On the west side of Ikebukuro Station, there is a dining area with a landmark being the Ikebukuro Engei Hall just south of it. It's about a 2-3 minute walk from the aboveground entrance of the north exit. I had two beers and a hamburger, which came to a total of 3100 yen. There was also a 550 yen charge. The beer was Asahi Super Dry, served in a glass of about 250ml. The food selection included hot dogs, potatoes, and other ballpark-like items. I tried the Stadium Burger, which had a generous amount of cheese making it a bit hard to take a bite. They provided a knife and fork, but they were a bit awkward to use. The burger was tasty though. The real charm of this place, in my opinion, is not the food or drinks, but something else. There are six monitors where you can watch all games on DAZN. It's a delight for fans to enjoy beer while watching their favorite team play. It would be even better if they served the beer in paper cups like the stadium vendors do, rather than in glass cups.
