Thank you for always viewing my posts m(_ _)m If you like it, I would be happy if you could bookmark the store by clicking the "Save Store" button m(_ _)m My wife's Kyoto souvenir part 2! She chose chiffon cakes because they looked delicious! The address of Natur Shiro Moto Main Store is 1-2-1 Yamate Higashi, Kyotanabe City, Kyoto Prefecture, a short distance from Matsui Yamate Station on the R Gakken Toshi Line. Closed on Tuesdays, business hours are from 10:00 to 19:00. Free cooling packs are available for up to two hours. According to my wife, the total cost for Pistachio Framboise (360 yen), Orange (360 yen), and Strawberry (360 yen) was 1,080 yen. We will share and enjoy them in the sunlight while taking photos. First, we have a common chiffon cake! Made with 100% rice flour from Kumamoto Prefecture, the "Rice Flour Chiffon" has a chewy texture and delicate melt-in-your-mouth quality, with the added fragrance of rice oil, creating a delicious and gentle treat. Pistachio Framboise has pistachio cream on top of framboise! The fluffy chiffon cake is filled with plenty of custard cream, making it easy to eat. Highly recommended for pistachio lovers. Orange has orange on top of the cream! The fluffy chiffon cake is also filled with plenty of custard cream. The acidity of the orange and both creams complement each other well. Strawberry has strawberry on top of the cream! The fluffy chiffon cake is also filled with plenty of custard cream. The sweetness of the season's last strawberries pairs well with both creams. The quality is high. Next time, I will visit the store myself and write a thorough review. Husband: Thank you for the delicious meal! I will come back again! _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Thank you very much for reading until the end m(_ _)m I hope that my gourmet information can be of some help to you. I have been going to Shiromoto since it opened, but recently I have been going to Kinmeidai more often, so it's been a while since I visited the main store. The small shop is not crowded, so you can take your time looking around. I tried a cake made with chiffon cake this time. It was fluffy and delicious, but it disappeared in no time (laughs). Chiffon cake is a signature menu item, but the portion is large, so I think it's also a good choice.

I purchased a popular bakery's assortment of baked goods as a gift, and we enjoyed them together at the recipient's place. The assortment includes 6 types of baked goods and costs around 1400 yen. It's a popular choice for gifts as you get to enjoy a variety of popular baked goods. The bakery offers a wide variety of baked goods in-store as well. Thank you for the delicious treats!

The caramel croissants, a Valentine's Day item at this shop, have been released again this year. I went to purchase them right away. The caramel croissants come in a pack of 3 for 1404 yen. This year, the package has changed and the price has increased. There are also packs of 5 and 10 available. The more you buy, the cheaper the price per croissant. The taste remains delicious as always. Thank you for the treat.

Today, I went to Matsuiyamate in the southern part of Kyoto Prefecture. I just stopped by Patisserie Nature Shiromoto's "Kinmeidai branch" and now I am visiting the "main store". Patisserie Nature Shiromoto is a popular Western confectionery shop located in front of JR Matsuiyamate Station. There are three stores of Nature Shiromoto, and this one is the "main store". Compared to the Kinmeidai branch, the main store gives a slightly smaller impression. However, there were plenty of Western sweets lined up. I bought a limited edition Christmas product and headed home. The packaging of the Stollen had Christmas colors. Stollen, a German sweet bread, is traditionally sliced and eaten in its home country. The dough is filled with plenty of dried fruits. The sugar on the outside was pleasantly sweet, and I enjoyed it with the dried fruits (^-^) It's not often that you get the chance to enjoy a whole Stollen at once. I savored it over a few days.

Last month, I went to a patisserie that I had been wanting to visit based on recommendations from a few followers. It is famous locally, and even my friends living in northern Osaka knew about it! Despite the Costco traffic, I decided to go on a weekend afternoon, and of course, there was a line. The café was almost full too. It seems like the crowds are increasing these days. Since it was my first visit, I went for the traditional options. I got a Mont Blanc for 510 yen, a cream puff for 280 yen, and a chestnut Danish for 220 yen. Someone had mentioned that the Danish was delicious, so I decided to try it, but I ended up getting full after the Mont Blanc and cream puff, so I saved it for the next day and reheated it. Still, it was delicious. The Mont Blanc was my favorite, just the right amount of sweetness and cream. The cream puff was also good, and you can see from the plate next to the Mont Blanc that it's quite a sizeable portion! The custard cream was not too sweet and very easy to eat, plus it's great value for money, so I'll definitely be going back for more. It's just that you might get full quickly, so it might end up replacing your lunch (laughs). I'll definitely visit again, maybe as a side trip after Costco!

