There is a deli shop at Sanryub Takasu store. I checked it out while searching for other shops in the same area, just to make sure it still exists and to use it while I'm there. Often, I come across store pages that are still up even though the store has closed down, so I wanted to confirm. As a result, the shop is still there and operating as of February 2023. I thought it was just a deli corner in a supermarket, but they also take orders for bento boxes and seem to operate independently. The checkout is done at the food register. They have a wide variety of items on display. I actually came around this area to eat ramen, so I decided to get some fried chicken to go instead of a bento box. There was a discount available too. I got the thigh piece (228 yen) and reheated it in the microwave for a late-night snack. It was soft, juicy, and not too tough, just the way I like my fried chicken. It's not too salty, but the seasoning is flavorful, so I wish I had cooked some rice to go with it. I think it would go well with rice. So, I'm looking forward to trying their fried chicken bento as well, which is priced in the 400 yen range and seems affordable.
