I visited the Hakata motsunabe restaurant Ooyama in Umeda, Osaka, located in the DD House. I ordered the Don'taku course for 2,600 yen including tax, and the 120-minute all-you-can-drink course. The meal included vinegar motsu, mentaiko, daikon salad, and motsu. I chose the cheapest course thinking I could add more if needed, but it was quite filling without any additional orders. The motsu had no unpleasant smell and the fat was refined, making it a good value for money. While Antsuki has a stronger flavor, Ooyama may have better value for money. It was delicious. If I crave motsunabe in Umeda, I will definitely revisit Ooyama.

It's the Nangumo Mobile Unit. It seems like they have fully private rooms available on Thursdays at 8:00 PM. We ordered the all-you-can-drink course for 5200 yen and added horse sashimi. It's very healthy with plenty of vegetables. We ended up getting too drunk to make it to the noodles at the end (lol). Since it's a private room, it's great for both dates and parties!

I had miso motsunabe and it was delicious! The soup was amazing and there were plenty of motsu in it, so I was very satisfied. The champon noodles at the end were also delicious and I finished it all in no time! I went with my husband and when we tried to order two servings of champon, the staff kindly advised us that it might be too much for us. We ended up ordering one serving, but it was so tasty that we could have easily eaten two servings. Next time, I definitely want to order two servings!

My husband said, "This is the best motsunabe I've ever had. I want to keep coming back." We finally visited Ooyama, a motsunabe restaurant in Hakata that we've been wanting to try. The soup was rich but not too heavy, I could drink it endlessly. The motsu was big and chewy with a lot of flavor, and the vegetables and tofu were plentiful, very satisfying. Considering the taste and portion size, the price of 1,540 yen per serving was very reasonable. The horse sashimi was fresh and delicious without any unpleasant smell. I recommend the motsunabe and horse sashimi. The variety of drinks on the menu was also good, and the local fruit sake was delicious. We liked it so much that we will definitely go back.

It's my second visit in about 3 years ♥ We had motsunabe for 1,390 yen (pictured for 3 people). You can choose miso, soy sauce, or sukiyaki-style broth, and we tried miso and soy sauce. The chewy motsu with burdock, leeks, and cabbage is delicious. It has a strong garlic flavor, so I recommend eating it on a day when you have nothing planned for the next day. If you like rich flavors, go for miso; if not, soy sauce is good. Both are delicious! The tender beef motsu for 720 yen is a light and easy-to-eat dish. The yuzu pepper was also nice. The Hakata mentaiko for 680 yen was delicious too. The domestic beef tongue steak for 1,980 yen was just average. The zosui set for 380 yen (pictured for 2 people) is a hearty way to finish the meal. It tastes surprisingly good when you've been drinking a lot!

During a weekday lunchtime in Umeda, the restaurants were all empty. It feels good to have the place to yourself. I had lunch at Hakata motsunabe Ooyama. I often make motsunabe at home, but this was my first time trying it at a restaurant. It was delicious, and the champon noodles at the end were fantastic. Thank you for the meal!

Hello! Last time at Pierrot Wine Bar, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of wine in the glass (•ө•)♡ But I needed to eat dinner, so I decided to leave early and find a hearty meal. I found a place on the 8th floor of Links Umeda with a strong garlic aroma (•ө•)♡ I love garlic, so I was sold! And recently, I've started to enjoy motsunabe, so I decided to try Ooyama in Hakata. They serve cute and plump pork feet, and I had a shochu on the rocks! I opted for beer as a chaser... but later regretted it as my stomach was already full from the carbonation. This time, I just wanted to eat the hot pot, so I skipped the set menu. I couldn't eat any more after that! The hot pot was rich and garlicky, with three flavors: miso, soy sauce, and water-based. I remember someone recommending the miso flavor at Yamamoto Motsunabe, so I went with that again. The water-based flavor was actually more like a water-based soup... does it not have chicken broth? The vegetables in the hot pot were delicious, as always. It's hard to convey in photos, but there was a lot of garlic in this hot pot too! I love the juicy broth from the motsu fat and the strong garlic flavor. The service was great, and the portion was satisfying. Overall, it was delicious, and I will definitely come back. Please click on the ranking as it motivates me to keep writing. Thank you!

