The Spicy Umami Napoli sauce itself was not spicy, but it had something like red pepper flakes sprinkled on top, giving it a slightly Chinese flavor. I think next time I'll stick to regular Napoli or meat sauce.

I ordered the white napo with a topping voucher for extra fried chicken. I was expecting a Napoli-style dish because of the white napo (retan), but it tasted more like yakisoba or yakichanpon. The recommended condiment on the menu was chili oil, so maybe that's why. It was not bad, but I was looking for spaghetti, so it felt a bit off. I'm not sure if this is what I was looking for. Maybe next time...

In 2009, the Neapolitan (and meat sauce) specialty restaurant "Spaghetti no Pancho" opened its first store in Shibuya, Tokyo. Although it doesn't exist in Naples, Italy (lol), this restaurant redefines the familiar spaghetti menu found in Japanese cafes and Western-style restaurants. They offer hearty portions of Neapolitan pasta at the same price, ranging from regular to extra-large servings. According to their official website, there are around 35 stores mainly in the Kanto region, including affiliated stores like "Kitchen Pancho." In Fukuoka, you can find the Pancho stores in Hakata Bus Terminal, Ohashi Station, and VIERRA Kokura. This time, we visited the "Ohashi Station" store located in the commercial facility "Reilia Ohashi," directly connected to Nishitetsu Ohashi Station. It was my first time at Pancho! The restaurant is located on the basement floor and has a bold and vibrant exterior that stands out. During lunch rush hours, we had to wait outside the restaurant. While waiting, we checked the menu and contemplated the portion sizes. The restaurant has a small family restaurant-like atmosphere with small tables for solo diners or small groups, and box seats for larger groups. The main menu offers Neapolitan in small (750 yen) and regular to extra-large (820 yen) sizes, with the same price. The amount of noodles ranges from small (300g) to extra-large (600g). They also have challenge menus with over 1kg of noodles for those who want to try. We ordered the Neapolitan with a half-boiled egg on top (regular size, 920 yen). It had sausages, bacon, bell peppers, and onions, with a ketchup and tomato sauce blend, cooked to perfection. The thick noodles were cooked al dente and had a good chewy texture. Mixing the runny egg yolk with the pasta made it even more delicious. We also tried the limited-time menu item "Napotama (Neapolitan Carbonara)" which was a sinful combination of Neapolitan and Carbonara. It had a creamy white sauce with an egg yolk on top, resembling a spaghetti gratin. The rich and creamy sauce coated the thick noodles perfectly. It was a high-calorie treat that was incredibly satisfying. The dish came with miso soup with wakame seaweed and fried tofu, which was a unique addition. Overall, it was a filling and enjoyable meal. After finishing our meal, we were too full to buy bread from the nearby "Shiroya Bakery."

There are menus other than Napolitan, but I have only eaten Napolitan here. The small size is a little cheaper, but from the medium size onwards, you can get a large serving for the same price. It's very convenient when you're really hungry!! The Napolitan has a rich flavor, and for some reason, miso soup comes with it. I think a mini salad or consomme soup would be better. Why miso soup with pasta???

I have been curious about this place since it opened, and I finally visited for the first time. The big sign and bright interior make a great impression! They have a wide variety of dishes like Napolitan and meat sauce, so I had a hard time deciding. This time, I tried the Meat Sauce Cheese (regular size) for 940 yen. It had thick noodles with meat sauce and melted cheese on top! The deliciousness was evident from the first bite! You can sprinkle as much powdered cheese as you want! And you can change the flavor with powdered cheese and Tabasco halfway through! I was very satisfied! I wish they had a call button or food tickets...

