I went to work in Kokura and found a stylish sandwich shop in front of Kyushu Dental University. I purchased a Mandarin Orange and Kiwi sandwich for 450 yen. The cross-section looked stylish and the sweetness of the cream was just right, it was delicious! I thought it was similar to the high-end soft serve ice cream Crema (lol). I want to try more varieties, so I will visit again!

There is a coin parking nearby the parking lot. I found a stylish fruit sandwich shop next to the udon restaurant Harebare and decided to try it out. They have a variety of sandwiches including Kobe beef croquette sandwich and teriyaki sandwich, as well as fruit sandwiches, coffee, and tea. The fruit sandwich I tried was reasonably priced at 300 yen each. The bite-sized shape made it easy to eat and the fruits were juicy and sweet, very delicious. The cream inside complemented the fruit well. I enjoyed it and would like to come back again.

Egg Sandwich 400 yen. I arrived late so only the egg sandwich was left. I was hoping for the Pineapple ARMY and Condensed Milk Strawberry Sandwiches, but oh well. This sandwich is very eggy. It already has a lot of egg, and then a whole boiled egg is also sandwiched in it. It's like a new egg sandwich declaration. I wish the taste of salt and pepper was a bit stronger, but it's still delicious. They accept PayPay.

A shop in Maizuru that offers a variety of deli-style sandwiches, including fruit sandwiches. I couldn't find any deli sandwiches that caught my eye, and the prices were a bit high, but I decided to buy a pineapple sandwich. I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious. The pineapple was juicy, with just the right amount of acidity that perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the cream. If there was more cream, it would spoil the goodness of the pineapple, and if there was less, the acidity would overpower the sandwich. It seems like they really experimented to find the perfect balance, or perhaps they just have a great sense of taste. If it was a bit cheaper, I would have become a heavy user for sure.

I visited Emu-san, a new fruit sandwich shop in my neighborhood. The shop seems to be mostly for takeout, with only a few seats available for dining in. I ordered an avocado sandwich and a strawberry cream sandwich. The sandwiches arrived quickly and when I tried them, the softness of the bread was excellent. The fillings were all fresh and crunchy, with big lettuce leaves and other ingredients. Both sandwiches were delicious, with the cream having a nice bitter taste. I thought it might be just another typical chain store, but it turned out to be a pretty tasty sandwich shop. The only downside was that the eating area was too close to where the staff were working. Overall, it was a good meal.

I visited "emu" on a whim on this day.
◇Exterior and Interior
This sandwich shop is located near the dental university in Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu City. The interior of the shop can also be used as a cafe, and personally, it is a type of place that I am not familiar with in this area. That's how stylish the shop is.
◇Seating
I used takeout today, so I will skip this part.
◇Menu Structure
The sandwiches are divided into three types: fruit sandwiches, children's sandwiches, and fluffy egg sandwiches. There are about 10 types of fruit sandwiches, children's sandwiches are what you would call a rice sandwich, and the fluffy egg sandwich looks voluminous and delicious. I ordered the following:
- Condensed milk strawberry sandwich (520 yen) → Including tax. Among the fruit sandwiches, it was recommended for the day. To be honest, it was not overly sweet and sticky, which is good! However, my knowledge of fruit sandwiches is limited, and I am not a fan of fruits... haha. But even someone like me could eat it and find it delicious, so it must be of considerable quality!
◆Strong Points
Enjoying a sandwich in a stylish cafe setting.
◆Customer Service
Average.
◆Summary
It's nice to dine in the cafe, but considering the nature of sandwiches, it could also be a good idea to use them as gifts. Depending on the person, it could be quite appreciated and enjoyed. Thank you for the meal! ^ ^

Located a little off National Route 3, right in front of the entrance to Kyushu Dental University, this small sandwich shop offers a wide variety of sandwiches. From trendy fruit sandwiches to hearty options like shrimp cutlet, teriyaki, and egg sandwiches, there's something for everyone. The Fruit Mix Sandwich (400 yen) with pineapple and grapes is visually appealing, while the Apple Sandwich (450 yen) features sweet, tender stewed apples with a hint of cinnamon. The bread is soft, and the cream, although not very sweet, is generously spread, creating a well-balanced and satisfying taste. The staff are friendly, making it a pleasant dining experience.

