This is a yakitori restaurant located in Namba, Osaka, with a counter that can accommodate about 8 people and a second floor that can probably seat 6-8 people. I visited around 8:30 pm during the Obon holiday and it was already full with 2 groups waiting. There were more than 5 groups lined up afterwards. Both those waiting and those dining were mostly foreigners, with menus available in Chinese and English. The yakitori was delicious and reasonably priced. They also had junmai ginjo sake, which made the meal enjoyable. The staff at the counter were friendly. Overall, it's a good value casual yakitori restaurant in Amerikamura.

This restaurant is open early in the evening until late at night, which is very convenient. The staff members are from various countries and are very friendly, making it fun to chat with them. The menu offers unique dishes that are quite appealing, making it easy to overindulge in drinks. Even early in the evening, the counter is crowded with many people, and the second floor tatami seating area quickly fills up with customers.

I accidentally walked into this cafe to kill some time. They had a special on highballs from 4:00 to 6:00, so I decided to have some veggies to keep it healthy. I focus on "eating to lose weight" and enjoy posting on my food blog. My current weight is 41.9kg, aiming for 40.9kg by October. Check out my Instagram too! ID: @kanae.0402. Thank you!

From skewers to offal dishes, this place is full of dishes that go well with alcohol. And their soba noodles at the end are delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't try it this time due to other plans. I'll have to come back for a rematch. #Hakata grilled skewers #America-mura gourmet #white offal #soba noodles #izakaya gourmet

On this day, I went to a casual drinking party with friends, so we decided to visit the Amerikamura store! The staff there already remembered us, which made us really happy. We were seated at the counter as usual, and I ordered my favorite sweet potato shochu on the rocks. We ordered the following dishes to share: Black pork shumai (209 yen), Grilled yam with soy sauce (187 yen per piece), and Egg soup (418 yen). The grilled shumai and yam were easy to share with my friend since they were served off the skewers. And the fluffy egg soup was the perfect way to end the meal after drinking. We just kept drinking sweet potato shochu all night, enjoying the food and the great service from the staff. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the manager's charming smile made the experience even better. It was a fun night, and I will definitely continue to visit this place. Thank you for the delicious meal! ♥(・∀・)♥

This day, we went to a yakiniku restaurant and then to another place before that, so it was actually our third visit of the day with 3 people. Before going, we called to confirm and they said they were open, so we decided to go. We were guided to the second floor for the first time, and the stairs were a bit steep, so we had to be careful. It seemed like they had recently renovated, so I wonder if they made the stairs less steep. In the case of the second floor seating, we wrote our orders on a paper on the table and clipped it onto a transparent tube on the wall. It reminded me of an air shooter. We ordered quail bacon, tsukune, eringi mushrooms, edamame, and tomatoes. I wonder who ate the tsukune sauce and tomatoes. The second floor seating was great for a casual drink and was very convenient. Thank you for the meal!

Third stop on the food crawl. Saw this place a few times while out late at night. Decided to check it out! The first floor has a counter, and the second floor has tatami seating. Be careful on the steep stairs on your way out (lol). You order everything except the first drink by writing it on a paper at your table, then clip it onto a clear tube on the wall to send it down. It reminded me of those air shooters. The food was delicious - quail bacon, tsukune, eringi mushrooms, edamame with stems, and tomatoes. Thanks for the meal!

On this day, my friend wanted to meet a cute female store clerk, so we decided to visit the restaurant. The reason for the visit doesn't really matter, right? We didn't take any photos of the exterior or the cheers, but we tried various dishes.
- White pork intestine sashimi (550 yen): I ordered this because it was delicious last time. I love pork intestine, and the white pork intestine here is always delicious, so I highly recommend it.
- Specialty "shiro" (154 yen)
- Tsukune (297 yen per skewer)
- Young corn wrapped in shiso and pork (264 yen per skewer)
- Homemade sausage (187 yen)
- Black pork shumai (209 yen)
You can order skewers individually, so you can choose your favorite items freely. I chose the tsukune and young corn, both of which were delicious. I really like the unique texture of young corn, and the combination with meat and shiso is perfect. Another surprisingly tasty dish was the shumai. It has a crispy surface, which is really good.
- Baked potato salad (429 yen): Warm potato salad with corned beef inside, topped with cheese and baked. A new and unique potato salad that I haven't tried elsewhere. I enjoyed picking at it as a side dish.
There was a new staff member that day, but I don't remember much about them. I always have a great time chatting with everyone there. Thank you for the enjoyable experience, and I will continue to visit the restaurant in the future. Thank you for the meal! ♥

