Asian curry restaurant, which is one of the top 100 in the third week, operates as a noodle specialty store. I had been to the curry restaurant before, so I decided to try the noodle shop this time. I went around 1 pm on a holiday Monday and there was a small line forming, despite the intense heat. So, I took a break at a nearby cafe to cool down and went back around 2 pm. There was no line this time, but the place was almost full. Unfortunately, many popular items were already sold out, but I managed to order the last Kaosoi Karm for 1,100 yen. It was a combination of pork bone clear soup and pig's feet. The dish featured two types of noodles: fried noodles and boiled noodles, and the soup was rich and flavorful with a mix of coconut milk and chicken broth. It was quite spicy, similar to level 5 at CoCo Ichibanya, with a generous amount of cilantro. The pig's feet were finely chopped and added a chewy texture, while the vegetables added a crunchy element. Overall, it was a dish that may not be for everyone, especially on a hot summer day, but I personally enjoyed it. It was delicious.

I came here because the restaurant I wanted to go to had already finished lunch service. It was almost full even though it was before 2pm. I sat at the table furthest back. I ordered Khao Soi with beef tendon, and my husband ordered a large serving of Yam Soba. Later, I also decided to try the Khao Man Gai after seeing others ordering it. When I used to live here, I had never tried Khao Soi, but it was really delicious. The noodles were chewy, the beef tendon was tender, and the curry cooked in coconut milk was spicy and flavorful. I couldn't stop my runny nose. It had been a long time since I had Khao Man Gai, but it was also delicious. You should definitely try the Khao Man Gai too! I'm full, thank you for the meal! ✩⃛( ͒ •·̫• ͒) ===========

Representing Northern Thai cuisine, "Khao Soi" is a Thai-style curry ramen where noodles are combined with a coconut milk-based soup filled with curry spices. The restaurant "Asian kitchen cafe Hyakufuku" has been selected as one of the top 100 Asian and ethnic restaurants and promotes Khao Soi by operating as a special shop called "Menya Hyakufuku" for one week every third week of the month! Located about a 5-minute walk from Exit 6 of Kujō Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line, in the middle of "Matsumishinchi," a somewhat unique area, so female customers should take note. The distinctive woody exterior wall near the entrance of the shop is a notable feature. The interior of the shop features not only table seats but also small counter seats, creating a homely atmosphere with an Asian touch. [Menya Hyakufuku Menu] - Khao Soi Gai (Chicken) 1,000 yen - Khao Soi Nua (Tajima beef tendon) 1,300 yen - Khao Soi Pe (Goat) 1,300 yen Noodle options for Khao Soi: 1. Wide wheat noodles (standard) 2. Fresh Thai rice noodles - Khao Man Gai (Full size) 850 yen - Mini Khao Man Gai 380 yen [Toppings] - Extra noodles +150 yen - Soft-boiled egg +100 yen - Extra cilantro +100 yen - Khao Soi soup +280 yen - Rice (Mini) +150 yen - Rice (Regular) +200 yen - Powdered cheese +200 yen The Khao Soi Gai (Chicken) is a breathtakingly beautiful Asian-style meal that will make you feel like you're on a trip to Thailand! The soup, rich in coconut milk, spices, and herbs, exudes an ethnic feel with its mellow sweetness and concentrated chicken broth flavor. The Wing noodles used in the dish have a good lift in the soup, with a chewy texture and a pleasant mouthfeel. Additionally, crispy fried noodles on top provide a contrast in texture with the Wing noodles, creating an addictive eating experience. Finally, diving into the remaining soup with rice and powdered cheese to create a porridge-like dish leaves you feeling deeply satisfied. - Mini Khao Man Gai 380 yen A perfectly sized dish in a teacup. The moist and juicy chicken, flavorful rice soaked in chicken broth, and the sweet and savory sauce make for a "happy" dining experience. The Khao Soi and Khao Man Gai at Menya Hyakufuku have a mild flavor, making them very accessible even for those who are not fond of Thai cuisine. Why not embark on a passport-free Asian journey at "Menya Hyakufuku" or "Asian kitchen cafe Hyakufuku"? Please note that "Menya Hyakufuku" is only open for one week every third week of the month! Thank you for the delicious meal! \(^o^)/

I tried Nasi Lemak for the first time. Coconut-infused rice was delicious on its own. The stir-fried peanuts were also tasty, could eat them forever. Mixing it with the tuna stew and sambal made it even more delicious. I devoured it with gusto. I love Bai Fook. Bai Fook never fails to impress me every time.

