Due to circumstances, I had to watch a Tokyo FC game and rushed in for a quick drink before heading home. I had an English iced tea with raspberry, blueberry, orange, kiwi, and apple juice mixed with black tea. It looked very tropical. The restaurant was quite busy and the streets were starting to fill up with people again.

I visited on a regular Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the Ginza Corridor Street was not crowded, and HUB seemed to be operating leisurely on weekdays. It was convenient to be able to make a reservation on Tabelog. The fish and chips were of high quality. The manager and staff provided excellent customer service. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

After a drinking party, we decided to come to HUB for more drinks. The HUB in Ginza was almost full even late at night. I ordered a HUB Cool Cider Jumbo for 560 yen. They were showing a soccer game which made it a great place for casual drinking. Even at last order, more customers kept coming in. It's really popular here!

HUB is a chain of British-style pubs, and it is always crowded. There are several HUB stores in different locations. The basic style is cash on delivery and standing. In my local area of Ikebukuro, there are about 5 or 6 HUB stores, and I occasionally visit them. There is also a HUB in Asakusa where jazz live performances are held. The HUB on Corridor Street in Ginza was extremely crowded, almost like sardines in a can, so I ended up drinking at the counter near the entrance. In places like this, I think the atmosphere is more important than the taste. I visited around 11 PM with a few friends, and we avoided the crowded area in the back and sat in a relatively cool spot near the entrance, enjoying our drinks. At some point, we joined another group and headed to a different pub. It seemed to be a time when adult flirting was common, as there were many groups of girls drinking for free, kind of like reverse cash on delivery, relying on other groups. It was an eye-opening experience about the depth of British-style pub culture. (Laughs)

During the Rugby World Cup, I mainly watch rugby games even when I'm not at the stadium. I watched the qualifiers in Yokohama, but today I watched South Africa vs Italy at an English-style pub in Ginza while eating fish and chips and enjoying some drinks. Inside the stadium, I had Heineken, and outside the stadium, I had Guinness!

After finishing the first party at Toriyoshi for yakitori, my colleague asked if I knew about HUB. I said I didn't, so we decided to go check it out since it was nearby. It was around 9 pm, but the place was packed! It was standing room only, with no space to move. We managed to secure half a table and just had one drink. The atmosphere was so lively that we left after just one drink. I would like to visit when it's a bit less crowded next time.

Mr. Hub at Corridor Street is always full of people. It's totally fine if it's a bit crowded. I paid with cash and ordered a Gin Rickey this time. I've been watching my calories lately, so I prefer Gin Rickeys or Vodka Rickeys. Thank you for the meal!

The atmosphere is nice. It's on the first floor so it's easy to enter. Seems like a good place for meeting up and casual conversation.

I visited the HUB in Corridor on my way from Ginza to Shinbashi. It is a famous establishment that is always crowded on weekdays. It is the busiest HUB I know of. It was so packed that I couldn't even walk normally. I thought it wouldn't be as crowded on a Saturday, but I was wrong. I ordered a HUB lemon sour and a champagne priced at around 2,000 yen displayed on the counter. The HUB lemon sour was not just a lemon added to the drink, but they actually squeezed fresh lemon into it, which was great. I wanted to take a picture, but it was so crowded that it was impossible to avoid getting people in the shot, like being on a 150% full train. I left after 5 minutes due to the high population density, but my friend was shocked. With such a high number of customers every day, I wonder about their sales.

I watched the WBC game. It was super crowded but so much fun!

During Obon holiday in August 2018, around 6:20 pm, we visited our third bar. Surprisingly, it was quite crowded for Obon. We use this bar as a pre-drink spot when we come to Corridor Street or drink nearby. It's perfect for killing time. We ordered something that looked beautiful ❤️ based on appearance. We were able to drink for 270 yen during Happy Hour. It's a great place for casual drinking. Very convenient!

I visited HUB in Ginza Corridor after finishing work. First, I secured a seat and went to the counter with my wallet to order a tower beer. The tower beer is indeed long. We all cheers together. For beer snacks, we had chicken & chips and jacket potatoes. Fried chicken and potato fries are the best beer snacks, with a firm texture and delicious taste. The jacket potatoes with anchovy mayo sauce were a great match. We enjoyed our time. Thank you for the meal.

I met up with friends at a pub before dinner, had a pre-dinner drink, chatted a bit, then we put on our coats and scarves and walked together to the restaurant where we had a reservation. It reminded me of my time in Somerset, England, where I used to go out to dinner like this. The memories of past experiences, like playing skittles, came flooding back. The images from the past connected in my mind like a panorama. I can't remember the exact details of those days, but the feeling of nostalgia was strong. The pub had a British atmosphere, but the menu featured popular Japanese dishes instead of traditional British fare like fish and chips. I bought the nuts with the most generous portion at the counter, showing my thrifty side. Even though I joked about ordering a large gin and tonic, I actually stuck to my non-alcoholic drink. Another day of staying sober!

Ginza and Yurakucho area were the most fashionable and popular areas in the Showa era, especially after the war. Even now, when you go to Ginza, you can feel a unique atmosphere and it's a fun city to explore. The area under the train tracks, known as the "Corridor Street," is well-maintained and filled with popular restaurants and bars. One of the establishments in this area is the HUB chain, which is a familiar spot for those who enjoy drinking. The HUB in Ginza Corridor Street is open and allows you to enjoy your drinks while soaking in the lively atmosphere outside. They often have sports programs playing, adding to the vibrant ambiance. It's a great place for a final drink of the night. The menu mainly consists of light meals, but it's satisfying after a meal. It's a casual bar where you can easily drop in.
