Hello everyone! It's Auru here. Tonight, I'm hopping between a few different places. I stumbled upon a small shop in a narrow alley and decided to enter. The shop had a counter with about 5 or 6 seats. There was a regular salaryman customer and a woman who seemed like another regular. As soon as I entered, a reservation call came in, so I had to wait for a bit. I ordered a sweet potato shochu and cod milt with ponzu sauce. The appetizer cost 350 yen. The cod milt with ponzu sauce was delicious and had a good portion size. However, the timing of my visit may have been off because I didn't have any conversation with the staff. I should have tried ordering more food and starting a conversation, but I had another appointment to get to, so I quickly checked out after about 20 minutes. Add color to your food. Add color to your life. Add color to your life. Thank you for the meal! (´uA`)

When I peeked in, the sign was shining brightly. I decided to take a closer look and it read "Yotteko Standing Bar Tekuteku." It seemed like a familiar place, with winding alleyways. Although it said standing bar, I could see chairs inside. I approached and saw a lady running the place by herself. I ordered a beer, a Premium Malt for ¥380. The atmosphere was nice, so I enjoyed a drink before heading home. The complimentary dish was a Spicy Salad, not too heavy on the mayo. The shop had a variety of Ishikawa prefecture seafood, including a rare dried fish called Megisu for ¥380 each. It was delicious and I couldn't stop eating it. I also had a sake from Kyoto called Ginmeisui Shikomi Furusato for ¥850. It was a bit dry but tasty. I followed it up with a Chef's Choice Sashimi plate for ¥680, featuring beautiful sea bream. I savored each bite with a Ponzu sauce. The sea bream was so good, it made me feel great. The hamachi was also delicious, and I made sure not to leave any leftovers. The meal ended with a refreshing taste of shiso leaf. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. Thank you for the meal, I will definitely visit again.

After work, I really wanted to have a drink, so I wandered around Namba. I couldn't find a place where a solo female could go in easily, but then I stumbled upon a standing bar in a narrow alley! A bit nervous, I walked past the front of the shop once. It looked like a lady was running the place alone. And even though it said standing bar, there were seats! So, I decided to give it a try. A solo standing bar. The location was very close to Namba Station. Before I knew it, I had arrived there while wandering around. The interior had only a counter with about six seats. Even though it said standing bar, there were seats! A solo female customer was there too. It's easier for women to enter, I guess. I ordered a beer right away! Ahh, this is what I was looking for! After taking a breather, the lady started talking to me. It's fun to be able to chat with the staff when you go drinking alone, isn't it? The appetizer was also delicious. So, I also ordered some food. When I asked for recommendations, they suggested the sashimi. I ordered the tuna. It was really good, and the portion was generous for the price. I also ordered some spring rolls. The filling was seasoned well and went great with beer. It was different from the spring rolls we have at home and was delicious. I ended up ordering a few more dishes, thinking I would only have one drink, but ended up having three... And before I knew it, an older gentleman also arrived, and the place was full. It's a popular spot, it seems. I'll definitely have to come back here when I feel like drinking alone again! Thank you for the meal. *By the way, they said they don't allow photos for first-time customers, so there are no pictures this time.

The restaurant is located in a narrow alley and it seems like they charge for registration on food review websites. The online reviews mentioned a bright atmosphere, but when I visited on a weekday, the small shop gave off a cold vibe as I was completely ignored. The standout dish was the soy sauce-marinated yuba, which had a strong and old soy sauce flavor. The sashimi lacked freshness and the kushikatsu was average, but difficult to dip in the sauce. Overall, it was my personal worst dining experience of the year and I will definitely not be revisiting this restaurant.

The name "Toshiie Yokocho" is not clear, but it may be related to Toshiie Ono, who helped the Akō rōnin during their attack. Nearby, there is a new shop run by a 26-year-old owner who recently moved from Jūsann. It is a small shop with seating for 6-8 people, offering a variety of drinks and dishes, including a delicious "Pork Hormone Stew" and a unique "Miso Stir-fry." The atmosphere is cozy and they are offering a special on Premium Malt beer until the 28th. You can also use a GURUNAVI coupon or try their 10-drink Shochu ticket for 3000 yen. Check out the blog for more details.
