I've always wanted to go to Sushi Sushi! First of all, the freshness of the seafood was outstanding! The impact when I first put the sushi in my mouth was indescribable, it was truly amazing! The fact that you can enjoy this quality for less than 300 yen per piece is a strong point of Sushi Sushi! However, if I were to mention one downside, it would be that you cannot make reservations, so you have to arrive at the restaurant 30 to 60 minutes before the time you want to go. I arrived a little after 7 o'clock, but I didn't actually get a seat until after 8 o'clock.

We had to wait a bit before entering the restaurant, but it was within acceptable limits for a Friday night. We were able to get in at a good time since there is a 2-hour limit. We ordered the Ebi Seven with Uni, Potato Salad, Namerou, and a few pieces of sushi. Everything was delicious and we were very satisfied.

Around 5:30 pm on Saturday, there were 3 groups waiting, and the line kept growing. We were able to enter around 6:00 pm. We ordered sesame amberjack for ¥700, tuna assortment for ¥530, shrimp assortment for ¥750, salmon assortment for ¥430, fatty tuna roll for ¥980, shirako tempura for ¥500, squid legs tempura for ¥480, Ishigaki clam (2 pieces) for ¥220, sea bream (2 pieces) for ¥260, tuna (2 pieces) for ¥280, and fried grass shrimp for ¥380 (excluding tax). This seafood izakaya is popular on Instagram, and I had been curious about it for a while. The restaurant opens at 5:00 pm, and there was already a line at 5:30. During busy times, there is a 2-hour time limit. I had been wanting to visit this place, but I was unsure if I wanted to wait in line again. So, I ended up ordering a lot of food with enthusiasm. The sesame amberjack stole my heart with its firm texture, perfect sweetness of the sesame sauce, and rich flavor. The assorted sashimi was satisfying with large pieces of fresh fish. The toro fatty tuna roll was a visual delight, with more toro than rice, and it melted in my mouth. The shirako tempura was a first for me, and it retained the softness of the shirako while being nicely fried. The squid legs were thicker than expected, providing a good chew. The Ishigaki clam was soft and lacked the expected chewiness. The sea bream and tuna were also large pieces with great flavor. The grass shrimp was surprisingly big and crunchy, a delight to eat! After all that food, the bill for two people was under ¥7,000, which was a pleasant surprise as I was prepared to spend ¥8,000 to ¥10,000. The drinks are cheap, and the food is high quality for the price. Waiting in line is tough, but I would love to visit again!

Z generation people always line up in parallel rows at Sushi Bar Sasisu. I was curious because I love sushi! It seems that they are scouting sushi chefs who had to close their shops due to the pandemic, and all the chefs are professionals. The prices are slightly higher than conveyor belt sushi, but you can eat much cheaper than going to a sushi restaurant. The specialty Toro Tekkamaki was outstandingly delicious. The rice was average, but the huge portion of fatty tuna Toro was overflowing from the roll, and I took a big bite. Mmm, it's so tasty! All the sushi has better freshness and taste than conveyor belt sushi. The eel was freshly grilled and fluffy, unlike the cold and tough ones at conveyor belt sushi. The only disappointment was the quality of the nodoguro, which was similar to conveyor belt sushi. The white fish tempura was surprisingly lacking any fishy smell despite being cheap. However, the texture was disappointing as it was cooked for too long, lacking the desired softness. The grilled fish head was impressive with its large tai head, providing a satisfying crunch. The pickled ginger had a unique taste, almost like cola...? Overall, the dishes have good value for money, offering a more delicious dining experience than conveyor belt sushi, with snacks and drinks available. You can expect to spend around 3,000 to 4,000 yen per person. Compared to Fukuoka's top sushi restaurants, it's a completely different experience, but I think this is a place where you can enjoy eating and drinking and leave satisfied. Thank you for the meal. It's a clean and welcoming restaurant that is popular among female customers. They offer a variety of sushi options, and I tried the Nodoguro which was delicious with its rich flavor. They also have a set with three types of blue fish, including amazing horse mackerel. They serve sake as well, so it's a great place in Hakata to enjoy sushi and drinks in a casual atmosphere.

The appearance is impactful, and when you go, it's all girls. People are ordering potato salad, ikura, and shrimp. The taste is really delicious, especially the ikura. It was great. I happened to find it and it was delicious!

I went to Sushi Sakaba Sashisu in Imazumi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City for drinks at night. Around 20 people were waiting at around 6:30 pm on a weekday. I waited for about an hour to be seated. As of March 2023, reservations are not accepted, and there is a 2-hour seating limit, so be aware of that. The sushi rice is on the smaller side, allowing you to enjoy the toppings. Most of the dishes that come out quickly are small plates meant for one person. I would like to visit again, but it was disappointing that I didn't feel much consideration from the staff.

