This is a yakitori restaurant located under the overpass in Nakazaki-cho. A friend of mine always said it was very delicious, and I was always curious because it was always packed when I passed by. Finally, I visited the restaurant. It has a long interior with seating on the second floor as well. I sat at the counter. The place was full as usual on that day. There were many groups of women, so it seems to be popular among women too. They served skewers with plenty of leeks, a dish called "negi dokkaan," and also tsukune. The first dish that came out was the "negi dokkaan." It was just bursting with leeks! The combination of leeks, tataki, and ponzu sauce was really delicious! This was the highlight of the day. The skewers included items like chicken neck and pork belly, all of which were tender and satisfying. The tsukune was also tender. Each restaurant has its own unique flavor, and in terms of tsukune, I would prefer it to have a slightly thicker sauce. Nonetheless, it was delicious at the moment! Overall, I was satisfied. It was indeed a bustling restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant 6 times already. This time, I went with my family of three after a long time. The staff are always friendly and make us feel comfortable. This time, the menu had changed a bit since the last visit. The ramen that was perfect for finishing off a meal was no longer available, so I tried the kamameshi instead. It was not too rich and not too soft. It quickly disappeared into my child's stomach. We didn't even have time to take a photo before they finished it. We also tried the truffle salt liver and pink grapefruit sour, which were all delicious. We will definitely visit again.

I went to Umemido! It's about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Umeda Station, under the elevated tracks towards Nakazakicho. It's a stylish yakitori restaurant with a fairly spacious interior, and even though it was a weekday, there were quite a few people. They use Hyogo Prefecture's local chicken, Harima Hyakunichi, for their yakitori. You can order yakitori by the skewer. The whole Suisei Jin Sour was amazing!! I had the pink grapefruit flavor and it was huge! It really had a whole grapefruit inside, haha. The chicken gyoza was also delicious!!

Great atmosphere at a yakitori restaurant in Nakazaki-cho under the overpass where I met up with friends from high school. The interior was spacious and lively, with tables, a counter, and tatami seating for groups of all sizes. Despite being under the overpass, the train noise was not noticeable. The drinks were fantastic, with a variety of fruit options. The yakitori was delicious, especially the chicken skewers with plum and shiso, and the white liver with grated daikon and ponzu sauce. I also loved the chicken gyoza. The menu was extensive, making it hard to choose just one dish.

A cozy and delicious yakitori restaurant with a great atmosphere! It seems like a perfect place for a date. The potato salad was stylish and tasty, and the main yakitori dishes were incredibly delicious! The chicken thigh sashimi was fresh and exquisite. They also had a selection of 3-4 whiskies, which was satisfying. I would definitely like to visit again!

I tried the following dishes: - Tataki assortment (2 types, 4 slices each) ¥980 - Chicken Nanban Salad ¥880 - Addictive spare ribs with chicken wings ¥580 - Fried chicken cartilage in curry flavor ¥480 - Chicken dumplings ¥390 - Fried daikon radish ¥390 - Flavored egg with salmon roe ¥420 - Airy Tamago Kake Gohan (egg over rice) ¥550 - Recommended selection of 5 skewers set x2 - Sesame chicken cheese cutlet ¥780 The menu offered a good variety of items, including some unique skewers. The prices were reasonable overall. I ordered two sets of 5 skewers each, and they kindly gave us a variety of 10 skewers, one of each kind. The tables were set with stylish square plates in black and white, with separate salt and sauce provided. The skewers were cooked to perfection by the staff, leaving them juicy and flavorful. One standout skewer was the chicken tenderloin with Tasmania mustard and cumin. The mustard seeds added a nice texture and the cumin provided a hint of bitterness, creating a fresh taste. The Chicken Nanban Salad was colorful, with crispy chicken coated in tartar sauce, giving it an elegant touch. The chicken dumplings were well-filled and paired nicely with the tangy sauce or the spicy habanero sauce on the table. The flavored egg with salmon roe was a luxurious treat, with rich and creamy ikura adding a decadent touch. The menu featured a variety of unique dishes from different cuisines, allowing us to enjoy a range of flavors while sipping on drinks. I love the scene of carefully grilling yakitori when orders come in. Their specialty assorted chicken sashimi platter, chicken dumplings, negima, shirako with grated ponzu sauce, momo tare, cumin, onsen tamago, tsukune, shiso chicken, and chicken nanban skewers are all delicious. The fresh flavors and moist texture of the yakitori are irresistible. The crispy chicken dumplings with juicy meat juices are a delight. The negima, grilled with a charcoal aroma and a secret sauce passed down for 30 years, is full of flavor. The onsen tamago with tsukune is a rich combination with meat juices overflowing from the tsukune wrapped in a creamy yolk. Just can't stop eating with the alcohol.

