The other day, I was in the mood for curry and was invited to Lea Lea in Zakouma, which I had been curious about for some time. On Wednesdays, it seems that a drinking party is held with regular customers at the back table, and luckily I was able to join them. Until now, they were only open at night on Wednesdays, and there were such events in the back, but now they are open as a bar in the evenings on other days as well, and they also serve curry. *This is what I heard, so if you plan to go, please contact the restaurant to confirm.
So, on that Wednesday night at Lea Lea, when I arrived at the restaurant, my friends and other regular customers were already enjoying oden at the back of the restaurant. I immediately joined them and tried the oden, which was delicious, but not a regular menu item, so since it was my first time there, I ordered the Chicken Curry in a large portion. When the Chicken Curry arrived, it had a large chicken leg that was incredibly tender and cooked through, giving it quite an impressive appearance! The chicken was so tender that it could be easily separated with chopsticks, and it was delicious. The curry itself had a good balance of richness, spiciness, and a hint of sweetness, perhaps from a chutney, making it also very tasty. I finished it in no time and had a great time there. I am interested in trying other curries as well, so I will make sure to visit again. Thank you for the meal.
