The private room was full, so we sat in a room that could accommodate three groups, which made for a relaxing atmosphere with lively conversations. The grilled snow crab cooked right in front of us on the tabletop grill was especially delicious.

We made a reservation for four people at 19:30 on a regular day. Although there were some empty tables, the restaurant was quite busy. We had reserved the crab course, so small appetizers and crab vinegar were already on the table. The crab vinegar was the best way to taste the crab, but the portion was small, so we couldn't fully enjoy it. It might be better to order crab separately if you want to fully enjoy it. Then we had sashimi, crab dumplings, chawanmushi, salad, and crab rice porridge, which had a nice creamy texture. The flavor of the crab came through well in the porridge and it was delicious. The dessert coffee was good, but the almond jelly was questionable. In terms of price, it may be considered reasonable.

This restaurant is part of the Umenohana Group, known for its high-quality ingredients and slightly higher prices. We opted for the affordable weekday lunch set. I made a reservation over the phone this time after being turned away last time due to a full house. We arrived at 11:50 for our reservation. The small but charming traditional Japanese garden by the entrance was well-maintained. Upon entering the building, we took off our shoes and were escorted to a private room named "Suzuran," originally meant for four but now set up for two due to COVID-19 precautions. We chose the "Akane" lunch set priced at 3,200 yen, which included various dishes like crab vinegar, steamed egg custard, crab tempura, seafood chirashi sushi, soup, dessert (mango sherbet), and coffee. While we enjoyed the meal, the lack of background music made the ambiance a bit too quiet. The highlight was the delicious crab vinegar dish. However, the subsequent dishes did not quite live up to the initial excitement. The top-tier weekday lunch set "Toshichisei" priced at 5,400 yen did not seem worth the extra cost compared to "Akane." Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience at a restaurant I had been wanting to try. The staff provided excellent service.

On a regular day, I had an entrance celebration lunch with my daughter♪・Nanatose (Tonase) ¥5700 Small Dish (Tofu) - A dish of thick tofu with snow crab sashimi. Snow crab sashimi served with a crab fork to carefully pick apart and eat. Snow crab steamed in a steamer with ponzu sauce and yuzu pepper. Daikon mochi chawanmushi. Snow crab lava grill lightly seared. Snow crab tempura. Clam rice. Crab soup. Coffee. Dessert. For an additional ¥400, you can have a strawberry parfait. The dishes come out little by little and I thought it might not be enough, but I ended up quite full. I had a separate stomach for dessert. It was an entrance celebration lunch, but I was silently facing the crab (laughs) Thank you for the feast♪

Kanishige San Kurume Main Store, we used it for a business dinner. Business dinners can be a bit nerve-wracking, but when the food is really delicious, you can share a fun mood while eating and looking at each other's faces, making it a good dinner, right? Kanishige San offers delicious food, a nice atmosphere, a slightly luxurious feeling, a slightly luxurious price, everything feels good. I am satisfied. Since it was a business dinner, I didn't take many photos. We had crab sashimi, boiled crab, crab tempura, crab chawanmushi, grilled crab, crab steamed rice, crab soup, almond jelly, and coffee. Lunch in Kurume at Kanishige. It was run by the same management as Ume no Hana. The room we were seated in was a private room that felt like it had been renovated from a warehouse. It was nice to be able to relax. The "Shira-be" course for 2,500 yen (including tax) included: small appetizers, crab dumplings, crab salad, chawanmushi (savory egg custard), crab gratin, crab and shrimp tempura, rice, soup, pickles, and dessert. I used to look forward to coming here for celebrations because they served reasonably priced Ume no Hana crab. A friend used to work here, so it brings back a lot of nostalgic memories.
