Kitashinchi. There is a shop along the main street, which is one of the branches of Iroha, a famous store for Hakata specialty "Mizudaki" in Osaka. There is a large Hakata Yamakasa mural at the entrance, and the shop has three floors from the basement. Although there is a counter, the focus is on private rooms. On this day, despite being a famous Mizudaki restaurant, we started with the usual Shabu Shabu for 550 yen. The dishes included a platter of chicken sashimi for 1200 yen, chicken tataki with thigh and breast meat, and chicken tenderloin. The freshness was good, and the texture was firm with a sweet taste of the meat. The dishes were served with sweet soy sauce or ponzu with grated wasabi or ginger. The deep-fried chicken wings for 800 yen were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, making it delicious. The Shabu Shabu for 7000 yen had a strong broth, slightly on the salty side for my taste. The sauce options included sesame and ponzu, but I preferred ponzu at first. The ingredients included onions, cabbage, carrots, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, macaroni, tofu, and more. The main highlight was the marbled black wagyu beef, which was tender and flavorful when briefly dipped in the broth. However, the meat was quite fatty, and surprisingly, no one ordered additional meat. The taste of the dishes was undoubtedly good, but due to the place, there were difficulties in serving the initial drinks and dishes when customers gathered around 7 pm. The restaurant had a good atmosphere, but it seemed not very suitable for business entertainment due to the limited time. If possible, it would be better to adjust the timing.
