The popular restaurant Ni no Ni in Kumamoto and Fukuoka is now in Osaka, Muneemon-cho! I realized this recently and visited for the first time yesterday. They have a happy hour from 5 pm to 6:30 pm where drinks and grilled dumplings are half price, so I went there to take advantage of that. I ordered their must-try dishes: stir-fried vegetables, grilled dumplings, pickled vegetables, mapo tofu, pork fried rice, vinegar tripe, smashed cucumber, and requested the drooling chicken. Among them, the recommended dish is the mapo tofu. It's incredibly spicy and delicious! The vinegar tripe is so nostalgic and Fukuoka-style that it made me cry... Seriously, I'm so happy that Ni no Ni is here, I will definitely be a regular customer! ❤️❤️❤️

I had been curious about this place for years and finally had the chance to visit today. It was Happy Hour, so I got a draft beer for 299 yen and gyoza for half price, which was great. The gyoza was not bite-sized, but on the smaller side, so I could eat quite a few. They were crispy and delicious. I had grilled gyoza, Vietnamese fresh spring rolls, spicy mapo tofu, draft beer, and lemon sour.

The fourth restaurant in Dotonbori is full of foreigners, and there are so many people. I walked around and ended up at this place. I ordered dumplings, vinegar tripe, and a bottle of beer. I started with the beer, then had the vinegar tripe. At this point, they brought me a hot towel made of straw. The dumplings were crispy, but surprisingly not piping hot. The vinegar tripe was made of pork tripe and had a delicious lively flavor. It wasn't too noisy, just lively. For someone middle-aged, it might be a bit tiring.

We went shopping in Shinsaibashi and my daughter recommended going to Nizunizi. It seems like Osaka is the only location, but they have multiple stores in Fukuoka, which is the main base, and also in Kumamoto. I often visit Fukuoka and Kumamoto, but I didn't know about this place. Nizunizi offers food for less than 500 yen and drinks for around 300 yen, which is quite cheap. They have a special offer from 5 pm to 7:30 pm where gyoza is half price, and beer, shochu, wine, and lemon sour are 299 yen. When we arrived at 5 pm, there were already several groups inside. First, we tried the gyoza: a serving of 7 small gyoza for 250 yen. They are slightly sweet, but taste great with a little yuzu pepper and vinegar soy sauce. Next, we had mapo tofu, which had a spicy kick to it. The vinegar tripe was voluminous with a nice texture, and the ponzu sauce was delicious. The smashed cucumber had excellent seasoning and a crunchy texture. Lastly, the garlic sprouts stir-fry had the perfect amount of garlic and the thick strips of pork matched well. It was a wonderful dining experience!

I was really looking forward to visiting a popular gyoza restaurant that opened in Munakae-Machi, Fukuoka. In addition to gyoza, they had various Chinese dishes on the menu, but I came for the gyoza. I ordered pan-fried gyoza, boiled gyoza, and gyoza soup. The pan-fried gyoza was small bite-sized and crispy, very delicious! The boiled gyoza was slightly bigger with a fluffy texture and lots of meat filling. The gyoza soup had a gentle flavor as the boiled gyoza was soaked in Chinese soup. Everything was delicious, but the pan-fried gyoza was the best. Despite getting quite full, the bill was surprisingly around 1,000 yen per person, great cost performance like a chain restaurant. However, since it was newly opened, the service was a bit slow, with waiters not coming even after calling them multiple times, gyoza orders taking a long time to arrive, and the last drink order not coming at all. It might be better to go when you have plenty of time to spare.

Located in the rough area of Sōemon-chō, this shop is famous for its gyoza in Fukuoka. In addition to bite-sized gyoza, they also offer a variety of side dishes. Occasionally, they have promotions on bottled beer, so that's recommended. The restaurant is non-smoking, but smoking is allowed only in the front seats. Be cautious of hosts trying to catch your attention around the shop.