I was on a business trip in Fukuoka and came across an interesting sushi and sake bar on social media, so I decided to visit on Sunday. I arrived with a friend at 1:40 PM and we were seated at the counter. I had oolong tea while my friend had a draft beer and a green tea highball. We ordered the following dishes: Ebi 7seven for 980 yen, Sesame Kanpachi for 700 yen, Saba Can Salad for 490 yen, Maguro Liver Sashimi-style for 490 yen, Potato Fries with Yukari for 390 yen, Potato Fries with Bonito Flakes for 390 yen, and an Unagi Katsu Sandwich for 980 yen. The total came to 6,138 yen including tax, which was about 3,000 yen per person. We tried the dishes that were recommended on social media. The Saba Can Salad looked fun and appetizing. The Maguro Liver Sashimi-style used tuna cheek meat and had a meat-like texture, resembling liver sashimi. The Unagi Katsu Sandwich had crispy grilled eel which was delicious with a nice texture. I tried some unique dishes to learn something new. "Mackerel Salad" was delicious with mackerel canned and chopped raw onions. It had a well-balanced taste. "Tuna Liver Style" was made with sliced tuna cheek meat, sesame oil, and garlic, resembling white liver. "Eel Cutlet Sandwich" had crispy grilled eel, giving it a great texture. Having lunch drinks at a sushi izakaya. They have a wide variety of small dishes and you can also order sushi by the plate, so it's easy to want to try a bit of everything. The service is surprisingly quick, and the alcohol goes down smoothly. Today, we started with a toast with beer and then enjoyed a cheerful drinking session with cup wine. It was delicious. The restaurant was quite crowded, probably because it was the weekend! I forgot to take a picture, but the sesame mackerel and meat sushi were delicious. The potato salad with salmon roe and flying fish eggs was gone in no time. The salmon sashimi was so creamy and disappeared quickly. I'm not a fan of shrimp, so I didn't eat it, but my friends enjoyed it. Lastly, I tried the potato with bonito flakes and sweet sauce, which was an interesting combination and surprisingly addictive taste.

Two people spent about 8000 yen. Great value for money! We arrived after 4:00 pm on a holiday and were able to get a table. By 5:00 pm, there was already a wait, so it's better to come early. We ordered dishes like simmered eggplant, sesame mackerel, sea urchin, mackerel sushi, tuna sushi, white fish sushi, meat sushi, fatty tuna, eel sushi, salmon sushi, amberjack sushi, and chawanmushi. All the sashimi was fresh and delicious! Especially the fatty tuna sushi had a generous amount of fatty tuna, making me feel guilty for enjoying it so much. I recently saw it on the internet and finally got to go to the restaurant I wanted to go to. I called the day before to confirm a relatively less crowded time. I visited around 3:00 PM as there were fewer customers during 3:00-5:00 PM. I liked the sushi restaurant's potato salad (no photo). Also, the local sour drink was delicious. Delicious restaurant "Sashisu" I always come here when on a business trip. The fish is crispy and delicious. The place is always full of young people and couples. The cost performance is great, and the fish is fresh. I always start with a sashimi platter and chawanmushi. Then, I choose based on my mood. Today, the yellowtail is crispy and delicious. Before, the sea bream was crispy and tasty. Truly grateful for the blessings of the Genkai Sea's delicacies.

I also got some snacks like canned mackerel salad, which was good mixed together. I enjoyed the dried squid tempura, perfect for nibbling on. I ordered a Premium Malt beer for 580 yen, two Highballs for 290 yen each, a Toro Taku Roll for 980 yen, Wasabi Edamame for 290 yen, Mozuku for 280 yen, Kanpachi for 260 yen, Ebi 7 for 980 yen, and Seared Kamasu Nigiri for 350 yen, totaling 4,730 yen. The Toro Taku Roll had a satisfying amount of food. The Ebi 7 had a rich and delicious sweetness from the sweet shrimp. The Kamasu was fragrant and tasty. This sushi restaurant offers great value for the price.

Sushi Izakaya? Sushi Sakaba Sasisu Tenjin-tenjin store? I think this is Imazumi, but maybe because of the local area, it seems like a lot of young people. I visited alone around 6 pm, and I was able to enter right away. I sit in the corner of the counter. For now, I order a draft beer (fragrant ale) and quickly order uni-kun, sushi restaurant's potato salad, and dried squid tempura from the menu. The potato salad came quickly! It has salmon roe and flying fish roe on top! Soon, the "uni-kun" appears! I eat it by wrapping uni around seared Japanese beef. Even though the smell of fishiness is just within acceptable limits (^^;), it's quite pricey (including tax, 638 yen) for a menu item you want to try. As a snack for drinking at home, I like Matsuba Fry! The squid tempura is soft, so I like it even more ( ´∀｀) It comes with mayonnaise and curry powder. Before eating sushi, I have some sake. I choose a glass of Yamano Jou (Fukuoka) Junmai Ginjo. Mmm! It certainly is fruity! Now, should I order some sushi? I order the popular three-piece set, the Tuna Trio, and the White Fish Trio. The sushi is served quickly! I had to wait a bit for the tempura (･_･;) The Tuna Trio includes lean tuna, marinated tuna, and medium fatty tuna. The White Fish Trio includes sea bream, flounder, and olive flounder (which is called Akamutsu in Fukuoka). It costs over 1,200 yen for 6 pieces, but I found it a bit lacking, so I add a Blue Three (gizzard shad, horse mackerel, mackerel). It is served right away. Oh? The mackerel is not raw?! Since the shop itself is Kansai-style, it can't be helped (･_･;) Well, the horse mackerel was delicious as usual, but I'm not a fan of gizzard shad... I was looking forward to the mackerel too (-｡-; If you want to eat high-quality sushi, it might be better to go to a local restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

Reservations are not accepted, so you have to go on the day. There is usually a line these days. On the flip side, if there's no line, you can be seated right away. There are a variety of sushi options, and while the sushi isn't exceptional or made quickly, it's more like an izakaya than a sushi restaurant. This balance is just right. It's a place that you'll want to keep coming back to regularly.

I visited the popular "Sushi Sakaba Sashisu" today - it was my second stop so I didn't plan on ordering much, but I couldn't resist and ended up ordering my favorites: shrimp, tuna, and yellowtail. They were all incredibly delicious! I will definitely come back again.
