I really like going out for drinks with friends. We ordered a unique appetizer that came with a Japanese-style soup, tofu in milk, and chicken liver simmered in soy sauce. It was a bit strange to have three items on the appetizer plate, but it was delicious. The first drink we had was a sparkling white wine, which was very refreshing and dry. We also tried a variety of dishes like smoked sashimi platter, chicken wings, and various skewers. The skewers were all delicious, especially the juicy chicken meatballs and the tender liver sashimi. We also requested some green onions and asparagus to be added to our pork skewers, and the restaurant kindly fulfilled our request. The food was all so tasty, and we enjoyed it with some bottled beer. Overall, it was a great dining experience with friendly staff and delicious food.

Facing Senichimae Street, I decided to enter this shop because it looked nice as I passed by. Luckily, there was one table available. The staff's service was excellent - they were friendly, polite, and attentive. The milk tofu in the appetizer was delicious! I ordered the 8-piece sashimi platter, which was a rare find in Minami area. It included various cuts of chicken such as breast, thigh, meatball, heart, gizzard, liver, and tenderloin. All were fresh and tasty. There was also a unique dish called "tori-wasa" which was chicken with a lot of wasabi, but surprisingly delicious! The yakitori had a great charcoal flavor and there were many other menu items I would like to try in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Charcoal-grilled yakitori Tokoha offers delicious yakitori skewers and various vegetable wraps that leave you fully satisfied. The vegetable wraps include scallions, lettuce, and shiitake mushrooms, all of which I love. Each bite combines the rich pork fat with the crispy vegetables, creating a delightful experience in my mouth. The appetizer plate is not too fancy, right? I thought it looked like a dinosaur's foot. I mean that as a compliment! The homemade milk tofu on the plate was also deliciously creamy. Don't miss out on the sand gizzard and cartilage, they are a must-try. When you go to a yakitori restaurant, what is something you must absolutely order? Feel free to leave your recommendations in the comments. Also, the tsukune with cream cheese here is a winner, with a crispy exterior and a juicy, meaty center oozing with cheese. You definitely need to try it. The only thing left on my mind is the dish that has a different name at each restaurant, the muscle between the heart and somewhere else. I think it's called sunaguri and yagen nankotsu, and it's deliciously chewy. The chicken nanban with chicken tenderloin and plenty of tartar sauce is a must-try, with tender meat and a flavorful tartar sauce. The possibilities with tenderloin are endless. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I had the yakitori bowl for lunch here and it was delicious, so I came back for dinner this time. It's located along Senbayashi Street, near the entrance of Aiaihashisuji Shotengai. The yakitori that the staff grilled for me during lunch was really good. The tsukune was also tasty. It may not have a trendy atmosphere, but I think the overall taste is great. This is a place I'd like to visit occasionally for a quick meal. Thank you for the delicious food.

I happened to pass by this restaurant and decided to try it out. The taste was great, the dishes were modern and lovely. I highly recommend the "Assorted Sashimi" which was fresh, with a variety of cuts and some unique twists like smoked items. And the price was surprisingly reasonable. I have uploaded a photo for you to enjoy and be amazed. The yakitori was also perfectly cooked, with a great texture. Although I only had a small meal this time, I will definitely come back for more. Thank you for the delicious food.

I occasionally noticed this restaurant that comes into view from time to time. I thought it was a yakitori restaurant that I had visited a long time ago, but it turned out to be a completely different yakitori restaurant that changed a year ago. Indeed, when I looked closely, the exterior also had a slightly brighter atmosphere. I didn't notice that. It was lunchtime, but there was a lunch menu in front of the store, so I went inside. The interior had a counter with 5 seats on the first floor, and a table for 4 people. There also seemed to be a second floor. I sat right in front of the charcoal grill on the counter. There were 5 lunch menu options. Yakitori bowl with sauce set meal (4 skewers) 850 yen Yakitori bowl with sauce set meal (6 skewers) 1050 yen Yakitori bowl with salt set meal (6 skewers) 1050 yen Chicken cutlet set meal (Ranou tartar) 850 yen Today's special lunch 800 yen I ordered the yakitori bowl with sauce set meal (6 skewers). It was served in a large bowl with a generous amount. Personally, I felt that the sauce lacked depth, but the saltiness and sweetness were just right. One of the skewers was tsukune, and it was really delicious. It felt meticulous, and I would like to go back at night once the state of emergency is over. Thank you for the meal.

