Although there is also a 45,000 yen shot available, which seems excessively expensive to me. I was hoping to find wine from the airport brewery, but they didn't have any. I enjoyed the whiskey while reminiscing about the flavors of Osaka. It's a luxury to enjoy good alcohol before departure. Thank you for the meal!

Today I went to a hotel just to sleep, so I have some free time and decided to check out another hotel outlet in Kobe. I was planning to drink something other than beer at the bar, but I heard that Yamazaki 12 year whiskey has gone up to 12,000 yen, so I don't feel like drinking it. Instead, I ordered an 800 yen draft beer with a croissant as a snack. The croissant was light and flaky, but with plenty of butter, making it a calorie-packed 500kcal treat. The atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant!

They offer a variety of drinks ranging from Dom Perignon (¥50,600) to Kenzo wine (¥66,500), cocktails, and sake. The tea service includes a pot with a sand timer, allowing you to enjoy two cups of Earl Grey milk tea. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it perfect for planning your trip to Yamagata. There are also options for light snacks and cafe drinks. Overall, a versatile spot to unwind before your flight.

Before my winter trip flight, I always stop by the "Lounge & Bar Grand Bleu" for an early lunch. Despite my wife's preference for a table seat, I always choose to sit at the bar counter with a view of the airplanes. I ordered the following: - Whole wheat bread and Hyogo Hyakunichi Tori Clubhouse Sandwich (half) - Yudane shokupan with aged Oyama ham & 2 types of cheese, both as lunch & dinner sets! When you order a set, it comes with Awaji Island onion soup, salad, sausage, and a drink! Unfortunately, they could only provide a half portion of the Clubhouse Sandwich. After a short wait, the food arrived. Itadakimasu! The bread here is really delicious. The Hyogo Hyakunichi Tori roast, ham, and cheese are all incredibly tasty! Looking back, I realized I ordered this same pair last time as well. Anyway, it's time for a short trip now! Thank you for the meal!

This is Itami Airport in the morning. After breakfast, I still had some time left so I decided to take a break here. The shop itself is clean, with a stylish and modern atmosphere. To enter the store, you first have to place your order and pay before you can sit down. There was a big sign at the register that said "Takeout Menu", so I thought it was for takeout only. I couldn't find the menu inside the store, and the staff didn't say anything or offer any help. It would have been nice if they had said something like "Please look at the menu here." Feeling confused, I ended up ordering just a cappuccino from the takeout menu. For first-time visitors, a bit more friendly customer service would have been appreciated.

<Visit on 22/11> First business trip to Tokyo! It's been a very long time since my last trip. I can't even remember the last time I was on a plane. Instead of using the card lounge, I decided to try eating my purchases inside the store. There are counter seats as well as small table seats, making it easy to stop by casually. On this day, if you spend over 540 yen on takeout items, you get a free blend hot coffee. I purchased the following items: - Yumenomachi Seven Lucky Eggs with Aged Ohyama Ham & Two Types of Cheese Combination (702 yen) - Rokko Mountain Milk France (259 yen) - Trois Fromages (302 yen) The dough of each item had a nice wheat flavor and a gentle taste. Enjoying a coffee while watching the planes take off wasn't a bad experience either.

Before a comfortable air travel, we decided to grab a light snack at "GRANDBLUE". It offers a lounge-like concept where you can enjoy breakfast featuring bread from "Le Pan Kobe Kitano" at Hotel La Suite Kobe, or lunch and dinner by Chef Ogasawara, the executive chef of La Suite Kobe Ocean's Garden. They also have a bar space, which may be a better option than the exclusive card lounges for a fee. The sandwiches looked delicious, and we ordered the whole wheat bread and "Hyogo Hyakunichidori" clubhouse sandwich (half) for ¥500, and the hot water bread and "Naruto Tamago" egg sandwich (with Awaji onions tartare) (half) for ¥300, splitting them with my wife. We also had an iced coffee for ¥350. The sandwiches were tasty, reflecting the quality of hotel-made food, especially the taste of La Suite. I wish there was a bar like this at the airport for the return journey, but it seems that such facilities are not yet available at regional airports. In total, it cost ¥1,650 including tax. I used to have simple sandwiches from "Sandwich House Gourmet" at Itami Airport since I was a child, but it seems to have disappeared after the renovation, so I may rely on this place in the future. There is also the option of "Imai-san" for kitsune udon. Overall, having more choices is a good improvement.

