I purchased a salad bowl from "With Green," a salad bowl specialty shop on the B2F of Otemachi Building. I had always seen Otemachi ladies lining up to buy lunch there, but I had never felt inclined to do so myself, thinking, "Can a salad bowl alone fill up a man's stomach?" Today, feeling like having a healthy lunch, I decided to give it a try. There are 9 menu options with photos, including various toppings like herb chicken, gizzards, red chili chicken, steamed chicken, minced chicken keema curry, ban ban ji, and low-temperature roasted pork. Among them, there are 3 options with brown rice. I chose the "Domestic Chicken Minced Chicken Keema Curry Salad M 1,220 yen" with brown rice. It includes onions, apples, carrots, brown rice, and keema curry on top of the salad. You can also choose the dressing, and I went with the recommended honey milk. The staff asked if they could mix it for me, and I agreed without knowing what that meant. They mixed it in a stainless steel bowl and put it in a round paper case. The keema curry is placed on top of the vegetables, and they also included a small piece of bread on the side. However, everything is quite pricey. Each item costs over 1,000 yen. The Otemachi ladies queuing up all seem to have the budget for it, or maybe they are just health-conscious (laughs). When I opened the lid of the salad bowl, a pleasant aroma of keema curry wafted out. It was already mixed, so I could eat it with a fork right away. The feeling of eating a lot of vegetables was quite satisfying. There was a small amount of brown rice mixed in as well. I enjoyed it while mixing in the keema curry.
