On my first visit, there were tempting menu options like Coal Ramen and Vegetable Ramen, but I went for the basic Ramen at 650 yen! You can choose between thin noodles or medium-thick noodles, and I went with the recommended thin noodles at normal firmness. The noodles were very thin and coated well with the soup. The soup was a slightly thick and rich potage style, very delicious! I also tried an extra serving of noodles for 200 yen, opting for firm noodles. Since the noodles were very thin, I preferred the firm texture. I'm interested in trying the medium-thick noodles next time!

1. Coal ramen 850 yen 2. Vegetable ramen 900 yen (limited to 10 servings) 3. Ramen 650 yen 4. Fried rice 650 yen 5. Extra noodles (thin) 200 yen This was my first time trying coal ramen, and I was surprised to see the black mayu oil covering the surface of the soup. It looked intense but was surprisingly light. The vegetable ramen had stir-fried vegetables simmered in the soup, making it mild and easy to eat with a good portion size. It's more like Hakata style ramen rather than the typical Omura ramen, and it's quite delicious, especially among Hakata ramen. The fried rice was flavorful and had a nice texture. Today, I felt the saltiness was slightly stronger, which I didn't notice last time. It's nice that you can choose between thin and medium-thick noodles. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the treat!

I entered the restaurant for the first time because the flashy sign and easy-to-park parking lot caught my attention. I ordered the Coal Ramen, which is a specialty of Omuta, and was surprised to see the pitch-black soup. I thought the noodles would be black, but it was actually the soup. The rich and delicious soup paired well with the moderately thick noodles, and I enjoyed it. The gyoza side dish was also delicious.

The lunch set A (ramen and half-fried rice) is 750 yen. The restaurant has moved right next to its original location. It has a stylish izakaya-like atmosphere with spacious seating. The ramen today was unusually salty, almost like salt-flavored. My friend, who loves salty food, also commented, "It's a bit too salty today." However, the fried rice tasted the same as before. On a rainy Wednesday at noon, the restaurant was already fully packed.

It's like Kurume ramen. It's not Omuta ramen, I think. The soup is pork bone-based but light with a rich flavor. The noodles are soft and not my favorite (I ordered them firm). The fried rice has a nice smoky flavor and is delicious.

Hello, I'm the gourmet yokai Hagekappa! Today I visited the ramen shop "Enryu" in Omuta! I had their Coal Ramen, which was delicious with a strong garlic flavor. I also recommend their curry, which is very popular. Make sure to check it out!

When I went back home, I usually only visited places like Toyo-ken, Fukuryu-ken, Kokaen, and Ginrei, but this time I tried a new place with a flashy sign nearby. They seemed to have stopped serving Champon, so I ordered Ramen, Chashu Ramen, and Gyoza instead. The Chashu Ramen bowl seemed smaller than a regular Ramen bowl, which made me wonder if they skimped on the noodles. I didn't ask why though. It was advertised as Omuta Ramen, but the noodles were thin like Hakata Ramen. I think locals from Omuta would enjoy it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to have it again when visiting. However, I think the quality of the Ramen was good and it was quite tasty.

Daigata Ramen is proudly displayed. This sign has quite an intimidating presence... I peek inside quietly, thinking if the owner has a tough face, I'll have to run away... Slowly... "Welcome!" I am immediately noticed but greeted warmly. There are even customers with small children, creating a lively and friendly atmosphere. Well, that's natural (^^ Coal Ramen [¥750] is as dark as can be. The black garlic oil forms layers covering the surface of the broth. A sheet of seaweed and two slices of chashu are attached to the side of the bowl, with a boiled egg floating in the center. It is said to be made with a base of 100% pork broth. The strong umami flavor is what makes this menu special. The noodles are thin and have a supple texture with a clear bite. The fragrant black garlic oil and the richness of the pork combine to create a rich deliciousness that can be enjoyed until the last bite. Despite the appearance, it is sure to become addictive! With its atmosphere and deliciousness, this ramen shop will surely be loved by the community for a long time to come... even though the storefront may be a bit intimidating (^^ If you are coming by car from the Handachi direction, be careful as there is a no right turn even though the parking lot is right in front of you.

Thin noodles. The soup is rich but not fishy. The soup is slightly sweet. I wonder if the fried rice is cooked with lard? At first, everyone was delighted, saying "It tastes like yakiniku and it's delicious!" but it was too rich and we got tired of it halfway through. However, the portion was just right. The tatami room is clean and nice. They are kind to small children. You can use PayPay.

Today, I came to Omuta for work. It's a calm coal mining town near my hometown of Yanagawa. At lunchtime, I searched for a nearby ramen place and "Enryu Ramen" popped up, so I decided to give it a try. When I parked, I realized it was actually in the parking lot of a Seven Eleven. I parked my car and went inside, where I saw a sumo wrestler's autograph. I sat at the counter and looked at the menu. They had a spicy option called Ojyama Ramen, but what caught my eye was the Coal Ramen. Probably because it's a coal mining town. I ordered the Coal Ramen, which had a rich pork bone soup with burnt garlic and chili oil. There were garlic chips to add, enhancing the garlic flavor. Personally, I think the staff is also beautiful. I recommend this ramen to those who like rich, garlicky flavors.

Located along a major prefectural road in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture, across the street from the "Drug Mori" discount store in Daikokumachi. This ramen shop is a small establishment that I stumbled upon by chance, as it had been a long time since I last traveled on this road. I decided to stop by for a late lunch on a weekday. The parking space next to the shop has a sign saying "Not for the ramen shop's customers," perhaps because many people mistakenly park there. I made the same mistake myself (oops). The shop has a small interior with counter seats and three tables. When I visited, there were no other customers. The menu is displayed on the wall, featuring a variety of noodle dishes such as garlic ramen and shiitake mushroom ramen, all reasonably priced around 500 yen. They also offer unique options like Orodake Mountain Ramen, which is extremely spicy. I was surprised to see miso ramen and soy sauce ramen on the menu, along with champon and yakisoba. They even have rice bowls, curry, and dishes like red chicken tataki and charcoal-grilled items. It made me crave a beer! The menu is quite extensive (see menu photos for details). Since it was my first time at this shop, I decided to try the default ramen. The 500 yen ramen had a slightly cloudy tonkotsu broth with a simple and mildly savory taste. The aroma of tonkotsu was subtly present in the visually simple bowl. It seemed like a typical Omuta ramen. Personally, I found the saltiness level just right and not too overpowering. The straight thin noodles were topped with two slices of chashu, roasted seaweed, and chopped green onions. The noodles were slightly firm, which I liked, and everything came together nicely. Adding garlic chips from the condiment tray enhanced the flavor wonderfully, reminding me of Tamana ramen. With such a diverse menu, I look forward to trying more dishes in the future. I've found a hidden gem! I'll definitely be back. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
