious, especially the simmered dish and the chicken skins and livers. Unfortunately, some items like white liver were sold out, but that's understandable given the late hour. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and the food is tasty. We were grateful for the late-night service and would like to visit again for a late drink session.

I went to a nearby chicken restaurant, Chicken Jiro, because my usual yakitori place was full. The restaurant had a counter surrounding the grilling area, with a few tables along the walls. It was past 8 pm on a weekday, so there weren't many customers. I ordered a beer, edamame, and the recommended sashimi labeled as "directly from Tsukiji." Unfortunately, the sashimi was not very fresh and lacked texture. The edamame was overcooked and too firm. I tried to salvage the meal by ordering some grilled items, which you could order one by one, but they were all underwhelming. The shiitake mushrooms were too salty, and the other grilled items didn't leave much of an impression. The only decent dish was the tsukune (chicken meatballs). I switched to sake after the beer, but when I tried to order another round, they were out of stock. I realized that this restaurant just wasn't a good match for me. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat yakitori close to midnight, but most of the shops were closed, so I visited Tori Jiro for the first time. The prices were reasonable like an izakaya, but the yakitori was disappointing, with some pieces undercooked and others soaked in overpowering garlic sauce. The only delicious items were the fried potatoes and chicken soup.

I don't drink much alcohol, but I was satisfied with the yakitori here even without drinking. The skin skewers were crispy and fluffy, and the thigh meat was juicy and delicious. Watching the yakitori being grilled right in front of you is also exciting. My recommendation is the bonjiri. I have had bonjiri at many different places before, not just yakitori shops but also yakiniku restaurants, and this place's bonjiri surprised me. It was amazing! Fluffy and juicy, the best bonjiri I've ever had.

A yakitori restaurant near Kikugawa Station run by young staff. Despite having a relatively large number of seats, there was only one person in the kitchen and one person in the hall. I visited on a Sunday night, so they may have a better staff arrangement on weekdays. I tried the yakitori, ochazuke, and other dishes. I also had beer. The food had a very subtle and vague taste. However, the most notable thing was the extremely long waiting time for the food to be served. It was quite frustrating. Overall, I hope they improve in the future. Thank you for the delicious yakitori.

We purchased coupons in advance and visited the restaurant as a couple. This was our second visit, following visits to other branches. The set menu included cabbage appetizer, chicken hot pot, and ramen or porridge as a closer, all-you-can-drink for 1400 yen per person including tax. Of course, we also ordered additional skewers. The restaurant layout featured a central grill area with glass partitions, so there was no smoky smell. The service was provided by a few young handsome staff members, who had a clear and youthful attitude. However, there was one issue with the service that should not have happened. The additional skewers we ordered were as follows (prices excluding tax): white liver (180 yen), chicken tenderloin (180 yen), heart (120 yen), gizzard (180 yen), and chicken intestines (180 yen). The service was not particularly fast. The skewers were large in size. Among them, the chicken tenderloin was the most delicious in my opinion, as it is my favorite part. The white liver is also very tasty when cooked well. The chicken intestines had a slight off-flavor, so I think that's why they were seasoned with green onion miso. The hot pot was delicious, but the portion for two people was a bit small. However, thanks to the additional skewers, we felt satisfied. The only downside was that the table area was a bit small.