This day, I went to Batton Yokato with a friend after a long time♪ Why? Because we were interested in the cute female staff there, of course! We toasted with Toribii and tried various dishes. Here are some of the things we tried:
- Smoked pork cartilage (572 yen): The cartilage was chewy and had a nice smoky flavor. This is a great dish to enjoy with drinks.
- Chicken skewers (154 yen each): The staff recommended these, and they were indeed a hit. A must-try at this restaurant.
- Homemade meatballs (297 yen each)
- Grilled yam with soy sauce (187 yen each)
- Quail wrapped in bacon (231 yen)
The homemade meatballs had a satisfying texture, and the sauce was delicious. The grilled yam was topped with plenty of bonito flakes. You can also order individual skewers of your choice, which is a nice option.
- Raw beef tripe (550 yen): I was curious about this dish, and it turned out to be beautifully presented. Even though I usually have this at yakiniku restaurants, I couldn't resist trying it here. This might become a regular order for me.
The staff's energetic calls and the overall lively atmosphere made the experience fun. The handsome manager made the visit even more enjoyable. This place is definitely worth a visit for the ladies! Thank you for the meal. ♥(・∀・)♥

There is a yakitori restaurant in Amerikamura. Their specialty chicken skewers are delicious, but the seasonal meat-wrapped kuushinsai was a hit. However, the best part is always the soba noodles at the end. It's a great place for a hearty meal or for a second stop for drinks later in the evening.

This is my third visit to "Hakata Kushiyaki Batten Yoka To". They have delicious skewers here. Is this the taste of Hakata? Cheap and delicious. Their energetic service is a selling point, but in this era of COVID-19, they are not speaking loudly. I ordered the vinegar motsu that I had before because it was delicious, and today I also ordered the shiro which was also delicious as always. The potato salad I tried for the first time was also delicious. As the finish, the soba here is delicious, so I had that again today. I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!!!

I came to Batten Yokato, where the familiar happy hour highball is too good of a deal. I was drawn in by the sign advertising highballs for 50 yen and mega highballs for 90 yen. I ordered a mega highball. It comes with ice, but the glass is big so it's very satisfying to drink. They also serve cabbage as a side dish. It's just raw cabbage with sauce on top, but I can't stop eating it. And when it runs out, you can ask for a refill. I ordered the pork belly well-done. It's best when the surface is crispy and slightly burnt. If it's not cooked enough, it becomes too soft, so I ask them to cook it until it's crispy. They also serve smoked pork cartilage. The thinly sliced cartilage has a nice crunchy texture. The pork belly has just the right amount of fat, which is very flavorful. They also serve white leeks, which become sweet when grilled. The address is 2-4-11 Nishi-Shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka.

When looking for a place to drink with colleagues at 4:00 PM, we decided to visit this restaurant where drinks are cheap until 6:00 PM. We ordered Yukke, Vinegar Motsu, and the recommended Shiro Yaki. We also ordered a skewer assortment. The food was delicious. The prices during this time were very reasonable and we had a great time drinking. Thank you for the meal.

A chain restaurant specializing in Hakata-style skewers with branches in Tenma, Tsuruhashi, and Kitashinchi. Similar restaurants in Osaka include 1/8 Pieces in Shinsaibashi and Tayutayu in Kitashinchi. I visited in February before the spread of COVID-19, with a reservation. The place was bustling with customers of all ages, from young to old. The first floor has only counter seats, and by 8 pm, it was full. Their specialty is the "shiro" skewer (¥140 each), which is like pork intestines marinated with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. It's simple but delicious, especially with drinks. They offer a variety of skewers, and I couldn't try everything this time, but they also have soba noodles (¥580) for a finishing touch. The prices are reasonable, and the popularity is evident. They also have a happy hour earlier in the day. Overall, it was a satisfying meal!

