When I hesitate, I end up wanting to eat grilled beef tongue as well. When it arrived, it was very tender! And the quality was surprisingly high! The taste exceeded my expectations, so I would like to come back when Parco reopens!

The first serving is grated yam rice and the second serving is egg on rice, so you can enjoy the beef tongue in different ways. Even the regular size comes with around 10 slices of beef tongue, which is satisfying. The thickness is just right, though the seasoning with salt and pepper may be a bit strong. It's a valuable restaurant that stays open until late at a station, perfect for those returning from business trips. If you're in Parco, this place is better than Gokumi.

The popular "Tanya HAKATA" with long lines at Hakata Station is also here. They open early in the morning at Hakata Station, but here they open at 11:00. I was happy to see they had a small size option on the menu. I ordered that for 1000 yen, with a smaller portion of rice. As I have gotten older, this amount of food is enough for me. Of course, it came with grated yam and they also provided a raw egg on the table. The small amount of rice didn't match well with the toppings, but putting the grated yam on top of the raw egg over rice was delicious! It was like a cold soup or tea-soaked rice, very satisfying. You can get a free refill of barley rice, but I found the portion to be too much so I left some behind. The tororo (grated yam) is generously served and can be adjusted with soy sauce from the table. You can also have one raw egg for Tamago Kake Gohan (egg over rice). It would be nice if they also included pickles. The atmosphere may not be very calm due to the location, but it's a good place to enjoy gyutan at a reasonable price.

Because it was thinly sliced, it lacked substance. Also, because it was thinly sliced, even when served hot, it felt cold. It came with marinated salad-like vegetables.