First visit in May 2021, in front of the dental school, at the sandwich specialty shop ému for eat-in. Just opened in April, offering both take-out and eat-in options. The brand-new interior has tables and counter seats. The showcase displays delicious sandwiches. You can also order hot sandwiches or items not in the case. The whole kiwi and condensed milk strawberry sandwich with whipped cream was delicious, packed with fruits. The young cabbage tonkatsu sandwich had a slightly sweet sauce and plenty of cabbage, which was nice. The shrimp cutlet sandwich had crispy lettuce and a perfect match with the aurora sauce. The whole egg sandwich had chopped egg mayo on top of sliced egg, overflowing with flavor. The prices were reasonable and the taste was great. Next time, I will try the teriyaki sandwich. There is no parking lot, but there is a coin-operated parking lot in front of the store. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this place for lunch on a regular day. They have two tables and around 5-6 seats at the counter. I ordered:
1. Fluffy and creamy egg sandwich (chicken) for 560 yen
2. Dalgona coffee for 350 yen
The egg sandwich was made with Danish-style bread toasted with butter, filled with sweet eggs and chicken. The combination of buttery saltiness and sweet eggs was really delicious! The Dalgona coffee was beautiful with two colors and tasted great. They told me that you can make it by floating ice in milk and pouring whipped coffee on top. I also bought four different fruit sandwiches to take home. The staff was very kind, and I definitely want to visit this place again!

Eating two bacon hot sandwiches while they were still warm to take home was lucky. Probably because if they get cold... haha. The sandwiches were filled with plenty of scrambled eggs, cheese, and thick-cut bacon. In terms of content, it might be a bit pricey. The sandwiches were wrapped in a bag for takeout, along with a small transparent plastic bag. I wish there was a better alternative for packaging. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I went to the restaurant with high expectations that they would surely be displayed in the showcase an hour after opening. However, there weren't many options available at that time, which left me disappointed. I was able to take some photos today though! Yesterday, I took home some shrimp cutlet sandwiches, egg sandwiches, and muscat grapes. The seating area had two two-seater tables, one window-side two-seater table, and a restroom in the back, making it a comfortable place to eat. There were three efficient female staff members working in the kitchen, and the cute staff member at the counter helped me with my order. The man who seemed to be the owner was a bit intimidating. The muscat grape sandwich was similar to one from a famous shop, but I haven't tried it yet, so please try it yourself! When I showed it to my colleagues, they thought it looked expensive. The egg sandwich had a perfectly runny egg with a well-seasoned taste, and the shrimp cutlet sandwich was also delicious.

I heard that my daughter opened a sandwich shop, and as a big fan of sandwiches, I was excited to try it out. I finally made it there just before closing time and was greeted by two clean and friendly women. There were only a few sandwiches left in the display case, and I managed to grab one called "Oh my Gosh" - a lucky find at the last minute! I bought four sandwiches as a gift for the person I had kept waiting and for myself, including orange and chocolate banana flavors. I didn't really check out the inside of the shop because I was in a rush, but I think there were seats available. The interior was clean and cute, with a white theme. I was a bit flustered when asking about the opening hours, and I'm not sure if the shop's name is spelled "Emu" or "Imu" - please correct me if I'm wrong. Besides the fruit sandwich (400 yen), they also had vegetable and teriyaki sandwiches available. I was too flustered to take a photo, but the sandwich was satisfyingly large. The meal sandwiches looked delicious, but I'll have to try them next time. I assume they also offer drinks. I shared the sandwich with my friend and we both enjoyed it. It was big and tasty, with a good balance of cream and not too sweet. The orange was a bit hard to eat, but the chocolate banana with the cookie inside made me feel happy. The bread was moist but not overly so, just right. The prices were reasonable, and I think I'll be coming back to this nice shop with its friendly service and cleanliness. I'll make sure to take lots of photos next time!