Located in Kumamoto, "Gyoza-ya Nino Ni" has its main store and is bustling in Fukuoka, Okinawa, Osaka, and other places. The name "Nino Ni" comes from the fact that the main store's address is "2-2," which sounds like a lie but is actually true. This time, I ventured to Sotobori-cho in Minami for a quick dinner. The interior of the restaurant has a Taiwanese-style street stall atmosphere. The menu is easy to understand with photos. In addition to Chinese cuisine, there is a wide variety of Asian dishes such as Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The menu is full of items you can't find in typical Chinese restaurants, which is quite appealing. The drink menu is extensive, with a happy hour until 6:30 pm offering drinks like draft beer, lemon sour, glass of wine, highball, shochu, and more for 290 yen (excluding tax). Plus, gyoza is half price, making it a great deal. There are also daily specials like stir-fried garlic chives, bonito tataki, and Korean cold noodles. I couldn't decide between draft beer and lemon sour, so I toasted with a lemon sour. This lemon sour is slightly sweet and refreshing, easy to drink. Grilled gyoza 7 pieces 250 yen (excluding tax) → 125 yen (excluding tax) During happy hour, it's half price! The gyoza sauce is slightly sweet, maybe due to the Kyushu soy sauce used. The bite-sized gyoza is crispy and has a thin skin. The filling uses only domestic pork and carefully selected domestic vegetables. When you bite into it, the juicy meat juices overflow, incredibly delicious. It's full of umami, and the aftertaste is refreshing. Pairing it with a lemon sour creates a blissful moment. Soup gyoza 6 pieces 300 yen (excluding tax) I ordered one serving of grilled gyoza and one of soup gyoza to compare. The soup gyoza has a light saltiness with a hint of chive aroma. The gyoza in the chicken-based soup is plump and juicy. This soup is amazing! I want to try it with noodles too! The gyoza soaked in the rich soup is unbeatably delicious. The sesame oil aroma is also a nice touch. Bonito tataki 480 yen (excluding tax) Enjoy it with plenty of condiments. The sauce has a Chinese-style and ethnic flavor. The chewy umami of bonito pairs perfectly with it! It's a different kind of deliciousness compared to regular bonito tataki! It makes you want some Shaoxing wine... Crispy fried eggplant 430 yen (excluding tax) The eggplant is coated with "kataifi," giving it a crispy texture. The hot and tender eggplant is juicy. The combination of the melty eggplant and crispy kataifi is fantastic. The spicy and savory mapo sauce adds to the flavor. Stir-fried greens 480 yen (excluding tax) It's a stir-fry of Chinese broccoli. The quickly stir-fried Chinese broccoli is very fresh and crunchy. However, I found the saltiness to be a bit strong. Crispy fried spring rolls 4 pieces 420 yen (excluding tax) The spring rolls are wrapped in kataifi, giving them a crispy texture. The hot and tender filling inside is sweet and savory. The sweet chili sauce adds a nice touch. There are still many dishes I want to try, but unfortunately, I'm already full. The deliciousness of fried dishes using kataifi has impressed me. Takeout is also available. Thank you for the delicious meal. Delicious Foodie Diary.

Visited on a Friday night. It was my second stop, so I arrived around 9 pm. I was wandering around looking for a gyoza restaurant and ended up here! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Nino Nino, which I recently visited in Hakata, is also in Kansai! I tried some dishes other than gyoza for the first time, but I think this place is probably best known for its delicious gyoza. Well, that makes sense. The affordable prices on the menu are also appealing. I might just come back for some gyoza again sometime.

I went hopping in Soemon-cho. The atmosphere was like a Showa-era Chinese restaurant, which was great. I opted for the all-you-can-drink option (1,320 yen) for 90 minutes with last order at 50 minutes. Since draft beer was 528 yen, I chose that without hesitation. There were many types of alcohol to choose from, so I recommend it! I ended up having 6 glasses of draft beer and won the all-you-can-drink challenge (lol). The crispy spring rolls (462 yen) were wrapped in crispy vermicelli, giving a great texture. The pan-fried dumplings (275 yen) were on a special discounted price during the state of emergency period. The thin-skinned mini dumplings were crispy and well-seasoned with garlic. I felt like I could eat as many as I wanted. The Taiwanese fried chicken (495 yen) was also on a special discounted price during the state of emergency period, which was surprisingly cheap. It was juicy fried chicken with plenty of homemade sauce. Although I was full and ended up drinking more than eating, everything was delicious, so I want to go back to try other menu items.