It offers a fantastic location where you can watch the runway and airplanes from the window. You can enjoy the luxurious atmosphere of the hotel. - Half-size egg sandwich and ham and cheese sandwich - Sandwiches made with carefully selected bread using French organic wheat, Canadian wheat, German rye, and wheat from Hyogo Prefecture, allowing you to enjoy the original taste and texture of wheat. - "Egg Sandwich" made with "Shichifuku Tamago" from Yumesaki-cho, Hyogo Prefecture, and Awaji onions combined with tartar sauce. - "Ham and Cheese Sandwich" made with Daishan ham with a rich aroma and mature umami, and two types of cheese, mozzarella and cheddar. The lunch & dinner set comes with onion soup, mini salad, sausages, and a drink for an additional 600 yen. La Suite's special charcuterie features sausages made with Tamba black beans miso and Motchi pork. It has a firm texture and a rich herb aroma. Today, since I arrived late, there was no onion soup, and instead, I got 2 sausages. You can spend a leisurely time before departure. It is located after passing the security checkpoint, making it easy to adjust your time before departure and a convenient place to visit.

I was slacking off on posting, but here is a hamburger from Itami Airport ^^; In July, I had a business trip to Tokyo via Itami Airport. I couldn't find a place that seemed good to have lunch inside the airport, so I decided to eat this hamburger. It seemed a bit pricey for my taste, but I wanted to treat myself to a delicious hamburger once in a while, so I went in. I ordered the Premium Awaji Beef 100% Smoky Cheeseburger (1320 yen) with a drink set for an additional 385 yen, and chose grapefruit juice. The menu mentioned using Le Pan's original buns, which got my expectations up, but unfortunately they were not warm... The tomatoes inside were cold, making the whole burger feel cold. The smoky beef was okay, but overall, it was just average as a hamburger, and didn't feel worth the price. I wanted to enjoy the delicious buns with the meatiness and the flavor of the cheese, but my expectations were not met... Itami Airport has been renovated and looks clean. There are many food establishments, but there weren't many that made me want to try them inside the security area. It would be nice if there were some good places...

Just before heading to the boarding gate, there is a shop with a slightly more upscale atmosphere compared to other shops. They offer a wide variety of cocktails, whiskey, and even Japanese sake. I was torn between choices but ended up enjoying several highballs before heading to the boarding gate. It was nice to relax and watch the planes coming and going.

2022.01.08 (Day 1) Tokyo Trip After 2 Years Part 1 I haven't been able to go to Tokyo for a long time due to the pandemic, but I was able to book a private room at a three-star French restaurant and with the situation improving, I finally planned a 2-night, 3-day trip to Tokyo~♪ Since my birthday celebration in December 2019 at "Hatsune Sushi" in Tokyo Kamata, it has been 2 years since I last visited. It feels like the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly just before this trip, so let's be very careful when going out. My friend will be staying from Friday for 2 nights and 3 days, while I booked starting from Saturday for a 3-day weekend, staying at "Cantessance" and enjoying Tokyo after a long time. I left home around 7:30 and arrived at Itami Airport by the Osaka limousine bus at 8:30. My JAL flight was scheduled to depart at 9:30, so I decided to have breakfast at the lounge & bar "Grand Bleu Itami Airport Store" at the North Terminal. "Hotel La Suite Kobe Harborland" operates the lounge & bar "Grand Bleu" at Itami Airport, offering casual breakfast and lunch menus during the daytime, and wine, champagne, whiskey, and other drinks to enjoy a high-quality time during bar time. I ordered the Flight Picnic Set Morning for 540 yen, which includes a choice of 1 bread, coffee or tea, mineral water, La Suite original laundry bag, and La Suite original eco bag. Until 10 a.m., the only option is the "Flight Picnic Set" that can be brought on the plane in this eco bag, but it is also okay to eat inside the store. I sat at the counter seat with a great view of the airplanes and runway from the window. I poured coffee into a paper cup by myself, chose the "Le Pain Kobe Kitano" made "Oyama Ham Bani Bacon Cheese" bread, and enjoyed it (^o^)／ The items packed in the original eco bag were a 500ml bottle of mineral water, a wet towel, and an original face mask containing plenty of beauty serum with moisturizing ingredients such as placenta, collagen, and hyaluronic acid. I was impressed that this flight set was only one coin. The Italian sandwich made with bread using rice flour from Takamoto Farm in Hyogo, filled with Oyama Ranch dry salt bacon and Swiss Gruyere cheese, grilled to perfection, was chewy and delicious with the saltiness of the bacon and the richness and umami of the cheese. It paired well with hot coffee. I packed the mineral water and garbage bag for my shoulder bag and returned the eco bag and face mask before heading to the boarding gate. It's a nice weather at the chilly Itami Airport with not a cloud in sight. The almost full Boeing 787 (240 seats) touched down at Haneda Airport in just 1 hour. I transferred at Shinagawa on the Keikyu Airport Line Express, then took the JR Yamanote Line outer loop and the JR Sobu Line from Shinjuku to head to Okubo Station. For my first lunch in Tokyo, I will enjoy a one-coin "Beef Tendon Curry". Bon appétit (●^o^●)