Last night, we had a little early pre-New Year's party♪ We enjoyed the Hakata motsunabe at Ooyama Umeda Chayamachi store with the Dontaku course + all-you-can-drink option. The course included 6 dishes: edamame, daikon salad, tender beef motsu, Ooyama's special mentaiko motsunabe (choice of miso, soy sauce, or sukiyaki-style), and finishing with champon noodles. Ooyama's motsunabe is a must-try with its high-quality motsu made from domestic beef, which melts in your mouth. The soup can be chosen from three types, and this time we went with miso and soy sauce. The base is a secret blend of about 10 types of white and red miso. The miso has a strong punchy flavor that you can't stop eating, while the soy sauce is a gentle and soothing taste. The side of mentaiko was a luxurious addition. The champon noodles absorbed the soup well and were delicious. The delicious taste comes with a price though - garlic breath! Despite not noticing it ourselves, it seems the smell was quite strong. Thank you for the meal!

My friend wanted to eat motsunabe. There is a Hakata motsunabe restaurant called Ooyama-san in DD House in Umeda!! Even though it was past 9:30 pm, we went. The last order was around 10:30 pm, but they welcomed us warmly. We were a group of two, and we were escorted to a private room, which provided a quiet atmosphere. ① Motsunabe Miso Flavor (1390 yen) - We tried the most popular miso flavor with plenty of leeks, motsu, cabbage, tofu, burdock, and other ingredients. The soup was overflowing from the pot, which seems to be the proper way to eat motsunabe. Although the miso flavor wasn't very strong, it had a delicious Japanese taste. The motsu was also very tasty. ② Motsunabe Shime Udon (280 yen) - Although we were already full from the motsunabe, we decided to try the shime udon, which was delicious with a rich broth. ③ Yuzu Pepper Potato Salad (580 yen) - A refreshing potato salad with a hint of yuzu fragrance, a nice contrast to the motsunabe. ④ Soft Beef Intestines (720 yen) - Light and crispy texture with ponzu sauce and a nice yuzu pepper flavor. ⑤ Refreshing Yuzu Daikon (380 yen) - A light and refreshing dish that was perfect after the rich motsunabe. We only stayed for about an hour, but we focused on eating rather than drinking. Overall, the motsunabe had a generous portion, and it was a satisfying meal. I would like to come back to try the shoyu flavor motsunabe. Thank you for the meal.♪∽♪∝♪

I had miso motsunabe! The broth was so delicious! It was light so I ended up drinking a lot. The motsu was tender and I had seconds. There were plenty of vegetables. The yukke was also delicious! The price is a bit high, but it's worth it for the private room.

I made a reservation and visited DD House on a regular day. Originally a restaurant where you can dine alone in Fukuoka. I used it for a party and added a la carte dishes to the most affordable course. Even though it was the cheapest option, it was quite satisfying. The menu included daikon salad, vinegar motsu, mentaiko (1 per person), motsu nabe, and shime chanpon. I chose the miso flavor for the motsu nabe. The motsu was large, not gamey, and delicious. The vegetables were also tasty. The staff members were nice and lovely. Despite it being a party with only men, thank you. The beer was Sapporo and the highball was Kaku. Thank you for the meal.

I came to eat motsunabe in response to my niece's request to help with the move. There are about four stores in Osaka, and this Chayamachi store in particular had a high score. We enjoyed deliciously chewy motsunabe in a private room, as well as tasty side dishes like mentaiko and beef motsu. Thank you for the meal!

