Well, it's tasty but you can't eat it calmly. It says "drips easily" and it's hot so I can't complain, but it drips so quickly that it surprised me... By the time I got to my seat, it was already dripping. I had to hurry to eat it, so I couldn't really savor the taste. It was more like fighting with the soft serve ice cream rather than enjoying it, and in the end, it felt like I had "defeated" it.

The shop is located just off the shopping street, making it a great place to stop by when you're craving something sweet or want a cup of coffee. With a takeout coffee option for 100 yen and a space where you can buy from outside the shop, it's very convenient.

Popular restaurant "UOVO" in Itoshima opened near Hakata Kushida Shrine last year. I stopped by for dessert after lunch. The menu includes morning sets available from 8 am, pudding, and soft serve ice cream. ■ Angel's Custard Soft Serve Ice Cream This handmade custard soft serve ice cream is made with rare fertilized eggs and Itomono-gatari. It doesn't have a strong milk flavor, but it is rich in taste. Since it contains custard, it melts quickly, so you have to eat it quickly! Thank you for the meal.

I visited the dessert shop UOVO in Hakata. They use eggs from Itoshima City, and the desserts were very rich and delicious. The portion size was larger than I expected. The flavor was rich and very tasty. It was convenient that they accepted PayPay. The service was also polite and they provided helpful information.

Took a day off and entered winter break a day early. UOVO from Itoshima has opened at the entrance of Kawabata Shotengai, in front of Kushida Shrine! UOVO is known for being a shop visited by Rino-chan (HKT48's Rino Sakamoto). They offer a morning set starting from 8 am, which includes a special bread called BUINO (normally 220 yen) and a drink (I had the Trajano Noir, normally 420 yen) for 500 yen. There is no seating inside, just a small counter and two chairs outside. It's a bit chilly, but I enjoyed my meal there. The coffee, brewed using a paper drip machine, was a generous size with a rich bitterness or astringency that was delicious even when cooled down. Actually, it might be even better when it's cold? And the BUINO had a crispy surface with a soft, buttery bread underneath, reminiscent of a melon pan with an egg yolk-like cookie dough on top. It's a shame that it's only available at the Hakata store. Also, it seems that Mihorin (Maho Tanaka, who recently graduated from STU48) visited here as well, so it was a coincidental connection!

The rich and creamy custard soft serve melts in your mouth, not too sweet and easy to eat! It definitely has a strong custard flavor rather than just milk. They seem to be particular about the eggs they use! Apart from the soft serve, they have a variety of other products that I would like to try!

Fukuoka Prefecture's Itoshima Farmhouse UOVO offers sweets and bread made with "Tenjo Eggs" from their own chicken farm in Itoshima. The second store, Itoshima Farmhouse UOVO Hakata Store, has opened near the entrance of the Kawabata Shopping Street close to Canal City. They offer all their sweets and bread for takeout, with seating available outside for a quick bite. The takeout lineup includes items like "HAKATA BUONO" egg bread for 200 yen, "UOVO Pudding" for 420 yen, and "Tenjo Egg Roll Cake" for 1,550 yen per roll. They also serve drinks such as Torajanoir Coffee, UOVO Original Blend Coffee, Chai Latte, Matcha Latte, and black tea. I tried the standard UOVO Pudding and Coffee flavor, which had a rich egg taste and a smooth texture, served with caramel sauce. The Coffee flavor had a strong coffee taste with a hint of bitterness, making it a hit for coffee lovers. It's a great option for a quick gift.

"UOVO" in Kamikawabata: Serving Itoshima Eggs in Bread Located near the southern side of Kamikawabata Shopping Street, close to Kushida Shrine, is the newly opened "UOVO." It's a cafe that specializes in Itoshima eggs. The place seems to have just opened, and there are flowers from Hawks players on display. They offer a bread called "HAKATABUONO" for 100 yen, which has a cute shape but tastes sweet, with a crispy top. It's more like a snack for children. We also tried their Tamago Kake Gohan (TKG) made with the same eggs used in the bread, priced at 270 yen. It seems they open early in the morning. "Itojima Farmhouse UOVO" has opened as the second store, located near the Kawabata-dori shopping street. They offer sweets and bread made with "Tensho eggs" from their own chicken farm in Itojima. The name "UOVO" means "egg" in Italian, and even the packaging features eggs. The staff mentioned that it is a cafe in Itojima where many men also visit. I, assuming they meant young men, bought the special egg bread "HAKATA BUONO" (200 yen) and took it home. It was warm and freshly baked. The cookie in the center uses egg yolk, and the surface of the bread is finished with egg white. The surface was crispy, and the inside was moist. I could also taste the buttery saltiness.

Near Gion Station in Fukuoka, there is a new sweets shop that opened at the end of October, focusing on using ingredients from Itoshima. Although there is a takeout window, there doesn't seem to be any seating for dining inside, just a showcase and a register like a cake shop. The signature menu item seems to be bread, but after walking a bit from Nakasu Kawabata Station, I felt like having something cold, so I bought soft serve ice cream. Angel Custard Soft Serve Ice Cream (450 yen): It is said to use nutritious eggs from heaven. It melts more easily than regular soft serve, but on a day like today with mild weather and no wind, it's not a problem. The texture is very smooth and indeed melts smoothly. In terms of richness, it's not overwhelmingly sweet, which is good for those who don't like overly sweet treats. It has a cream puff flavor to it, which I quite like. Additionally, I was surprised by the generous portion size. Many high-end and ingredient-focused sweets shops tend to offer small portions at high prices, but this soft serve has a good amount. Despite not having seating for dining in and being a new store, it is always crowded. It seems like the Itoshima brand is strong. They accept payment via PayPay.

This is a cafe in between the Kamikawabata shopping street and the Kokutai Road, originating from Itoshima. Here, you can purchase various products made with Itoshima's branded eggs, "Tenjou Tamago." In addition to eggs and egg-based products, the shop also offers a variety of other local products. I purchased the Hakata Bonno, which is only available at the Hakata store. I brought home the Hakata Bonno morning set and a crescent. The crescent costs 300 yen and is a praline in the shape of a crescent coated with almond syrup. The Hakata Bonno morning set, which includes a drink, costs 500 yen, or 200 yen for just the bread. The bread has a crispy exterior and a buttery interior, with a crispy langues de chat for the white part and a cookie made with egg yolk for the yellow part. I ordered the Tragano Noir coffee (usually 420 yen) as the drink for the set. The shop is located a little further into the Kamikawabata shopping street from the Kokutai Road.
