Visited in July 2021. Took a walk around Juso after a long time, but on this day, I was in the mood for Chinese food instead of alcohol!! And I wanted to eat rice dishes (>_<) "Gyoza no Ohsho Juso Branch" Since it was during the Manbochu period, most izakayas and restaurants were open from 11 o'clock, so I waited in front of Ohsho pretending to be casual (laughs). And it opened at 11 o'clock! As I entered, customers started pouring in one after another. Everyone really loves Ohsho, huh~ (*´∀`) Since I was alone, I sat at the counter and placed my order... When it comes to Ohsho, gyoza is a must!! And for the rice dish to go with it... Even though I am a fan of Ohsho, I had been avoiding this for a long time, so I ordered it. - Gokuo Chahan Gokuo, huh (^_^;) Ahahaha And the price is more than 1.5 times the regular chahan!! The chahan rice is probably the same as the regular chahan, but it has large pieces of chashu, and it's a chahan with a bit of a forced addition of salmon and lettuce (laughs). When I tried it, the salmon seemed to take away the oil, making it super crispy in texture. Hmm. When salmon is added, it gives a somewhat Japanese taste and feels a bit awkward (-。-;) This... seems a bit forced just to raise the price. From now on, I'll stick to the regular chahan. - Garlic-Free Gyoza This is now my go-to dish. Except for a slight hint of ginger flavor, it's of high quality and almost doesn't make you feel that it's garlic-free. When eaten with plenty of spicy oil sauce, it's juicy and super delicious (≧▽≦)!! Recently, the recognition of garlic-free gyoza seems to have increased, as a few other customers also ordered it. While I go for garlic-free gyoza, for me, Gokuo Chahan is a "no." After enjoying the crispy gyoza, even though it's hot, I'll walk back home!! That's all for today.
