Located about a 4-minute walk from Shimo Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, at the intersection of Shimo Heiwadori Shotengai and Kitamoto Street heading towards Akabane. I thought it looked like a tobacco shop showcase... and it turned out to be exactly that. The small interior has 2 two-person table seats and about 5 counter seats in front of the kitchen, but it's a bit tight. The staff are young, and there is a vibe of many regular customers. There was a drink menu posted on the door, and when I was looking at it, the staff came out to greet me and provide guidance. Since I was running out of time, I decided to get a takeout. It's not listed on the menu, but there is a ¥100 discount for takeout. I ordered a Yuzu Lemonade (¥300), but they didn't have it that day, so it became Honey Lemonade. They can make it hot or iced, and I chose hot. While waiting at the assigned seat, a regular customer at the counter struck up a conversation with me. The atmosphere was really nice. There was no awkwardness while waiting for my order. The cup was about 10cm in size, with 3 slices of lemon inside. I heard that you can eat the lemon when it's served. The sourness of the lemon combined with the gentle sweetness of honey was comforting. It makes me look forward to trying their Ginger or Yuzu flavors. If I'm in the area again, I would like to visit, but please be aware that the store's operating hours may have changed.

Exiting Shimo Station on the Namboku Line and walking north along Kitahon-dori towards Akabane Iwabuchi for about 5 minutes, you will come across a small cafe called "Cafe ing" on the left side of a signalized intersection. The cafe used to be a tobacco shop, and the original layout remains with a unique touch of adding a blackboard menu. Despite its small size, the cafe has a tasteful and cozy atmosphere that is quite relaxing. I visited for Sunday lunch and enjoyed a cafe menu item while sipping on a beer instead of coffee. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous, leaving me feeling satisfied. In addition to beer, they also offer wine and whiskey, making it a good spot for a casual drink before heading home. The cafe recently opened and has a hidden gem vibe, but given the limited dining options in the area, it is likely to become popular soon. They also offer takeout, so enjoying their cafe menu in a nearby park for a late lunch seems like a great idea.

I went there for the first time♪ The yakisoba had a slightly sweet flavor which was really delicious. The cheese omelette was so creamy! The kalbi sandwich was also delicious. I want to go back to this stylish cafe again.