Charcoal-grilled chicken restaurant Kotoha ✰✨✨✨✨✨✨I visited this place that serves charcoal-grilled chicken and kettle rice! First, we ordered almost all types of grilled chicken, then we had chicken sashimi and tataki, which are a must-try... The chicken sashimi portion is a bit small, but the taste is delicious! The tataki also tastes great... The grilling varies depending on the item, the heart might be tastier if grilled a bit rarer~~~ We also had salad and fried chicken, and finally tried almost all types of kettle rice too (lol) The first floor has a counter, while the second floor has a counter and tables!

This day, we had a girls' night out in Nihonbashi☆ The Tokoha course was only 3000 yen, and it included a variety of dishes from sashimi to creative skewers and kamameshi, making it a very satisfying and cost-effective option! The sashimi wasn't just any ordinary sashimi, it was smoked with charcoal and incredibly delicious. We enjoyed 8 types of smoked sashimi right from the start, which paired perfectly with drinks. The recommended marinated gin and tonic at the restaurant was pleasantly sweet and refreshing, complementing the dishes well. The smoked cartilage with mentaiko and the Oita Nakatsu chicken karaage were perfect for drinking sake from the second cup onwards! The charcoal-grilled skewers included items like asparagus and pork rolls, scallops, and creative skewers of black wagyu beef, all of which were incredibly delicious! For the finale, we had charcoal-smoked kamameshi with chicken, duck, red snapper, salmon, and shimeji mushrooms. The chicken was healthy, the smoked flavor was delicious, and the casual yet creative atmosphere makes it a great recommendation for girls' nights out or dates!

I visited "Tokoha" in Namba. I had the grilled chicken bowl set with 4 skewers (tax included 850 yen). It came with a cup, which I thought was for green tea, but it turned out to be Wakame seaweed soup, more like udon broth. It also came with a simmered dish of liver and leeks. The highlight was the grilled chicken bowl, with various types of chicken meatballs, burdock, and green onion toppings. It was delicious, with a smoky flavor from being grilled over charcoal. The fresh white and green onions on top complemented it well. Thank you for the meal.

I had passed by this place many times before, but I never considered it as an option because I thought it was a yakitori restaurant for tourists, so it was not in my list of choices. However, since Mairevi had given it a high rating, I decided to stop by for dinner on my way back home. After having my temperature checked and sanitizing my hands, I sat at the counter. I ordered a bottle of beer for 500 yen, and some appetizers were served. The appetizers were surprisingly delicious! There were three options, and I particularly enjoyed the milk pudding. Even though I usually don't like milk, I found it to be very tasty. The appetizers set a high expectation for the rest of the meal. Here are the items I ordered:
- Assorted smoked sashimi (5 kinds) for 750 yen: The smoked flavor added a delicious touch to the sashimi. It was incredibly tasty!
- Pork and green onion roll for 220 yen: The charcoal aroma from the pork wrapped around the green onion complemented the light sweetness of the onion. The sauce was also delicious!
- Yam for 180 yen: Although not as impressive as the green onion roll, it was still of high quality. It was grilled with salt instead of sauce.
- Soft bone for 200 yen: Delicious! The meat was generously topped with a well-balanced amount of salt and grilled to perfection. I loved the crunchy texture.
- Smoked fish with plum and shiso for 200 yen: The grilling technique was excellent. The fish was juicy and perfectly cooked.
- Back liver for 200 yen: The sauce at this restaurant is delicious! The rich flavor of the back liver paired well with the sauce. It was a perfect combination.
- Charcoal-grilled soft bone with spicy cod roe for 450 yen: The flavor was a bit strong for my taste, but it would be a good accompaniment for drinks. The grilled soft bone was delicious.
Overall, the dishes were surprisingly good, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. The restaurant was busy with takeout orders and upstairs party guests, but the staff managed the situation well. Although it was a bit overwhelming to place orders due to the busyness, I would like to come back and try more items at this restaurant. It seems like a place where one can dine comfortably alone. I am glad I discovered this great restaurant, and I apologize for mistakenly assuming it was only for tourists. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line Nihonbashi Station, I wanted to eat junkei from Akiyoshi, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed. So, we ended up wandering around looking for yakitori and ended up running out of time as the shops were closing due to the current situation. I remembered a new place near Nihonbashi Station, which I pass by every morning and evening. The restaurant had a stylish atmosphere with a counter lit by downlights. We started with a dry beer for 500 yen and ordered some dishes from the menu. The appetizers were delicious, especially the chicken liver simmered in soy sauce. The tempura of young corn and the skewered dishes were also very good. The smoked sashimi platter had a unique flavor due to the smoky aroma. Finally, we tried various yakitori dishes such as chicken liver, chicken wings, and skewers, all of which were cooked to perfection. The chicken wings were incredibly delicious, and we ended up ordering more. The cheese-wrapped meatballs and grilled rice balls were also surprisingly tasty. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and my son enjoyed it so much that he wanted to go back again. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is a restaurant I visited after making a reservation because it was eligible for the 'Go To Eat' campaign rather than using Hot Pepper. The location is along Sennichimae Street, a few doors down to the west from the always crowded 'Tamaseiya' restaurant, and it has a nice traditional exterior. When I made the reservation, I requested a counter seat, but I was actually guided to a Japanese-style room on the third floor. The room had a nice traditional atmosphere and would be suitable for entertaining, but the stairs were quite steep, so it might be a bit scary to go down if you're drunk.
I ordered the Tokoha course for 3000 yen plus a 1500 yen all-you-can-drink option, which included various dishes such as smoked sashimi, smoked cartilage with spicy cod roe, Oita Nakatsu's famous fried chicken, smoked yakitori, pork and vegetable skewers, creative charcoal-grilled skewers, smoked rice dish of the day, and sherbet of the day. I won't comment on everything, so I'll just choose the dishes that were particularly delicious.
First, the "smoked sashimi with eight kinds of fish." I was curious about what smoked sashimi was, but it's a cooking method where ingredients are smoked with high heat charcoal to give them a charcoal flavor and texture. The smoked sashimi had a nice charcoal aroma and texture, and it was delicious when paired with various sauces and condiments.
Next, the "smoked rice dish of the day." The bamboo shoot rice dish with a charcoal aroma and chicken was delightful from the moment it was opened. It was a delicious rice dish that I wanted to have all to myself.
The all-you-can-drink menu was limited, but with the variety offered, there was nothing to complain about. The course with all-you-can-drink for 4500 yen seemed like a good deal. When it gets a little colder, the "Hakata Mizutaki hot pot course" seems like a good option too. This is a restaurant I would like to visit again in winter using the Go To Eat campaign.

