I finally went to "Superjap" in Nihonbashi. I had heard rumors about it being a very popular spot, and it was indeed packed. It was bustling with people. The men's mama had blue eyeshadow like a Showa-era gal. There were many regular customers. People were having a great time chatting and enjoying drinks together. It seems like a place where you can easily come alone as well. There are tables outside, so if it's full inside, you can sit outside. It was Saturday, so there were a lot of people. It's more about having a fun, lively time rather than focusing on the food being delicious.

This time it's Nihonbashi. The location is a little south of Nihonbashi Station, near Kuromon Market. The interior of the restaurant has only a counter with seating for about 15 people. There are three staff members at the counter who seem to prioritize conversation over serving food. First, for drinks, a canned chu-hi is 500 yen. The owner confirmed, "We only have canned drinks for 500 yen, is that okay?" I accepted it as a cover charge. The appetizer is 200 yen for one skewer of horumon (offal). The horumon is not as delicious as the premium ones like Yamaki in Nishinari, but it is tough and tasty. However, the popularity of this restaurant is more likely due to the owner's personality, hospitality, and the overall atmosphere of the place. Near the Kuromon Market in Osaka, we visited a standing bar specializing in grilled hormone skewers for our 8th stop on our second day in Osaka. The exterior of the shop caught our attention, and the interior had a very deep atmosphere. The shop is run by the production company of a movie called "Chicken Star," and the staff members even appeared in the film. We started with a toast with highball! We ordered Galibata Chicken, pickled vegetables, and Dote Cheese Yaki. The Dote Cheese Yaki paired perfectly with the alcohol! For our next drink, we tried the recommended coffee shochu, which was smooth and delicious. By the way, the entrance has an automatic door, but it is broken, so you have to open it manually.