During the epidemic prevention period, all food and beverage stores are forced to operate for a limited time. However, during this period, some places focus on attracting customers with special services. For example, offering 90 minutes of all-you-can-drink beer and Shaoxing wine for 1,320 yen, while also serving gyoza for 110 yen per person and Taipei-style fried chicken for 220 yen. The gyoza, with a crispy outer layer and a sweet filling, is a steal at 110 yen. The Taipei-style fried chicken, with a spicy sauce and a generous portion of thigh meat, is also a great deal at 220 yen for 4 pieces. We enjoyed multiple rounds of drinks during the 90-minute all-you-can-drink period, spending around 1,600 yen per person. It was a great value for a second stop on our night out.

I had been interested in this restaurant for a while. I love dumplings, so I ordered two servings. I also ordered spring rolls, and, and, and... I forgot (laughs). The dumplings were average, so I didn't take any photos. The spring rolls were completely different from what I imagined! They were wrapped in something like glass noodles and were crispy and delicious! And most importantly, the prices are cheap! The food and drinks are cheap too! The cost performance is the best! The only thing left is the taste! (laughs) Thank you for the meal!

Second stop on the dumpling tour is Nino Nino! The pan-fried dumplings were 7 for 250 yen. The skin was crispy and chewy, and even when they cooled down, they were still delicious. However, they were on the sweeter side, which may not be to everyone's taste. Personally, I thought they were tasty but not exactly my preference. Their signature dish, the spicy Sichuan mapo tofu, was 480 yen. It was full of spices and had a hint of sweetness, but it wasn't extremely spicy. The minced meat had a slightly strong meaty smell, which I didn't particularly like. This dish might appeal more to those who enjoy Taiwanese cuisine. (Please note that these are just my personal preferences.)

We went to this place for the second time. There are counter seats and table seats, but we chose a table seat for three people. The all-you-can-drink option is cheap. We ordered gyoza and yam wun sen. The gyoza was small, crispy on the outside, and had a thin skin - just the way I like it! Surprisingly, it was delicious even though it was cheap. The kiwi sour is a self-squeeze type, with a whole kiwi - quite luxurious. My friend loves Thai food, so she was excited about the yam wun sen. It seems to be quite busy earlier in the evening, but it was empty when we went later. Overall, it's a great cost-effective restaurant. We will definitely visit again.

It opened in Higashi-Shinsaibashi, right? It's really popular in Okinawa, and I have the impression that a Kyushu restaurant opening in Okinawa is very popular among the money-conscious locals there. I had never been there before, so I went to the one in Osaka. The restaurant has a very open layout where you can feel the flow of the street directly. It's a simple restaurant with a bright and clean atmosphere, and the menu is very affordable. I ordered two servings of 7 dumplings for 250 yen each, and they were bite-sized with a light seasoning, making them enjoyable to eat. You can easily finish two servings by yourself. The cost performance is excellent, and I also ordered mapo tofu and jellyfish, among other things. Everything was cheap, served quickly, and exactly as I had imagined. Despite the affordable prices, the service was good without any unpleasant feelings. Overall, I think it's a great restaurant for those who love dumplings for everyday use.

I passed by a gyoza restaurant and decided to go in. It seems to be a gyoza shop with its main store in Kumamoto. The happy hour prices are very cheap. Let's quench our thirst with a lemon sour. The alcohol content should be fine. There are some thin spots occasionally, but this one is not a problem. The gyoza has a nice color from being cooked well. They are bite-sized and easy to eat while drinking. The gyoza is simply delicious. I also ordered the Hakata specialty vinegar motsu that I enjoyed before. I eat it with yuzu pepper for a spicy kick. I finish with Tenshinhan. This is a Tenshinhan with a western Japan twist. I haven't tried the eastern Japan version of Tenshinhan. It is a chicken broth soup with soy sauce, thickened with a starchy sauce and topped with an egg and two whole prawns for a satisfying meal. The address is 6-7 Soemon-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka City.

