I went to lunch with a friend at an Italian restaurant that recently moved from Moritane Honcho 2-chome. The new location is in Kitakata 1-chome, just one street over from the old National Route 322. It's located on the left-hand side of the street, just past Seven-Eleven on the way from the National Hospital to MaxValu Jono store. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with three counter seats and four small tables for two. They offer three lunch courses: Course A for 1870 yen, Course B for 2200 yen, and Course C for 2970 yen. We reserved Course C, which includes an appetizer platter, soup, pasta, choice of meat or fish main dish, dessert, and coffee. The appetizer platter included a variety of dishes such as marinated red snapper and salmon, sautéed shrimp with miso, chicken liver and potato rillette, baked oysters gratin, fried suzuki and zucchini, and a cheesy quiche. Everything was delicious. The main dishes were a creamy pork belly and shiitake cream pasta, pan-seared sweetfish with américaine sauce, and roasted wagyu beef cheek with a red wine and orange juice sauce. The desserts were a creamy tiramisu and rich pistachio ice cream with figs. Overall, the food was well-seasoned and flavorful, with the exception of the slightly tough wagyu beef cheek. For 2970 yen, the Course C was a satisfying meal. On a later visit to celebrate a friend's discharge from the hospital, we again chose Course C. The appetizer platter included tuna and vegetable carpaccio, sweet pumpkin mousse with shrimp, tripe stew, baked oysters, fried pufferfish and zucchini, and a cheesy quiche. The soup was a light turnip soup, and the pasta was a fragrant shrimp and mushroom pomodoro with fettuccine. The main dishes were pan-seared sea bass with américaine sauce, and grilled beef ribs that were tender and juicy. We ended the meal with the same desserts as before and enjoyed a cup of coffee. The chef was very attentive and explained the dishes in detail. He even joked about the restaurant's relocation from Moritane Honcho. The quality of the food was excellent, and we had a great dining experience.

◆Atmosphere A cozy and stylish Italian restaurant. ◆Ordering Process Reservation required. Only course meals are available, with two different course options. Credit cards not accepted, only cash or PayPay. ◆Customer Base and Crowdedness It was the last table available. Families and couples were dining. ◆Duration of Stay Started at 18:33, dessert served at 19:59. ◆Customer Service All handled by the chef alone. ◆Menu I believe there were courses priced around ¥6000 and ¥3800, but please inquire by phone. ◆Parking There are two parking spots right in front of the restaurant. ◆Food Another satisfying dinner today! The drinks were also great (^-^)

I visited this restaurant for the first time after it moved from its previous location. The interior had about four small tables for two, which made it feel quite cramped compared to before. As a result, the conversation from the neighboring table was quite loud. The taste of the food was still delicious, but the pasta seemed overcooked and too soft, which was disappointing. Overall, the restaurant scored quite high. The waitress who brought the dishes would explain them, but I found it odd that she only faced my companion while doing so. Due to the noise from the neighboring table, I couldn't hear anything she said.

Next is Kitakyushu City after Hokkaido. I wonder how much I've spent on transportation expenses... Anyway, today I went to a place I've been curious about for a while. - Atmosphere: There are 4 two-person tables and 3 counter seats. It's a bit small and casual. - Ordering process: It's reservation-only, so make sure to call and confirm even on the same day. It's easier to get a seat if you go for the 11:30 slot. - Customer base, crowd: It was full around 12:30. Mostly couples and groups of women. - Duration: Entered at 11:30, received appetizers, bread, butter at 11:49, soup at 12:03, main dish at 12:12, dessert and drinks at 12:27. - Service: The staff was friendly. It seemed like they were handling everything alone. - Menu: There are 3 lunch courses - A for around ¥1820, B with pasta and meat as the main dish for ¥2200, and C which requires reservation by the day before for around ¥2700 plus tax. - Parking: There are 2-3 parking spots right in front. Longer cars might have trouble fitting. - Food: The appetizers were good except for the fig and ham, which was a bit mediocre. The squid gratin was delicious. The soup was corn soup, rich and with noticeable corn kernels. The bread and butter were tasty, with just the right amount of salt in the butter. The pasta was shrimp cream sauce pasta. The dessert was tiramisu and pistachio ice cream. Everything was delicious, and I think the cost performance is quite good!

The old store of Shuuen closed temporarily in March. On April 17th, I had lunch at Taizo, which reopened in the north. The new store requires reservations for both lunch and dinner. There is parking space for 2 cars in front of the store, and there is a coin parking nearby if it's full. The interior is more compact compared to the old store, with 3 counter seats and 8 table seats. There are no raised seating areas like in the old store, so it may not be suitable for families with children. The lunch menu offers 3 options priced at 1700, 2000, and 2700 yen (excluding tax). The 2700 yen lunch requires reservation by the previous day. This time, I ordered the B lunch, which includes appetizer, bread, pasta, main dish, drink, and dessert. The A lunch includes either pasta or a main dish, with soup. The food continues to be consistently delicious, with no disappointments. The bread rolls are still refillable (laughs). The main dish, roasted pork belly, is lightly seared after being simmered, resulting in a tender texture that can be easily cut with chopsticks. The combination with the ratatouille-style sauce is also very nice. For dessert, there was pistachio ice cream and chocolate cake pie. Overall, I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
