Holiday 1155, 6 people waiting, entered at 1210, ordered Tendon (¥700) and Akadashi soup (¥50). I used to visit this small Tendon restaurant in Sakamachi every week. The previous owner retired, and now his son has taken over. The restaurant can only accommodate 6 people at a time. On this day, there were 4 foreign customers who seemed to be Korean already seated, so it was full. However, depending on the timing, you can sometimes get a seat easily. There were also many Korean customers among the later customers, so this place might be popular in Korea. Now, about the Tendon. The menu only offers Tendon, so there is no need to order. The Tendon consists of 2 shrimp tempura and seaweed tempura, very simple ingredients. At first glance, it may seem like a regular Tendon, but the tempura crumbs are seasoned perfectly, making them the most delicious I've ever had. They are now sold for ¥50, but they used to be provided for free. Just adding them to instant noodles like Donbei would elevate the taste significantly. Furthermore, the sauce is also exquisite. It has a light flavor that pairs perfectly with the crispy tempura. The rice is also cooked firm, and when combined with the tempura, sauce, and rice, it becomes a fantastic Tendon. I've tried high-end and famous Tendon from various places, but Sakamachi's Tendon is still my number one. It may look simple, but it is actually a refined and top-notch Tendon. Thank you, son, for continuing this tradition!

- Sakamachi's Tempura Rice Bowl - Tempura Rice Bowl. ¥700 On a day off and struggling to decide what to eat, I suddenly felt like having tempura rice bowl and headed to Sakamachi's Tempura Rice Bowl. I ordered the classic tempura rice bowl, which is the only item on the menu along with red miso soup. It consists of 2 shrimp tempura and seaweed tempura, a simple yet delicious combination with a light sauce and perfectly cooked rice. The tempura crumbs are also incredibly tasty. This tiny restaurant with only 6 counter seats continues to be amazing as always. RIZIN fighter Ren Hiramoto was also recently praising this place. If you have the chance, be sure to stop by... #Gourmet #KansaiGourmet #OsakaGourmet #ShinsaibashiGourmet #NipponbashiGourmet #Sakamachi'sTempuraRiceBowl #TempuraRiceBowl #Foodie #FoodieWanted #FoodieConnect #Foodstagram

I missed lunch and thought about having ramen at Kuromon Market, but couldn't find a restaurant. Then I remembered about the tempura rice bowl shop and decided to check it out. It was almost full even though it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The menu is simple with only tempura rice bowl and red miso soup for 50 yen. They fry the tempura right after you order, with two prawns, seaweed, and nothing else. The freshly fried tempura rice bowl with plump prawns is simply delicious. It reminds me of the times when I used to have a light meal before going out for drinks.

In July of the 5th year of Reiwa, this small restaurant with only 6 counter seats offers delicious tempura rice bowls for 700 yen including tax. They open from 10:00 AM, making it a great spot for an early lunch with freshly fried tempura.

It's been a while since I visited the tempura bowl restaurant in Sakamachi. I arrived just before 10 in the morning and the place was already packed with customers. The son has taken over the business now, but the deliciousness and reasonable prices remain consistent. Their tempura bowl with three shrimp is only 700 yen (tax included), and you can add extra shrimp for a small fee. The red miso soup is 50 yen (tax included), which is also a great deal. The tempura bowl with mixed tempura is 650 yen (tax included). Overall, it's a great value for the quality of food you get.

Established in 1952, this popular spot in Naniwa is known for its "Sakamachi Tendon"! Gegege! And it's only 700 yen! Everywhere seems to be raising prices, but this tempura bowl is worth it. The sizzling sound when pouring the broth over the freshly fried tempura is mouthwatering. The red miso soup with Wakame and sprinkled with powdered Sansho pepper is irresistible. The plump shrimp paired with the broth-soaked rice is as delicious as ever. I'll forgive the 50 yen price increase (laughs). Located in Chuo-ku, Osaka, Chindai 1-8-16, contact 06-6213-3607. Open from 10:00 to 19:00, closed on Wednesdays and the third Thursday of the month. Don't hesitate to follow Skasan on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter! The menu includes tempura bowl for ¥650, red miso soup for ¥50. The tempura bowl is served with freshly fried shrimp topped with sauce, making a "juu" sound as it arrives. It's a traditional and delicious tempura bowl restaurant. This time, I added two extra shrimp. If you're in the mood for tempura bowl around here, be sure to visit. This time, I visited the Tempura restaurant called "Ten-don" in Sakamachi, just off Sennichimae Shopping Street, after a long time - about a year and a half since my last visit. This is a small shop where you can order only Tempura, so I also ordered a side of miso soup. It's a small shop with only counter seating, but I've been a regular customer for a long time. The Tempura was delicious and I couldn't wait to dig in. The sound of the sizzling freshly fried Tempura was music to my ears, and the first bite was amazing. The hot and crispy shrimp paired perfectly with the rice, just as tasty as I remembered. I enjoyed it with the miso soup, and finished it in no time. In one word, it was delicious as always. I noticed they also had a sign for Tempura with mixed vegetable Tempura, which I would like to try next time. Thank you for the meal.

