I tried the popular water hot pot at my senior's friend's restaurant, which was different from the ones I've had before as it was more like a chicken hot pot. It was light and I enjoyed it with ponzu sauce. The place seemed to be trending among Korean customers. Personally, I found the sesame amberjack and tuna sashimi to be delicious, and I ended up getting drunk from drinking too much. It was great.

This is a counter-style restaurant. I decided to drop in on a whim. The friendly chef's beautifully presented dishes exceeded my expectations. As I savored each bite, I found myself intrigued by the restaurant for some reason. When I read the menu board carefully, I discovered that the chef used to work as a French chef. That explained the exquisite presentation. I ordered some tofu dishes (with a smooth texture) and various beef tongue dishes, all of which were delicious! They also had a wide variety of plum wine. I was satisfied with the service, food, and atmosphere, so I will definitely be returning soon! (If I had to nitpick, I wish they would stay open a bit later than 10 pm).

The menu for the day was "beef tongue hamburger set". Yes, decision made! It was 11:55. The interior of the restaurant is small, with only 7 counter seats, and operated by a man and a woman. I sat at a seat separated by an acrylic board and ordered the daily lunch special. The serving time was almost unnoticeable. Rice and miso soup were brought out one after the other, and then the main dish appeared right away. The hamburger and salad were served on one plate. The hamburger with grated radish and chopped green onions. The presence of beef tongue was not noticeable, but it was delicious in a normal way. The salad dressing had a slightly unique taste with a hint of acidity, which I liked. The rice was mixed grain and seemed good for the body. If this is 700 yen, it's a good deal for lunch in Nakasu. It used to be Oden Shirasugi before. I wonder if it has disappeared from the Tabelog database? I decided to try it because it said they have a daily lunch special for 700 yen. It was around 11:50 AM and there were quite a few customers. The interior is almost the same as when it was Shirasugi, with acrylic boards placed between tables. It's relatively warm with sunlight coming in through the large windows facing the river during winter and spring. I'm glad that this atmosphere remains. The menu mainly consists of meat dishes, but they also have seafood bowls, steaks, and pork cutlets. There is a variety of options. This time I had the beef tongue burger. After 12 PM, more and more customers started coming in, some even waiting outside. Not just office workers, but also elderly customers. The beef tongue burger was small but flavorful, served with multigrain rice. The aroma of the meat was sweet and complemented by grated radish. All of this for 700 yen is quite cheap. It seems like there is a peak in customers around 12:30 PM with a lot of coming and going.

I entered as soon as the restaurant opened, so I was the first one there today...! I thought there were only 6 seats at the counter, but later 3 more people were seated at a table in the back, so it seems they also have table seating! Once again, without looking at the menu... I ordered the lunch I came for! - Chicken liver and leek stir-fry set meal (800 yen) Looking at the menu, there were stamina stir-fry, tonkatsu, etc... including daily specials, surprisingly a variety of options, which is nice... After waiting for about 10 minutes, the chicken liver and leek stir-fry arrived! The chicken liver was quite large, with a good amount of volume! The side dishes were pickled vegetables, radish pickles, and cold tofu! These were also delicious... I tried it right away, and the texture of the liver was firm and springy! It might seem intimidating to visit alone at night, but I have a strong feeling that the food will be delicious... haha Now, I'm curious about the outdoor sign, so I order this! - Daily lunch special (700 yen) By the way, today's special was a Japanese-style grated beef tongue hamburger! After ordering, I noticed... the limited 5 servings of chicken liver and leek... The person next to me was eating it and it looked really delicious... Oh no... Well, without dwelling on regrets, the lunch arrived in just 10 minutes! Oh... a well-made grated hamburger that tastes authentic...! When I eat it, the beef tongue doesn't have a chewy texture... it is finely minced and tastes like a proper hamburger! Along the Hakata River, on the opposite side of Nakasu, near the Kawabata Shopping Street, there is a shop with a long counter. The friendly owner creates a great atmosphere. The appetizers were excellent! The oden and pig's feet were delicious! The premium grilled beef tongue was outstanding! The grilling and aroma of the straw were delightful. Thank you for the meal!

Limited to 10 servings per day, the Pirate Donburi for 1500 yen was incredibly delicious. Even at 1500 yen, it was quite a good deal.

I tried the Itoshima pork loin cutlet set meal for 900 yen and it was delicious. It might be even better than the tonkatsu restaurants around here. The rice was like mixed grain rice and it was also delicious.

The staff at the restaurant were very nice, and we had a fun and delicious meal.

I stopped by for lunch. I had burger curry and oden, and the curry had a perfect balance of spiciness and deliciousness. The hamburger complemented the curry well without overpowering its flavor. The oden was slightly spicy and the daikon radish was well infused with flavor, making it too spicy to eat without beer. The cost performance was also great, and I definitely plan to try the motsunabe next time!

I stopped by alone to enjoy a leisurely meal and fill my stomach with delicious food. I've been to quite a few restaurants in Nakasu, but sometimes it's nice to go wherever you feel like. I started with grilled beef, which goes well with alcohol. The ingredients were fresh and I ended up staying for 3 hours. Sorry about that! For dessert, I had some soup to settle my stomach. Now I feel relaxed and ready to go home. I recommend this place for a leisurely meal. It seems to get crowded around 7 PM, so making a reservation might be a good idea!