Nino Ni - Gyoza restaurant✨✨✨✨✨✨ Located near Sotomachi in Minami, this Chinese-style restaurant has a casual street food vibe. It seems to be a chain, but the staff are friendly and the prices are surprisingly cheap! You'll be amazed by the prices! The portions are generous! - Vinegar tripe: 280 yen - Chinese jellyfish: 360 yen - Shrimp chili: 580 yen The quality is outstanding! The main dish, pan-fried dumplings, is crispy and delicious. For a satisfying finish, try the Mapo Tantanmen noodles for 480 yen. The portions are a bit small, but the flavors are fantastic with a good kick of spice. Delicious, affordable, and possibly the best value in Minami! I'll definitely be coming back to Nino Ni - Gyoza in Sotomachi. Phone: 050-5597-5893 Address: 6-7 Sotomachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka

Gyoza specialty restaurant with several locations in Kyushu region, visited the Osaka Nihonbashi branch for the first time. In addition to gyoza, they offer a wide variety of dishes. Ordered pan-fried gyoza, soup gyoza, boiled gyoza, vinegar pork tripe, crispy fried spring rolls, and three types of Shanghai shrimp chili gyoza, all of which were delicious. Other menu items also had good quality. A casual and convenient place to dine.

When I went to Hakata, I visited a restaurant that had a long waiting time in Osaka. It's located in a great spot in Soemoncho. I thought it would be crowded, but it was actually quite empty. Maybe it's because it's not well known in Hakata. Anyway, it's nice that it's not crowded here since I couldn't get in at Hakata. We ordered gyoza, mapo tofu, and a few other dishes. Maybe it's the atmosphere or the emptiness, but I wasn't impressed. I think I had too high expectations. Thank you for the meal.

I wasn't very hungry but I felt like having something to eat, so I decided to go to Nino Nino for some gyoza. I arrived early and it was Happy Hour (5:00-6:30), so the gyoza was half price at 125 yen!!! So cheap!!! They also had half price on draft beer, highball, lemon sour, shochu, and glass wine. I ordered two servings of gyoza, ban ban ji, leek and egg, and lu rou fan. The ban ban ji was delicious with steamed chicken in sesame sauce. The leek and egg was a bit on the salty side. The gyoza was small and easy to eat, with a crispy texture. And the lu rou fan that I tried for the first time was delicious! It had a good amount of volume and the pork belly and pickled vegetables went well with the rice. I had a snack in the afternoon before coming, so I didn't eat much, but the bill came out to just over 2,000 yen for two people!! The Happy Hour deal was amazing in terms of cost performance! Next time, I want to go when I'm really hungry!

Hello there. "Gyoza-ya Ninozouemon-cho" a popular restaurant from Fukuoka has finally opened in Osaka. Despite the lack of information when searching, the entrance is already packed due to its deliciousness and capacity. The menu is not too extensive but not too limited either. You can enjoy it in various situations. I ordered two servings of lemon gyoza as it was my second stop. The mapo tofu is also authentic. The main focus is on Chinese cuisine with some Asian elements. The gyoza is also delicious. The Yum Woon Sen is also authentic. With its capacity and delicious food, this place seems to be trending. Thank you for the meal. Goodbye for now.

This is a dumpling restaurant with its main store in Kumamoto, which I occasionally see in Hakata (and apparently also in Okinawa). I heard it was a popular restaurant from a friend in Kumamoto, so when I heard it opened in Soemon-cho, Osaka, I immediately visited. The two-story restaurant still feels new, with a spacious interior in a city Chinese style with a red color scheme. As I looked at the menu, I noticed that until 6:30 pm, there is a "Happy Hour half-price (dumplings, beer, etc.)" deal... (sweat) I felt a bit regretful that I didn't come earlier to get the deal, but I enjoyed my favorite beer to start. My colleagues ordered the food. While snacking on the classic "smashed cucumbers," we waited for the dumplings. The dumplings arrived quickly, with crispy skins and a good balance of filling, very delicious. Of course, I ordered another draft beer!! The "boiled dumplings" were wrapped in a chewy, slightly thick skin, bursting with juicy meat, very tasty!! Whenever I eat dumplings, I always end up in a "beer spiral," so I switched to a highball early. The "spicy mapo tofu" was unexpectedly delicious. For me, it wasn't very spicy, but the balance of spiciness and "doubanjiang" was very good. This dish led me into a "highball spiral" (laughs & sweat) It was a superb dish. Overall, the prices are cheap, and in terms of price, quantity, and taste, it is truly a "high CP value city Chinese restaurant." I have decided to revisit this dumpling and Chinese restaurant after a long time. Of course, I will make sure to enter by 6:00 pm... (laughs)
