When passing by Hachitendo, I noticed a poster that caught my attention. It was for a Kyushu-exclusive coffee milk. I decided to buy it along with other items like anko butter bread, custard bread, and chocolate bread. The classic cold soft cream bread had a smooth texture that everyone would enjoy. The custard in the custard bread was delightful and the Kyushu-exclusive coffee milk cream was indeed like coffee milk. It was delicious.

Fukuoka's Yamakasa week. I knew about Yatetendo, but I didn't know there were Kyushu limited flavors! And it's coffee milk flavor!! Fukuoka is great...shimijimi. They provided a cooler with ice packs for up to 2 hours. Thank you for the meal!! Next time, I will buy a lot as souvenirs!!

This is "Ippin Street" on the 1st floor of Hakata Station!! I bought some croissants from a popular croissant specialty shop in the prefecture, and next to it, there was "Yamazaki Bakery" from Hiroshima. Since there are no stores in Sendai, and the Sapporo store has closed, there is not a single store north of the Tohoku region, which is sad. So, although it's not a Fukuoka souvenir, I bought some to take home. There are a total of 7 types, costing almost 320 yen in total! ●Cream bread (custard) 320 yen ●Cream bread (Amaou strawberry jam) 350 yen ★★ Limited time offer ★★ I really like the cream bread from Yamazaki Bakery! I've only had it twice before, but I suddenly felt like having it again, so I made the effort to bring it back to Sendai. The shape got a little messed up, but when I ate it the next day, it was still delicious. Thank you for the meal! 【Tabelog】 ☆3.17 【Tanuki rating (lunch)】 ★Overall... 36 points ★Atmosphere... 7 points ★Food... 7 points ★Menu variety... 8 points ★Cost performance... 7 points ★Likelihood to revisit... 7 points

I purchased the Cream Pan with Custard Filling (320 yen). I ate it right away as it is said to be more delicious when cold. The filling was very light! It was so delicious. The cream and custard were mixed together, not separated. And it was so refreshing being cold. The outer layer had a raw feeling, and both the filling and the outer layer had a raw texture that I love. It was fluffy and I could eat it quickly because it was so delicious. I finished it in no time, along with the 320 yen and the calories. It felt like I didn't eat much compared to a regular cream pan, but it was much more delicious. However, it was significantly more expensive than a regular cream pan. Oh, and it was small! I wish it was a bit bigger... I'm curious about the difference between this one and the cream pan from FamilyMart. By the way, the one from FamilyMart was cheaper and delicious, but considering the cost performance, I would rate this one 3.5 stars.

At this time of year, they have amaou strawberries. A Kyushu-exclusive coffee milk is also available, which is cute. It's a convenient shop for souvenirs, just a 1-minute walk from the Chikushi Shinkansen exit. For more details, please check out https://namiweb0703.com/hattendo/. You can now enjoy chestnut cream bread. In autumn sweets, chestnuts are a must-try. They may sell out, so if you want one, get it early. They offer free ice packs for 2 hours or paid option for up to 7 hours. The coffee milk limited to Kyushu is also recommended.

The cream puffs from Hachitendo are really delicious. I always feel like eating them regularly, so this time I got takeout again. These cream puffs are meant to be eaten cold. Even when chilled, they remain moist and have a fluffy soufflé-like texture, with a cream filling that isn't too sweet. This time, I also bought chocolate and coffee milk, which were not overly sweet and had just the right balance of chocolate and coffee flavors.

This is a branch of "Yamazaki Bakery," famous for its cream bread in Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, in Fukuoka City. Among the various types of cream bread, I purchased a product called "Coffee Milk" (280 yen). For some reason, this product cannot be purchased in the home base of Hiroshima Prefecture. I heard that it is only sold at "Yamazaki Bakery" stores in Fukuoka and Oita Prefectures. Those who are familiar with "Yamazaki Bakery" cream bread in Hiroshima Prefecture may find the existence of such a mysterious product interesting, so I decided to bring it as a gift to my workplace when I visited Hiroshima Prefecture. The store even provided a cold pack. I tried one myself. The dough is moist and fluffy with a good melt-in-your-mouth texture. The cream, with a moderate sweetness, is plentiful. It definitely has a coffee flavor. It harmonizes well without any major flaws and was delicious.

If you don't buy something like that, you don't have the right to write a review... Just kidding, there's a guy who's fine with posting about a 80 yen snack. The store became a nationwide boom about 10 years ago. The Kokura store finally opened about 5 years ago, after the boom had lasted about 1 and a half laps. There was also one in Hakata. So I bought some. However, I always think that the bread doesn't have a strong aroma when it's cold, the cream is already inside, so it lacks freshness, and it feels a bit soggy. But well, during the boom, there were long lines, so it's nice that you can buy it quickly now. I always think about trying it half-frozen next time. I'll definitely try it next time.

Cream bread shop located outside the Shinkansen side of Hakata Station, on Hakata Ippin Street. It was quite popular a while ago. I wanted something sweet, so I bought a Cream & Fresh Cream Bread for 250 yen including tax. The bread dough was quite moist, just like I remembered, but it seems like there is less cream inside. The sweetness is mild. It might be my memory playing tricks on me, but I was a little disappointed.

