There are different levels of "sourness" for this drink, and the price varies accordingly. Mega Suppa, Giga Suppa, Tera Suppa, Peta Suppa. I went for the Giga Suppa for 539 yen. It's sour enough. Kyoto Gyoza [6 pieces] 429 yen Meat Juice Gyoza [6 pieces] 539 yen Overflowing Mabo - I forgot the price Dashi soy sauce with vinegar to adjust the taste to your liking, and halfway through, change the flavor with vinegar miso sauce. They serve juicy dumplings made with Kyoto pork, wrapped in fresh dough right after you order. Their specialty is the hot and steaming gyoza. Plus, they offer a sour tower on each table for all-you-can-drink for 500 yen for 30 minutes! It's a fun and lively place where everyone can enjoy. The restaurant was full of energy and the staff were bright and cheerful, even late at night. We ordered a variety of dishes: Kyoto gyoza, Kujo green onion gyoza, yuzu gyoza, grilled skewers, pan-fried soup dumplings, simmered pork cartilage, cheese overflowing mapo tofu, black vinegar sweet and sour pork, and Taiwanese mixed noodles. Even with all that food, it only cost around 3000 yen per person, which is quite budget-friendly. We had a great time chatting and eating, and before we knew it, we had eaten too much. I found a trendy izakaya in front of the station, it had a cool atmosphere that's been popular lately. The staff were friendly and provided good service. They had a designated smoking area, so it was a well-organized izakaya. It's more about the value for money than the quality, haha, because the prices are cheap! If you feel like having a casual drink, this izakaya might be the best choice, haha. They have a wide variety of dishes and drinks. The only downside for me was that I don't drink lemon sour much, but they kept bringing it to our table, haha, which was amazing! But I prefer to toast with beer, so it might be a great izakaya for the second round. It's also great that they are open after 8 pm, as there aren't many izakayas open at that time.
