It had been a while since I came to Hakata for work, so I wanted to visit a food stall I had never been to before. I wandered around Nakasu and found the most popular shop was too crowded, so I decided to try the next busiest one. I had the famous grilled ramen for the first time. I ended up visiting the first place, but it seems like it would be even more delicious to come and eat here as a final meal.

I visited a food stall in Nakasu to experience the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the popular beef skirt steak was sold out. Instead, I ordered the beef tongue. The sauce was spicy and might be too hot for those who don't like spicy food. It was seasoned to go well with drinks. Thank you for the meal.

【Visit date】Weekend【Visit time】Around 7pm【Number of people waiting】None【Waiting time】None【Taste】★★★★☆【Portion size】★★★★☆【Cost performance】★★★★☆【Atmosphere】★★★★☆【Service】★★★☆☆【Overall rating】★★★★☆【Impression】I tried this place based on a recommendation from a taxi driver, located a bit away from the center of Nakasu where many riverside stalls are lined up. Unlike typical street stalls, this place is surrounded by sturdy wooden walls with windows, creating a comfortable space with minimal draft. The toilet is conveniently located nearby, so no need to worry about that. The female owner manages everything inside, while a man cooks outside, which must be quite cold. I enjoyed beer, shochu with hot water, oden, and other snacks, and before I knew it, I had spent over 2 hours there. The seating was not cramped, making it a very cozy place to stay. Although I didn't interact much with the owner this time, I would like to chat more next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I drank in Fukuoka city and really wanted to go to a food stall, so I came here. Even though it's a food stall, it's properly enclosed so it's not too cold even in winter! The broth of the oden is delicious, and the daikon and gyoza rolls are also flavorful and amazing. The light tonkotsu ramen was also delicious! You can add homemade spicy pickled vegetables to the ramen, but be careful as it's very spicy. The hot sake was also delicious. The staff's customer service was good too! I definitely want to go back when I visit a food stall again!! Great restaurant.

I entered a bustling stall on a certain street with several shops lined up. It was more like a lively gathering of customers than a shop, and as a reserved Kanto person, I had a very enjoyable time. When I asked the staff for a photo, they willingly posed outside while cooking, and I feel like we got a great promotional photo.

Second time in Nakasu, first food stall. Had some spicy marinated sardines with a light drink. Finished with half a bowl of ramen. Thin noodles in pork bone broth. Easy to eat yet rich in flavor. The atmosphere added to the taste! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The fourth stop on my trip to Hakata was my first time at a food stall. There seems to be some price gouging, but I went to a food stall where even the locals on Showa Street go. It's not cheap, but it's a good experience. I also tried the grilled ramen. Thank you for the meal☆

I had ramen, yakitori (pork belly, gizzards), and squid mentaiko. They were all delicious, and the owner of the restaurant was very friendly, speaking in a cheerful Hakata dialect. The takana (spicy pickled mustard greens) that came with the ramen was also tasty!

I personally didn't find it very delicious, but I think it's a matter of preference.

Health check-up required me to abstain from alcohol for two nights. After working overtime until after 9:00 PM, I finally had my first drink in 70 hours. I really wanted to have a draft beer, but it was a bit late and I had an early morning the next day, so I decided to have a quick drink at a food stall in Nakasu. Along Showa Street, there are three food stalls lined up, and I chose "Furai Kenbo," which has a unique see-through design. It used to be a regular food stall, but it seems to have been renovated. The interior is modern with lights on the ceiling. And... my first beer in 70 hours! This bliss is indescribable. I may never experience this again in my life. For food, I had oden - one piece for 150 yen, which was daikon and thick fried tofu. I also tried the recommended beef tongue for 900 yen, which was quite generous. The special sauce was delicious as well. I was tempted to have another beer, but they didn't have Izanami, which I usually drink when at a food stall. Unfortunately, as a group of customers arrived, I decided to end my visit early. I leisurely walked back home...●Shop Information:Furai Kenbo090-1979-7296Fukuoka City, Hakata-ku, Nakasu 5-6-20Business Hours: 19:00-02:00Closed on Sundays and holidays