On this day, I casually stopped by "Hachitendo JR Hakata City Ippin Street Store."
◇Exterior and Interior
Located in the "Ippin Street" of JR Hakata City, a large commercial facility directly connected to JR Hakata Station in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. It's a bakery known for its cream bread, originally from Hiroshima, which has been booming for about 7-8 years now and can be seen here and there.
◇Seating
Takeout only.
◇Menu Composition
As mentioned earlier, cream bread is the main item. They also offer other items such as sliced bread and sets. The items I ordered are as follows:
- Cream Bread (250 yen) → Including tax. I had never tried it before, so I finally got to fulfill my wish...haha. The dough is soft and fluffy, easily tearing apart. The cream inside is smooth and definitely different from the firmer type, with a texture that is not overly sweet. It's the type of sweetness that doesn't make you feel heavy, and with a different taste, you might even be able to eat several by yourself!
Unfortunately, they were sold out of custard, so I ended up with cream, but it was probably the right choice...haha.
◆Strengths
Delicious cream bread!
◆Customer Service
Polite.
◆Summary
First time trying it. Honestly, it's delicious. I found out they also have a store in Kokura...haha. Well, next time for sure in Kokura! Thank you for the meal! ^ ^

Located in the Ippin Street at Hakata Station Chikushi Exit, we visited "Yamazaki Bakery Hakata Station Deitos Ippin Street Store" where my wife purchased a "melting toast" instead of a cream bun for breakfast. When she mentioned to the staff that she likes soft bread, they enthusiastically recommended it, saying "It melts in your mouth." The bread was slightly smaller in size compared to a cream bun, with a nice brown color on the outside, giving the impression that it might not be as soft to the touch. It apparently contains a good amount of butter, which may contribute to its melting texture. The next morning, we tried it without toasting it, and it didn't have much of a melting sensation. It was quite sweet. However, my wife toasted it later and found it to be much better. So, we decided to toast the bread and try it. While the "melting" description may have been a bit exaggerated, toasting it did indeed make the texture softer and more enjoyable. Overall, it was a good experience. Thank you for the meal.

I visited to get some cream puffs. I purchased the classic set of five. The cream was just the right amount of sweetness, and even though they were a bit big, I found myself easily finishing one. I chilled them well before eating, and they were all delicious. Thank you for the meal. But then... I regret not taking a photo after eating.

Anpan addicts sometimes eat cream buns too. While wandering around Hakata Station looking for a souvenir for a solo evening drink, I came across a collaboration cream bun between Yatendo and Moomin. "How cute!" Moomin is one of the few characters that can be described as such, so this is a must-have item for Moomin fans. Although it's just the packaging, when I opened it, there was no visible difference in size, color, or weight compared to the regular cream bun. Even the cream inside was indistinguishable at first glance... But when I tried it, it was completely different! The lemon cream had a jam-like texture with plenty of lemon pulp and peel mixed in, giving it a refreshing sweet and sour taste that was perfect for summer. Despite being drawn in by Moomin, this cream bun was surprisingly delicious. The combination of lemon and custard is perfect... The bread was moist, with a mysterious texture that was a mix of crepe and bread. The peach cream, while slightly less impressive than the lemon, still captured the softness and elegant sweetness of white peach. It was delicious. Thank you for the feast!

My partner recommended trying this cream bread from a place at Hakata Station, so I went to buy it. The place is located on Ippin Street inside Hakata Station, near famous bakeries like Mikazuki for croissants and Marie for chiffon cakes. They offer a variety of flavors like custard, fresh cream, matcha, and black bean paste. I bought the most popular custard flavor this time. When I tried it, I found that the bread was very thin compared to regular cream bread, and the custard cream was plentiful inside. The custard was not too sweet, so I think you could eat several of them. I would like to try other flavors of cream bread next time.

Cream puff for 230 yen ☆ Located right by the Hakata Station Shinkansen ticket gate. I know the cost performance is not great, but I was really hungry so I bought one (⌒▽⌒) As soon as I bought it, it deflated, so I recommend eating it quickly while it's cold ☆ Inside, there is a light custard that melts in your mouth like cream ☆ Even though it's quite expensive, the bread dough is not that great, right? (*⁰▿⁰*) lol

I bought a cream bread with Amaou strawberries at Yatai Hachitendo on Ichibangai Street in Hakata. It cost 260 yen each. The sign shows a whole strawberry inside, but the bread was fluffy with sweet strawberry jam inside. The red packaging is cute. Next to it, there was a cream bread with a Carp Boy logo on the red packaging, which could be confusing. I wonder if it sells well in Fukuoka. 😊

Visited in February 2019 with a rating of 3.18 on Tabelog (56 reviews). I bought Custard and Custard & Cream pastries for the Shinkansen ride, but ended up eating them for breakfast the next day. The pastries had a thin crust with plenty of custard cream, not too sweet, so you could easily eat multiple. The Cream & Custard pastry had a smooth, creamy texture. Overall, it was delicious.

Soft and sweet like a baby's cheek, this dessert goes beyond the boundaries of a cream bun in terms of appearance and taste. Dessert sandwiches have become popular, even available in convenience stores. This long-established store still stands out as a pioneer. It's great to see a new branch opening in Fukuoka. When you want to enjoy a fruit cake easily, this is definitely one of the options. I would love to create a moment where it melts with butter when warmed up. Thank you very much. I will definitely visit again.

It is something I purchased as a dessert along with my bento. I didn't know it was from a shop in Hiroshima. There are various types of cream bread here. The special feature here is the chilled cream bread. I used to think that chilled cream bread would make a delicious dessert since I was a child, but I never thought it would be commercialized. It was as delicious as I imagined, and it was perfect as a dessert to eat on the Shinkansen. By the way, I bought coffee from a coffee shop near the Shinkansen gate, and it was very elegant and nice. I always feel like indulging a little on a train journey.