Among pasta and spaghetti, Napolitan is the most popular, as I heard on a TV show before. Everyone loves the ketchup-flavored Napolitan. I have known for a while that this restaurant has expanded to Hakata. It is a spaghetti specialty store, mainly serving Napolitan and meat dishes. However, I never went there because of the parking issue. The parking fees near Hakata Station are high, so it seems like a waste. That was the only reason I didn't go. I try to avoid going near Hakata Station. When I was looking at Tabelog, I found out that the same restaurant is located at Nishitetsu Train Ohashi Station in Minami-ku, Fukuoka City. I thought I must go there since the parking fees are not high, and I can go there without worrying about time. I visited the restaurant on a Sunday around 11 a.m. There were only a few customers in the restaurant. A friendly and cute female staff member showed me to my seat and explained the menu in detail. The serving sizes range from 400g to 600g, with the same price for regular and mega servings. I wasn't sure about the appropriate amount, so I asked the woman, and she recommended the regular size for my age. I ordered: - Napolitan (regular size, 400g) = 760 yen (tax included) I requested powdered cheese as a condiment. The noodles were being skillfully flipped in a frying pan at the visible cooking area. After waiting for about 7 minutes, my dish arrived. It seemed to be just the right amount, and the powdered cheese was served in a large container. I sprinkled it multiple times on the hot noodles. The slightly thicker noodles were hot and didn't cool down easily due to being stir-fried over high heat. The noodles were delicious, well coated with ketchup, with a balanced acidity. I could see onions, finely chopped bell peppers, thick wieners, and plenty of ingredients. I used a fork to pick up Wakame from the miso soup that came with the dish. Other customers were drinking beverages while eating, but I didn't have enough money to order a drink. I was fine with the cold water available. The Napolitan was satisfying and delicious, as expected from a spaghetti specialty store. I will probably come back again, but next time, I might consider adding some toppings. I didn't overeat this time, sticking to the regular size. As more customers started arriving, most of them also ordered Napolitan. Feeling full and satisfied, I headed back to the parking lot, paying the 100 yen fee.

I went to a Napoli-style restaurant that has locations all over the country. I got off at Ohashi Station on my way home and decided to eat there. The menu offered Napoli-style pasta starting from a small portion of 300g, which already seemed like a huge portion to me. However, they also had a mini size option with 200g of pasta and miso soup. I thought this would be perfect for trying out, so I added a sunny-side-up egg on top. They also provided condiments, so I added some powdered cheese and Tabasco sauce. The Napoli-style pasta had thick noodles, onions, bell peppers, and sausages as toppings. The sausages were surprisingly good. The dish arrived quickly after ordering. The thick and firm texture of the noodles was enjoyable. Nowadays, most pasta places serve noodles around 1.4mm thick, so I was happy with the thicker noodles here. Napoli-style pasta is not traditional pasta but more like a western-style ketchup-flavored fried noodles, and it was delicious!

I visited a restaurant in Nishitetsu Ohashi Station that used to serve fresh pasta but has now become a Neapolitan specialty shop. When I arrived, the shop was almost full, but after a short wait, I was seated at a table. I ordered the regular size Neapolitan (300g). I wondered how much 300g would be, but when the dish arrived, it didn't seem like much. However, the thick noodles filled me up more than I expected, and the taste was delicious, leaving me satisfied. Next time, I want to try the large size.

The amazing thing about this restaurant is that the amount of noodles is just huge! The regular size is 400g. Normally, a single serving of pasta is about 100-150g. It's so much more than usual. They also have a small size of 300g and a mini size of 200g. I once got the regular 400g for takeout because I was so hungry, but it was too much and I almost gave up. You can add toppings like fried eggs, sausages, extra vegetables, which is great. It seems more suitable for hungry men. For dining in, the set comes with miso soup, but I always wish they had wakame soup instead. It's good that they offer takeout, but there is a 100 yen charge for the container.

I went to the newly opened Spaghetti Pancho Ohashi Station Nakaten in Fukuoka City, Minami-ku, Ohashi on May 19, 2021. This new store opened on May 15 and is located on the basement floor 1 of Leiria at Nishitetsu Ohashi Station. The signature menu here is the Napolitan spaghetti. However, since I had already tried Napolitan at the Hakata Bus Terminal store, this time I decided to try something different. The prices are a bit cheaper for the small serving of 300g, while the regular serving of 400g, large serving of 500g, and mega serving of 600g are all the same price. I ordered the large serving of Meat Sauce for 760 yen (tax included). You can choose from 7 types of condiments, so I asked for powdered cheese. There are also other options like Omunapo, curry combinations, and challenge menus. The powdered cheese I ordered came in a large amount. The Meat Sauce dish arrived, and it included miso soup, which was not included at the Hakata Bus Terminal store. The 500g large serving was indeed quite filling. Now, I will generously sprinkle the powdered cheese and enjoy. The pasta was not al dente but rather quite soft. It was delicious but I got a bit tired of it halfway through. I should have ordered some spicy sauce or mayonnaise for flavor variation. I managed to finish it and had a satisfying lunch. The store is located at 1-5-1 Ohashi, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City, Leiria Ohashi B1. Closed on holidays.

Poncho, which opened on 5/15! It is the second store in Fukuoka, following Hakata Station Bus Terminal. I tried the special serving of Napolitan and it was delicious, so I will definitely visit again. I arrived around 3:00 PM. I had meat sauce spaghetti with cheese and a sunny-side-up egg on top. It was a regular serving size of 400g, which was just right. It tasted nostalgic.