Tempura Bowl for 650 yen This small shop is located a little inside the Sennichimae Shopping Street. It's a small place with only a counter, and they fry the tempura after you order. The tempura bowl comes in a small bowl with two small shrimp and seaweed tempura. It's generously covered in sweet sauce. The rice is a bit firm, which is just right! The shrimp have about half of their batter removed. It's nice to be able to eat tempura at a reasonable price! Thank you for the meal.

Established in 1952, this place is well-known among the locals in Naniwa as the "Ten-don of Sakamachi"! The ten-don costs 650 yen, plus you can add red miso soup for an extra 50 yen. The shrimp is plump and juicy, with a crispy and fragrant tail. The red miso soup is sprinkled with powdered sansho pepper, adding a nice touch. It's been a while since I last had it, but it's still delicious. Thank you for the meal. Located at 1-8-16 Sennichimae, Chuo-ku, Osaka City. Closed on Wednesdays and the 3rd Thursday of the month. I visited the restaurant "Sakamachi's Tempura Bowl" for dinner that day. It is a well-known old tempura restaurant in Minami. I had been wanting to go there someday, and finally had the chance to visit this time. The restaurant has a calm exterior with a white curtain, and a signboard that says "Tempura Bowl 650 yen". Inside, there is only a counter, giving it a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the "Tempura Bowl + Miso Soup 700 yen". Many customers were regulars, and it seemed like ordering miso soup was a must. The tempura bowl that arrived was simple yet delicious, with shrimp tempura and seaweed. It may not be filling enough for younger customers, but it's a taste of the good old days. Considering the location and price, 650 yen is quite reasonable. After trying it, I realized that the miso soup and pickles complement the tempura bowl perfectly. Thank you for the meal!

There are 5 counter seats and a small kitchen with 2 staff members. I wondered where the restroom was since it wasn't inside the restaurant. There was a narrow and steep ladder-like staircase at the back of the kitchen. Maybe the upper floor is a living space. The menu is very simple: Tempura bowl for 650 yen, Kakiage bowl for 600 yen, and Red Miso soup for 50 yen. I ordered the Tempura bowl. The regular customers who came later ordered by adding "1 extra shrimp, please." It seems like adding an extra shrimp costs around 50-100 yen. The shrimp used is likely Black Tiger or a similar type. I could see a tray of packed shrimp from my seat. The dish was ready in just a few minutes. It included 2 shrimp, 1 sheet of seaweed, and 2 slices of pickled radish. The unique feature is that they put a bit more batter on the shrimp when frying, making it look like more than it actually is. The slightly sweet tempura sauce goes well with the shrimp. The fresh and crispy shrimp was delicious. It was a satisfying lunch at the ideal 80% full. The restaurant is very small, I wonder if there are any smaller ones out there. Thank you for the meal.

This is a well-known long-established tempura rice bowl restaurant in Osaka Minami. It is located right in the middle of Minami, a little south from Dotonbori. I visited around 10:30 on a holiday, the store opens at 10:00, and the limited quantity kakiage rice bowl was already sold out... What a shame. So I ended up ordering the tempura rice bowl and red miso soup. It cost 650 yen plus 50 yen. The tempura rice bowl had two shrimp and a seaweed tempura. I was curious about the thin square piece next to the shrimp, and it turned out to be the batter. It looks like squid or fish, but there is no filling inside. It seems like they intentionally make this shape. Although the variety of tempura is limited, the shrimp in the shrimp tempura was quite firm, and the frying was just right, showing why this place is popular. The rice and sauce were also very delicious, which explains its popularity even with such simplicity. Next time, I will make sure to come before 10:00 to try the kakiage rice bowl. On a Sunday, I saw a long line outside the store, and it turned out to be Mitsu's okonomiyaki. Further down, the takoyaki shop Odaidako also had a long line.

