Located not far from Umeda Station. I stopped by here at LINKS UMEDA underground 1st floor. The shop is quite small, but there are around 20 types of donuts lined up. I bought the Juicy Grape and Chocolate Sprinkle. Let's try them! The Juicy Grape has a sweet and sour sauce with a chewy and fluffy texture, which is quite nice. However, it's quite sweet. Next is the Chocolate Sprinkle. This one has a moist donut with a crispy texture and plenty of chocolate. And there is a lot of sugar on the bottom. This one is too sweet for me, and it was quite tough towards the end. But maybe it's delicious for kids. So, thank you for the meal. On weekends around 2:00 PM, it was not crowded at all at Lynx Umeda, a takeout-only shop located at the entrance. It's a small space with lots of cute donuts, but I like the plain one the best. The others are too sweet for me. The plain donut costs 172 yen each, but it's a bit cheaper if you buy a set of 3. It has a fluffy and light texture with a sweet icing coating (glaze?) that balances well. The light texture makes it disappear in no time. For this taste and price, I'm truly satisfied. I had always been curious about Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. The store located at the entrance of Link's Umeda 1st basement floor is always crowded with customers, making it a popular spot. One day, as I passed by, there was no line, so I took the opportunity to make a purchase. The doughnuts all looked colorful and cute, making it hard to choose which one to get. I decided to go with the recommended 6-piece set by the staff. Unlike at Mister Donut where I can imagine the taste of the doughnuts, the cute appearance of Krispy Kreme doughnuts made it difficult to imagine the taste. So, I left it to the staff to choose for me. The staff's top recommendation was the one with a bear face drawn prominently on the surface of the doughnut. I personally enjoyed the yellow doughnut with a yuzu flavor. Each doughnut had a unique cream filling, making the experience enjoyable from the appearance to the taste. It had been a year since I last visited Umeda for some errands, and the city felt vibrant and lively. Although I wanted to do some shopping, I couldn't stay long and quickly returned to Takatsuki after finishing my errands.

Links Umeda opened on the basement floor. The first time I tried it was in Seoul for some reason... I was so impressed by its deliciousness that I would eat it every time I went to Korea. I visited this newly opened store in April 2021. I think it opened in late March. I came to buy the Sakura mochi for 259 yen, which I had last time when I was in America and felt nostalgic for. The mochi looks cute in pink, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. It might go well with coffee though. They have many other cute-looking donuts as well. I recommend trying them out.

I'm in Osaka. In Osaka, there is Kit, Umeda. There is a shop in the basement of Yodobashi Camera, LINKS UMEDA. I happened to pass by the shop and felt like eating it again after a long time, so I bought it on the spot. The shop had just opened a little while ago, so the staff seemed a bit awkward, but they were eager to please, which left a good impression. I ordered various donuts that caught my eye! First, I got two Original Glazed, Bitter Chocolate Sprinkle, Caramel Almond Crunch, Old Fashioned Chocolate, and Oreo Crumb. I hesitated a bit about the Oreo flavor because I felt like Oreos had become less tasty recently, but I decided to give it a try. The result was that it was just delicious. I wonder if Oreos themselves have become less tasty because the cream inside them has changed? Among them, I felt that the Old Fashioned Chocolate, with its different texture, was delicious, but in the end, the most delicious one was still the Original Glazed. It's also the most affordable, so I think that sticking to just buying the Original Glazed at Krispy Kreme is still the best choice.