Do you know chiffon cake? It was invented by Harry Baker (1884-1974), an insurance salesman and cooking enthusiast from Los Angeles, California, in 1927, based on the angel food cake made with only egg whites. The cake got its name from its light and airy texture, resembling chiffon fabric. Baker's chiffon cake became popular, with orders coming in from Hollywood celebrities' parties and the Brown Derby restaurant. The recipe was a mystery for a long time until it was revealed that vegetable oil (salad oil) was added to the batter. Chiffon cakes are baked in a special pan with a hole in the center, known as an "Angel Food Cake Pan." The cakes became a huge trend in the US after the recipe was published in 1950. In Japan, chiffon cake was popularized by Yuji Iwata, who perfected the original recipe in 1976. Since then, chiffon cake has become one of the most common Western sweets in Japan. The reviewer purchased two types of chiffon cakes and praised their delicious taste, cleanliness of the store, convenient parking, attractive prices, and expressed a desire to return if in the area, giving a high recommendation rating.

I arrived at this shop a little after 3 o'clock on a holiday. There were about 3 customers already there, but more people kept coming in. I bought a plain chiffon cake, separate whipped cream, and a croissant. The chiffon cake was fluffy and if I was hungry, I could have eaten the whole thing.

There are three patisseries in front of Matsuiyamate Station, and I always get lost in choosing, but this time I bought souvenirs for someone I am grateful for at "Nature Shiromoto". A friend of mine also loves this shop. Inside the store, they have a variety of baked goods, sweets, jams, and even bread. In the showcase, there are not many, but a wide variety of cakes that look delicious, with cakes around 500 yen. I bought lemon cake and financiers as souvenirs, and also treated myself a little ♡ Croissant Ozymandias 270 yen - A shocking croissant with plenty of rum, it's like a grown-up Ozymandias! It goes beyond just bread and enters the realm of sweets. It smells good even at room temperature, but when I ate it slightly chilled, the cream flavor tightened up and I enjoyed a different taste. It's definitely good with alcohol (*>ω<*) ♡ Mini Chiffon Chocolate Nut 400 yen - A fluffy chiffon cake in a cup with plenty of custard cream and chocolate cream. Everyone, kids and adults alike, love it (੭ ˙꒳˙ )੭♡ That's the taste. Since it's chiffon, you can eat it all in one go even if it's big.

I received a lot of baked sweets as souvenirs. I got Florentine, Leaf Pie, Lemon Cake, Chocolate Financier, Lemon Sablé, and Palmier. The big Palmier had a crispy surface and a soft inside. I enjoyed them as snacks little by little. Thank you for the treat!

I visited the delicious cake and bread shop "Nature Shiromoto Main Store" in front of Matsuiyamate Station. This shop has been popular for its tasty cakes since the days when Matsuiyamate Station was surrounded by a grove. I got some cookies as a gift this time. When I say things like this, I feel like I'll be eliminated by Matsui Yamate, but it's really strange why such a high-level restaurant is located in a residential area in Kyoto. Well, maybe it's relatively affordable to operate here because they're doing it. This time, I had the "Chocolate and Chestnut Cake," "Pistachio and Raspberry Parfait," "Banana Shoe Caramel," and from the bread selection, an "Anpan"! It was all under 2000 yen. "Chocolate and Chestnut" was fluffy and delicious! Unfortunately, it was too fluffy and collapsed by the time I took it home, but there were plenty of chestnuts and cream with a sweet chocolate flavor. Taste-wise, it was the best this time. "Pistachio" was intricately made. The chocolate mousse, pistachio cream, and berries all complemented each other elegantly. It had an elegant taste for adults. I prefer a stronger pistachio flavor, but the balance was good. "Banana Shoe Caramel" had a sturdy shoe with plenty of cream! It was caramelized like creme brulee, giving it a crispy texture. The banana was ripe and fragrant, making it delicious as well. It had an original touch and was tasty. The "Anpan" had delicious bread dough! It was filled with strained bean paste, chunky bean paste, and a large piece of butter. It was generous in size. I would like to try more bread from here. Shiromoto-san never disappoints. Thank you for the meal.

I searched on Tabelog for a shop that I can stop by on my way from Iga City to Nara City. I found a shop that caught my eye with cookies packed in a French cookie tin that looked delicious. Let's go buy this! There are a few parking spaces next to the shop, which is very convenient. The shop is easy to spot as it is located along the street with a blue tent as a landmark. The shop has a bright and pleasant atmosphere, and on that day, there were three floor staff members. I purchased two chiffon cakes, as they seemed to be confident in them, and also bought some whipped cream to go with them. I also bought a large-sized tin of French cookies, which looked cute and packed with cookies that my wife wanted to try. Additionally, I couldn't resist buying one cream puff that looked delicious. I enjoyed all the items at home. The chiffon cake was fluffy, soft, and delicious. The whipped cream was a perfect addition to it. I usually don't eat chiffon cake because it tends to take away all the moisture in my mouth, but this one was different. The softness and sweetness were just to my liking, and I would definitely come back for more. When I opened the French cookie tin, the cookies inside were indeed cute. My wife loved them, but I was satisfied with my Moonlight cookies, so I wasn't too interested. The cream puff was delicious, with a crispy pastry that might cut your mouth if you're not careful. What's really good about it? The cream was very tasty, with a perfect balance of sweetness. I've been eating a lot of cream puffs lately, but this one ranks high. Overall, all the items were reasonably priced, and the taste was exceptional. The only downside was that the shop never answered the phone. It may be because they were busy, but it made me a bit anxious in case of sudden closure or lack of the desired items. Despite that, everything else was great - the price, the taste - all excellent. If you're passing by on your way to Nara, make sure to stop by. It was a delicious meal.

