It's really reasonable, isn't it? No charge is really great! There are over 50 stores nationwide. I actually didn't know about it until recently. When I looked it up, I found out that it's under the same management as "HUB"! "HUB" opened its first store in my hometown Kobe, a pub chain that was a subsidiary of Daiei at the time. It has gone through various ownership transfers and sales, and now it's the current "Kabushiki Kaisha Hub." The majority shareholder seems to be "Royal Holdings," so I'll mention that. So, it's a pub with a similar style to "HUB." The Irish pub-style layout and cash-on-delivery style are exactly the same. The first time I used this style of pub was at "HUB." The first store in Kobe Sannomiya was next to Zent House (now maybe Uniqlo?). At that time, a famous person came to drink... It was the popular Hanshin player, not Colonel Sanders! My memory is correct if... Kobe seemed to have a lot of foreign customers at "HUB." Among them was the Colonel! By the way, isn't Colonel Sanders already deceased? His smile was very impressive... he didn't look like a "Red Ogre" at all. Speaking of which, wasn't Manuel also called "Red Ogre"? This review is turning into a review of foreign players! So, I visited "82ALE HOUSE," which is part of the same group. This time, I visited the Shibuya Miyamasuzaka store. It's a nice distance from the station, and it's in a quiet location. The exterior is British style, perfect for a gentleman like me! Well, I'm far from a gentleman, but even someone like me can easily use "82ALE HOUSE," which is a good thing. However, since I visited an English-style pub, I thought I should have a single malt whiskey. There was a super deal of a "Tasting Set" for 1,000 yen, so I chose the set from the Islay island, the holy land of malt whiskey. It's a small island with an area the size of Sado Island and a population of only about 4,000, but it has eight distilleries. I chose three Islay island whiskeys: "Bowmore 12 years," "Ardbeg 10 years," and "Caol Ila 12 years." Oh, the taste... I don't usually drink single malt whiskey, so I was in tears. I was knocked out by the high alcohol content and strong smoky aroma. I should have chosen a more normal set. Later, I found out that Islay island single malt whiskey has a unique taste. Since a chaser alone couldn't help, I chose "China Blue" and "V.S.O Sea Breeze" to share. I also had a little snack: "Smoked Cheese with Iburi Gakko" and "Liver Paste," both for 350 yen. Adding a "Speyside Mojito," it's only 3,300 yen, isn't it cheap? Well, the atmosphere is decent, but I thought the service was quite good. I was surprised when I was escorted out of the store at the end. Since it's cash-on-delivery, there's no bill. That means they're working while keeping an eye on the customers. I don't know if other stores do the same, but I hope they continue with this kind of service.