I moved from Wakayama to Izumisano for a meeting, and then returned to Osaka for lunch. I was thinking of having the famous curry at Jiyuken, but since I had curry for lunch yesterday and this morning, I decided to try the tempura bowl at Sakamachi Tempura, a rare find. It had been over 10 years since I last visited. The tempura bowl used to be 500 yen, but now it's 650 yen. When I sat down and received my tea, I was surprised to see a tea pillar standing in the cup! Is this lucky? It made me happy! The nostalgic tempura bowl consisted of simple tempura with seaweed and shrimp. It was served with tempura dipping sauce, and the rice went well with it. It was a bowl full of nostalgia!

I visited "Sakamachi's Tendon" in Namba, Osaka for lunch after a long time. The small counter-only restaurant was closed a few times before, but this time it was open. I ordered the usual mixed tempura bowl with an additional shrimp tempura. I also ordered red miso soup. The tempura was freshly fried after ordering, so it was served hot. The shrimp tempura was delicious and perfectly seasoned with the sauce. The mixed tempura was also very tasty when eaten with the rice. It was a satisfying meal that I enjoyed after a long time.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Nihonbashi, in a side street to the east of Sennichimae Hozoji, is Tempura restaurant called Sakamachi. This is a long-established Tempura specialty shop that has been in business for over 70 years. The cozy counter with 6 seats in the deep alley of Sennichimae, combined with the friendly service, creates a comfortable atmosphere. Their Tempura is crispy, fragrant, and has a rich flavor, making it a perfect fast food option. Priced at 650 yen, they open from 10 am, which is quite convenient. The addictive taste of their Tempura makes this shop a must-visit in Minami! Visited in March 2022: I had a lunch meeting at an awkward time, so why not have morning Tempura? That's why I went to Sakamachi's Tempura shop. It had been about 20 years since my last visit when the Tempura was 500 yen. At that time, I used to frequent the two major players in the area, the sandwich and onigiri shop on the north side (now closed). The shop is located in a deep alley in Sennichimae, with only a small counter with 6 seats. Of course, I had to go for the limited 10 servings of Kakiage-don!? And added the shrimp Tempura that comes with the Tempura bowl. - Kakiage-don 600 yen - Shrimp Tempura 150 yen - Miso soup 50 yen The dishes were served in about 3 minutes, which was quite pleasing. First, I crushed the Kakiage and enjoyed it with rice. The crispy batter with the fragrance of oil, the sweet and rich Tempura sauce, and the firmly cooked rice all combined to create an irresistible dish. The ingredients in the Kakiage were onions, peeled shrimp, and Mitsuba (a type of herb). Even with a generous amount of batter, the combination of the batter, sauce, and rice alone was delicious. The rice, with its perfect firmness and sweetness, was surprisingly impressive. Although there is a nostalgic factor, this could be one of the answers to Tempura bowls. Eating quickly and then heading out for some fun. This is how you can make the most of this long-established Tempura shop in Sennichimae! Thank you for the meal.

The guitarist of Crazy Ken Band, Maoyu Onose, who loves the heavenly bowl in Sakamachi, is just right when you're a little hungry. The inside of the shop is extremely narrow, but it's a simple heavenly bowl with 2 shrimp tempura and seaweed tempura. The sauce with a mild sweetness is also good! It seems like you can add more shrimp tempura for an additional fee, even though it's not written on the menu. Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant has a small counter with a few seats, but there are places to store bags and hang coats in the back, so it's not a problem when eating. The chef may look intimidating at first, but he is actually very kind and greets you with a smile, making you feel at ease. The freshly fried tempura is served right in front of you, with a dash of broth poured over it, making it very appetizing. The tempura rice bowl costs 650 yen and comes with 2 shrimp tempura and seaweed tempura on top. It also comes with pickled radish, so you can enjoy eating it without getting tired. I enjoyed the meal, thank you.