The restaurant used to be a hot pot place before, but now it has changed to a yakitori restaurant. The interior is stylish and sophisticated, with a focus on quality tableware. The service is polite and the atmosphere is calm. The yakitori dishes are slightly on the expensive side, but the ingredients are high quality, making it a good value for money. The seasoning is gentle and the grilling is not too strong. Overall, the food was delicious. The total cost for food and drinks is around 4000 yen, making it a good option for a date night. It is likely that they have a second floor available for parties and events.

Good evening, this is Chai. While walking along Sennichimae Street with a hungry stomach, I came across a cozy-looking yakitori restaurant that seemed easy to enter, so I decided to give it a try. And it turned out to be a great find.
Located along Sennichimae Street, this restaurant mainly has counter seats. They use Kyoto Akadori chicken for their yakitori, and they take pride in their charcoal-grilled smoked yakitori.
The appetizers were luxurious, with a sudachi soup, tofu, and duck.
For the yakitori, I ordered various types including three kinds of negima (chicken and leek skewers), chicken tail bone and skin skewers, cream cheese tsukune (chicken meatballs), twisted skewers, and charcoal-grilled smoked parent chicken skewers.
Aside from chicken, they also offer shrimp mayo and beef skewers, as well as red snapper.
For the finishing dish, I had a hard time deciding but ended up choosing the sea bream dashi chazuke, which was just the right amount for one person.
Including drinks, the price per person is around 5,000 yen. They are open from 5 pm to 5 am on weekdays and from 5 pm to midnight on weekends and holidays.

The staff seemed busy but still attentive, which was nice. The sansho highball was delicious. However, the counter seats on the second floor were a bit cramped, haha.

I made a reservation at the counter seat. The atmosphere was very nice and there were many types of drinks available. I tried the recommended gin and tonic by the staff, and it was so delicious with chicken! The complimentary milk tofu was tasty, so I ended up ordering more. The prices were reasonable, so I would like to go again.

I used the Toco Leaf Course with all-you-can-drink option and I was extremely satisfied with the course and the excellent service. I enjoyed my meal comfortably as everything I ate was delicious. I had made a reservation for my next visit, but they were turning away many walk-ins.

I stumbled upon a nice-looking restaurant while enjoying the nightlife in Namba. Despite feeling a bit apologetic for going to a second place, I was warmly welcomed and seated at the counter. It was around 8 o'clock when I entered, and the place was quite busy. I ordered a draft beer and the recommended smoked sashimi platter. The smoked chicken sashimi was delicious, with just the right amount of smokiness enhancing the flavor. Encouraged by that, I also added the smoked grilled twist. The texture of the parent bird was unique, providing a satisfying chewiness. I found a great restaurant. I'll make a reservation next time and stop by as my first choice. Thank you for the meal.

It was my first visit to this restaurant. I had used Uber to order from here during the self-restraint period, but it was my first time actually going there. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. It was a very enjoyable meal, thank you so much! :)