When I want to eat soba noodles, I visit this place. It's a Hakata-style grilled skewers restaurant. Lately, there are more foreign customers, and sometimes you need to make a reservation to get in. The first floor has a counter, and the second floor has tatami seating, but if you're not good at sitting on your knees or cross-legged, it might be tough for a long time. I recommend the lemon sour. It's a great deal at 600 yen for a huge glass! After enjoying various skewers, the perfect way to finish is with soba noodles. Mix yuzu pepper in the dipping sauce, and finish it off by adding soba broth. It's a perfect ending. Thank you for the meal!

No prior information. Entered the restaurant attracted by the nice atmosphere. Initially worried as there were no other customers, but soon it became full. The assorted grilled skewers included pork belly, chicken cartilage, meatballs, shiso-wrapped skewers, seasoned quail eggs, chicken thigh, beef tongue, and two other types. The characteristics of Hakata-style grilled skewers were unclear, but they had a traditional taste. They were not fancy, but all of them were delicious and different from chain restaurants. Apart from skewers, other dishes were also quite good. The potato salad had crispy flakes on top, adding a unique texture. The meat and tofu dish consisted of half a block of tofu simmered with beef tendons, topped with pickled ginger. For drinks, I had a draft beer followed by the "world's best oolong highball" - a small glass of shochu and a bottle of Taiwanese champagne oolong tea to mix in a glass with ice. The champagne oolong tea had a high fragrance and was said to be the best in the world, hence the name. However, the aroma was lost when mixed with shochu. Overall, it felt like a B-grade gourmet experience, but everything was incredibly delicious.

I visited this Hakata-style yakitori restaurant, "Batten Yokato" in America-mura for the first time with a friend for a second round of drinks. I have been to the Batten Yokato restaurant in Tatamiya-suji in Shinsaibashi a few times, but this was my first time at the America-mura branch. The white meat skewers here are delicious. I ordered the white meat wrapped in shiso leaves and thick-cut tongue. The white meat is grilled crispy on the outside over charcoal, and despite being offal, it is soft and easy to bite into, with a sticky sweet sauce that is exquisite. It's definitely worth going just for this. The counter seats are a bit cramped, but you can also linger or have a quick drink like I did. The prices are reasonable, so you might end up ordering too much. They also have trendy menu items like vegetable-wrapped meat skewers, which are popular with women. Thank you for the meal!

In Amerikamura, at Hakata Kushiyaki Battendo Yoka, they have a variety of vegetable skewers along with their Hakata-style skewers. The concept here is affordable skewers and expensive drinks. Charging 500 yen for a draft beer is quite bold in this area (laughs). The skewers are of good quality and reasonably priced, so it's recommended for those who want to eat heartily. We finished our meal with some soba noodles.

This shop is a chain with several locations in Minami. They grill Hakata rolled skewers and skewers for you at "Batten Yokato" in Amerikamura. The long and narrow counter seats are packed, with many foreigners also visiting. It was good to make a reservation~♫ First, a Corona beer♫
- Cabbage appetizer 100 yen, all-you-can-eat, and they place skewers on top of it♫
- Vinegar intestines 390 yen, a famous dish from Hakata. Refreshing and a quick menu item, so it comes out fast!
- Famous "shiro" 140 yen, chewy and simply delicious♫ Order two per person.
- Tsukune 270 yen, homemade tsukune that is soft and delicious♫
- Hakata specialty Shiso roll 240 yen, a rolled skewer trend that has been popular in Kansai recently. Shiso rolls are a classic, right?♫
- Asparagus roll 250 yen, a must-order asparagus roll! So tasty♫
- Miyazaki Prefecture's local radish 390 yen, a pretty big Miyazaki Prefecture local radish. Good for the blood and hair~♫
- Cheese tofu 580 yen, tofu mixed with cheese and honey, a harmonious combination♫ Great for pairing with wine♫
The distance between the seats is quite close, but it's a lively and fun place with a lot of excitement. The staff are energetic and nice♫

I visited the restaurant alone during the happy hour time in the evening on a weekday. Until 5:00 PM is happy hour, during which a highball costs only 90 yen and a mega highball costs 150 yen, which is very cheap! I ordered a platter of 5 skewers for food that day. They were all delicious and had a good portion size, which went well with the drinks. The skewers included yakitori as well as unique items made with seasonal ingredients, vegetable skewers, and pork skewers, all of which were delicious. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