Yanotori Umemidou: Located under the elevated railway in Umeda, this yakitori restaurant mainly attracts customers in their 20s, particularly women. This time, I tried five types of yakitori and chicken dumplings. Personally, I especially liked the whole grain mustard. Osaka Nakazakicho "Yakitori Nonotori Umeido" is a restaurant located under the JR elevated railway on the way from Umeda to Nakazakicho. The menu includes: - Whole Green Jin Sour (Orange, Pink Grapefruit) - Special Tsukune (Onsen Tamago) - Negima (Salt) - Seseri (Tare, Tasmanian Mustard, Cumin) - Sasami (Shiso Ume) - Harami (Ponzu) - Chicken Gyoza - Airy TKG - Double Egg Yolk TKG. The sour made with a whole fruit is not too sweet and very easy to drink. The dishes are made with Hyogo prefecture brand chicken and local chicken, each dish was delicious with unique cooking methods and seasonings. Tasmanian Mustard was a first for me and it had a nice tanginess that paired well with the meat. The TKG uses locally sourced Hanyu eggs, especially the egg yolk was very rich. For those who like refreshing flavors, I recommend the Airy TKG, and for those who prefer rich flavors, the Double Egg Yolk is recommended. The rice comes in a rice bowl, and I ended up having two bowls, haha. In addition to yakitori, they also have other menu items like Ahijo and Oden that caught my interest, so I would like to go back again. Thank you for the meal. We arrived at 7:00 without a reservation and found the restaurant full. We joked about starting a same-day all-you-can-drink deal while waiting outside, and they actually agreed. We sat on the terrace and ordered two Italian sparkling wines. We enjoyed various dishes like chicken dumplings, seseri, zuri, soliles, and tsunagi while having multiple refills of the sparkling wine. When a table became available, we moved inside and continued to enjoy the drinks and food. The meal ended with a refreshing sherbet. It was a great experience, and we were very satisfied.

The chicken harami was also tasty, with a light flavor and firm texture. It's best to make a reservation as the restaurant was full even on weekdays. The complimentary vanilla ice cream at the end was a nice touch.

I really like the interior of this shop. It's stylish and perfect for a date. It can get crowded on Fridays and Saturdays, so if possible, I recommend coming on other days for a more relaxed dining experience. It's amazing that they offer same-day courses. The staff members are truly impressive.

Visited in December 2022 with a Foodlog rating of 3.19 (based on 94 reviews). I stopped by "Nonotori Ume Midou" located across from Umeda Loft on Midosuji Street for a casual drink. This place offers grilled chicken, chicken hot pot, and other chicken dishes using brand chicken from Hyogo Prefecture. The entrance has stylish counter and high chair seating. I was seated at a table behind the counter. I only tried a few items today, including: Premium Malt's beer (medium bottle) for 630 yen, Chicken dumplings (6 pieces) x2 for 390 yen each, Chicken skewers - Shiso plum (rare or well-done) for 220 yen, Negima (salt) for 250 yen, Seseri (choice of sauce) for 250 yen, Shirako (choice of ponzu) for 250 yen, Special tsukune (choice of onsen tamago) for 290 yen. Started with a toast with beer. The skewers were well cooked and delicious, although the shirako was a bit light in flavor. The chicken dumplings had a rich chicken flavor and tasted great with the special ponzu or Kyoto-habanero sauce. The habanero sauce was spicier than expected. Overall, a place that makes you want to try more next time. Thank you for the meal.

Introducing Nonotoriumeidou, a yakitori restaurant located just a short walk from Chayamachi Loft. The exterior and interior are so stylish that you wouldn't think it's just a casual izakaya. We tried chicken dumplings, five types of yakitori, karaage, fried daikon, seasoned egg with salmon roe, and yakitori rice bowl. The yakitori was juicy and tender, while the chicken dumplings were light and delicious. The fried daikon (8th item) was a pleasant surprise - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delightful dashi flavor. It was truly a unique and delicious experience. We ended our meal with the yakitori rice bowl and left completely satisfied.