My favorite cookie tin. I found out that they are also sold at Naturelle Shiromoto and purchased them. This cookie tin contains traditional sweets from various regions of France. The silver tin even has the shape of France! Inside the tin, there are explanations of the baked goods along with the regions, so I enjoyed them while looking at that.
- Biscuit de Champagne: The surface has a sticky texture like candy and when you bite into it, it has a crispy texture that melts in your mouth. It has a sweet and sour raspberry flavor along with a cotton candy-like sweetness. This one seems to be prone to humidity, so it's best to eat it sooner rather than later.
- Galette Bretonne: It has a thickness to it, but it crumbles and has a crispy texture. The smell of butter is also nice.
- Dofinowa: It looks like a dinner roll. When you eat it, there is a sticky caramel-like filling with walnuts inside. The caramel-like filling has a bit of bitterness to it. Is the French version of Engadine called Dofinowa?
- Caramel Alsacian: The bottom is a pie crust, and the top is a caramelized almond slice layer that resembles a Florentine. It is said to have a sour jam sandwiched between the layers, but the pie-like part is thick and has a strong flavor, so the jam is barely reflected in the taste.
- Navette: A boat-shaped sablé with a lot of flour. There are almonds in the middle, and the dough has a slightly refreshing orange sweetness. The texture is not exactly crunchy, but it has a slightly powdery feel and a dull crispy texture.
- Pain d'Epices d'Alsace: Quite hard, more like a crunchy texture than crispy. It has a slightly refreshing anise flavor. This one might be a matter of personal preference. This assortment of traditional French cookies offers a different, rustic deliciousness compared to typical cookie tins. It was enjoyable to discover and savor these baked goods.

There is a popular set at the popular pastry shop Natur Shiromoto in Kyotanabe, where you can enjoy a variety of baked goods. You can choose 2 to 4 pieces of 6 different types of pastries for 1,400 yen, making it a reasonable way to enjoy the taste of Natur Shiromoto.

Shiromoto-san came here because the Kinmei-dai store had a long line. He smoothly got in at the right time. He bought three types of cakes and cookies, all of which were delicious with a good balance of sweetness, as expected from a representative of sweets from southern Kyoto. I especially liked the pistachio cream. I want to visit various cake shops that are starting to open soon. And I'll come back to buy the Camel Baum cake here again!!!

First visit. I originally wanted Baumkuchen, but the size was too big so I gave up. I bought chocolate, macarons, and baked goods instead. The financiers were not too sweet and had a strong buttery flavor, which was good, but I wish they were a bit more crispy. For those who like soft financiers, they might enjoy it. The chocolate was very delicious, but I would be happy if they could make it a bit smaller.

Every year, the flagship product of the annual Valentine's Day items. I confirmed the start of sales by phone this year and visited. ☆ Caramel Croquant 3 pieces \950 5 pieces \1500 10 pieces \2500 tax included I will purchase for everyone to eat at work tomorrow. It's an item that can only be eaten once a year until Valentine's Day, so early purchase is best. I think there are more at the Kinmeidai store, the second store, than at the main store. It's a delicious item, so if you're interested, please try it! There is also a membership card that accumulates points. I took a picture of the exterior the next day.

During a trip from Kyoto to Nara, I made a stop along the way. The chef at this place had trained at "Henri Charpentier" for 18 years and also studied in Luxembourg. Unfortunately, the main store did not have a cafe, but the staff kindly directed me to another location where I could get some pastries to go. I bought the following items: 1. Leaf pie for 213 yen - beautifully layered and held up well until I got home. 2. Shushu Baum for 222 yen - a moist and delicious Baumkuchen. 3. Florentine for 200 yen. 4. Cocoa Sablé for 93 yen. 5. Almond Sablé for 93 yen. The exterior and interior of the shop were stylish, and the prices were very reasonable. The store was decorated for Halloween, adding a festive touch.

In Kyoto, "Naturel Shiromoto" offers "French Cookies" by Henri Charpentier and Shiromoto's own cookies, who previously worked as a pastry chef at C Cube. You can enjoy 8 different flavors inspired by various regions in France. Champagne, Alsace, Brittany, Alps, Lorraine, Provence, Pyrenees - each cookie has a unique texture, some are crispy, some are crunchy, and some have a hint of anise. It's a wonderful performance.