I visited for breakfast and found a reasonable plate for 550 yen! The neatly packed sandwiches can also be taken to go (carry-on). I enjoyed eating in and they also offer half-size sandwiches, which was perfect for me as a light eater. They have a variety of sandwiches to choose from. There were about 4 bottles of Hakushu 21 lined up at the bar, but I wonder how much they cost... It seems like they also offer morning showers. The staff were very polite and it was nice to watch the planes take off from the window. It was a pleasant way to start the day. Thank you for the meal.

They offer a "Le Pan Breakfast Set" for only 500 yen, which includes 3 types of bread (daily selection), a boiled egg from Yumecho Town's "Seven Lucky Eggs", a mini salad made with local vegetables, and a choice of coffee or tea. For an additional 150 yen, you can add the official Awaji onion soup approved by the Hyogo Onion Association, and for 200 yen, you can add the La Suite special charcuterie with Tanba black bean miso pork sausage and sauerkraut. They also offer various pastries, bread, and sweets for takeout, making it a great option for souvenirs as well.

This is a new store of Lupin located in the restaurant area of Itami Airport, North Terminal. You can dine in or take out here. I ordered a whole wheat bread and a club sandwich with "Harima Hyakunichidori" chicken for takeout this time. It was filled with eggs, tomatoes, and Harima Hyakunichidori chicken, making it very satisfying and delicious.

Located at Itami Airport, GLAND BLEU is a restaurant that can be enjoyed after passing through security. As part of the la suite kobe group, the restaurant has a sophisticated atmosphere. Upon arriving at Itami Airport from Haneda Airport, I had a delicious egg sandwich for breakfast. The egg sandwich with tartar sauce was really tasty. I also purchased a great deal of a take-out set which included my choice of bread, coffee, and an original bag for 500 yen (I chose the 330 yen Spicy Bacon Bread). Highly recommended.

I came to Itami Airport to go to Tokyo! This is my first time visiting Itami Airport after a large-scale renovation. It looks so clean and beautiful now. I took a break in the lounge, enjoying a coffee while relaxing. As I left the lounge, I passed by this cafe and saw some delicious cakes. Since I had some time before boarding, I decided to go in. The cafe was also following proper COVID-19 measures, which made me feel comfortable. I ordered a coffee and a cake. I was planning to just get coffee, but the cake looked so delicious that I added it to my order. I chose the "Gâteau Le Pan" which had fluffy sponge cake with plenty of strawberries and light cream. It looked so delicious with the strawberries on top. The combination of strawberry and cream was perfect. I also got the "Chocolat Orange" which was a chocolate and orange mousse with a hint of bitterness from the orange marmalade. It was a cake my chocolate-loving husband chose. The chocolate coating was beautiful, and the combination of chocolate and marmalade was delicious. It was described as a "classic item" on the menu. They also had a chocolate mousse made with milk chocolate from France. If you ever visit Itami Airport, be sure to check it out!

After passing through security at Osaka Airport, I found a stylish lounge at La Suite Kobe in Kobe Harborland. I ordered the beef tendon curry and added a half-size egg and mille-feuille cutlet sandwich. The curry had tender beef tendons and a rich sauce, which was absolutely delicious. The restaurant also had paintings by Takeshi Kitano on display, creating a relaxing atmosphere to pass the time before my flight.

During a refreshing vacation in Tohoku, I had breakfast at the "Lounge & Bar Gran Bleu" in the North Terminal of Osaka International Airport. I had the Combination Sandwich Set with Yudane Shokupan and Dream-machi's "Shichifuku Tamago" eggs & "Jiko Shizuku Salt" Mille-Feuille Katsu for ¥1155. The thinly sliced pork cutlet, made by stacking multiple layers of meat and frying, was tender and delicious. The egg sandwich made with Shichifuku eggs had tartar sauce and a large egg sandwiched in between, and the soft-boiled egg was really tasty! The coffee in the set was refreshing and delicious. My wife had the "Le Pan Breakfast Set," which is known as the "Best Breakfast Festival in Japan" for ¥550, and she couldn't stop raving about how delicious the bread was. It was a delicious meal. Low-carb ragu pasta set for 1540 yen. Soft drinks are complimentary for the grand opening. The portion of noodles is quite generous. The sauce runs out quickly, so they should reduce the amount a bit. The pasta has a unique chewy texture. It dries quickly, so I tried drizzling olive oil for bread on it. There are power outlets available, making it a good place to relax. You can also get takeout and eat in the open space.