At the company's New Year's party, we enjoyed the Ooyama course with all-you-can-drink option! It had been a long time since I had motsunabe, and I was very satisfied (^O^). This chain restaurant, mainly located in Fukuoka, was recommended by a Kansai native from Kyushu who said it was delicious, so we all decided to visit (^O^). For the motsunabe, you can choose from miso, soy sauce, or water-based broth. Since we had a table for 4 people, we could order from 2 servings, so we chose miso and soy sauce. We also ordered horse sashimi and beef harami steak as part of the Ooyama course. The appetizers were amazing - daikon salad, spicy cod roe, beef tendons, beef tendon stew, and marbled beef harami steak. The Ooyama course was the most expensive set, but the beef tendon stew and marbled beef harami steak were worth it. Just with these dishes, we were already full (laughs). When the motsunabe arrived, it looked beautiful. As it simmered, the fat from the motsu was amazing (^。^). The miso flavor seemed to be popular, but as I ate more, it became quite rich, and when I drank the soup, I could really feel the fat. The soy sauce flavor was relatively light, so I preferred that. The ramen at the end was chewy and delicious. Even though we were full, we ate quite a lot (^O^). Located on the 10th floor of LUCUA, Ooyama is convenient to use for parties or dates. Thank you for the wonderful meal ♫

Good evening. It's lily_c. I went to DD House at Ooyama in Lucua Ile to try their motsunabe (offal hot pot). It's located right by the Hankyu Chayamachi exit, so it's easy to find and has great access. When it comes to motsunabe, miso flavor is the best! The miso here is creamy. Personally, I think it would be even better with a richer soup that has a bit more garlic. The private rooms are convenient and easy to use.

This time, I was taken by my boss to enjoy delicious motsunabe at "Hakata Motsunabe Ooyama Umeda Chayamachi" in Umeda Chayamachi. We started with a toast with beer, and enjoyed some appetizers before diving into the motsunabe. You can choose from miso, soy sauce, or water-based flavors, and I went with the recommended miso flavor (1,390 yen per person). The neatly arranged pot filled with leeks looked beautiful, and the large, plentiful motsu inside was fantastic. The chewy texture was delightful. The classic ingredients like leeks, cabbage, and tofu paired perfectly with the soup. Finally, we added noodles to finish off the meal. I'm curious about the other flavors besides miso! Thank you for the delicious meal!

You can enjoy a hot pot for around 1600 yen. At night, you can get one for about 2500 yen with plenty of cabbage and offal, and you can even get free rice refills. It's great! There's also mentaiko available, though not all-you-can-eat. The flavor is strong, so those who prefer milder flavors might not like it, but I personally loved it. It was my first time trying authentic offal hot pot, and I became a big fan.

Yukke is a small pot dish that is quite satisfying for two people, especially with extra vegetables added. The salad with tofu is very filling. Three highballs, hot pot, ramen, and additional items cost around 5000 yen per person. The private room setting adds to the overall satisfaction. Be careful though, as there is a lot of garlic and chives, so watch out for the next day.

First, pair the top-quality horse sashimi (with extra garlic) with Spanish Cava! Then, the motsunabe (tripe hot pot) makes its entrance! The sweetness and flavor of Kyushu wheat noodles are swimming in a sea of creamy white motsu. Delicious! ❤️

I ordered a course with all-you-can-drink option. The one-dish dishes and motsunabe are also delicious. In particular, the vinegar motsu is perfect as a side dish for alcohol. The course is very fulfilling, so I think it's best to enjoy it with younger people. Thank you for the meal.

Reservation only after 2 years, I was looking forward to enjoying Ooyama's motsunabe with the owner of Ooyama. We met in front of the restaurant, and as we stood at the entrance, we could hear the lively atmosphere inside. When we entered, we saw many staff members gathered and chatting. I thought they must all get along well as they led us to our table. After placing our order, a trainee staff member came to take our order. They were very polite and attentive. We ordered drinks, motsunabe, and one additional item. However, when the extra item arrived, it was incorrect. We asked for the correct item, but it was missing soy sauce, which was clearly necessary. The motsunabe we were looking forward to also left us puzzled, as it didn't seem as delicious as we remembered. The taste and level of service seemed to have declined. It was disappointing. Even during payment, seeing the staff chatting, I couldn't help but think they should focus more on training.

Vinegar tripe, horse sashimi, miso flavored tripe hot pot for two people, with a total of 4 drinks, cost just under 10,000 yen. Almost all rooms are private. The hot pot is served immediately after ordering. The vinegar tripe is delicious.