Asian Kitchen Cafe Hyakufuku, which has been selected as one of the top 100 Asian ethnic restaurants, is offering a special menu for the third week. This time, I ordered the Khao Soi Gai (chicken), which is a harmonious blend of curry soup and coconut milk. It's delicious to dip the fried noodles in the soup or eat them as they are. There are also flat noodles included, which I also enjoyed. I squeezed some lime halfway through for a refreshing flavor change and finished it all in one go. The chicken wings were also well cooked and tasty. Next time, I might try the beef tendon.

Today, I had some business in the Minato area and came to "Menya Hyakufuku" here! It's right in the middle of Matsushima Shinchi, so it might be awkward for girls to come here! I ordered the Darubato Special with extra spicy and extra large portions! The curry was colorful, delicious, and I thought it was of a very high quality! I will definitely come back again! Highly recommended!!

Kaosoi Nu is simply delicious. The beef is tender and melts in your mouth. The noodles are chewy and crispy. The soup is a mix of coconut and spicy curry flavors. I love pouring the soup over jasmine rice and squeezing lime on top. It's so good that I'm willing to wait in line to eat it.

Today, before getting my nails done, let's have lunch! I was in the mood for curry, so I went to Hyakufuku. Today was the day for "Menya Hyakufuku". Let's just go in and see. I wonder what "Khao Soi" is like? I bravely ordered the "Khao Soi Beef Tendon" with a soft-boiled egg on top. Let's quickly look up what it is after ordering... haha. It seems to be a noodle dish from Thailand. The colorful dishes look nice. First, I took a sip of the soup... Not spicy... that's good. The gentle and creamy coconut milk curry soup is delicious. The noodles are square and chewy thick noodles. Fried noodles are also included as a topping. The beef tendons are soft and tender, simmered until they melt... Collagen charge! I added condiments and squeezed lime halfway through for a change in taste. It was more delicious than I imagined... very satisfied. I wanted to try putting rice in the soup too. Thank you for the meal.

I went to see an Indian movie at Cine Nouveau in Osaka Kujo and then went to Hyakufuku. I went during lunch hours, but that day, it was "Menya Hyakufuku" operating instead of "Asian Kitchen Cafe Hyakufuku". They operate in the store of "Asian Kitchen Cafe Hyakufuku" for one week every third week of the month through self-rental. The menu for that day consisted of 3 items: "Khao Soi" for 1000 yen, "Rat Na" for 880 yen, and "Kaomangai" for 850 yen. It's a mystery why the menu doesn't say "Khao Mangai" but instead says "Kaomangai". On the back of the menu, there is a list of toppings where you can add extras like more coriander for 100 yen or a mini Khao Soi soup for 280 yen with the "Kaomangai". Since it's a self-rental, there is also the owner chef of "Asian Kitchen Cafe Hyakufuku", so some customers may not even notice that the menu is different from usual. From what I found online, it seems that the wife mainly manages "Asian Kitchen Cafe Hyakufuku" while the husband mainly manages "Menya Hyakufuku". I don't understand the reason for running them separately. The interior of the store is set up to resemble "Asian Kitchen Cafe Hyakufuku", giving off a clean and cozy vibe reminiscent of a Thai diner. I ordered and didn't have to wait long before they brought the "Kaomangai". It was served on a slightly larger plate, and the Khao Mangai was seasoned with Thai rice, tasting just like the authentic flavor. The amount of rice seemed larger compared to other places. The chicken portion was similar to other places, but the pieces were cut slightly finer. I felt like the coriander was a bit lacking. If you feel like there's not enough coriander based on the photo on the menu, adding extra for 100 yen might be a good idea. When paying, the wife of the owner chef of "Asian Kitchen Cafe Hyakufuku" said, "It's ○○ yen." This kind of exchange is common in the downtown area of Osaka, so don't be surprised. It's located right in the middle of the Matsushima Shinchi in the downtown area of Osaka, so it's a bit difficult for women to reach because you have to pass through the district with the entertainment establishments, but the taste was like eating Khao Mangai in Thailand. I visited during the daytime, and although it's in the heart of the entertainment district, there were female customers before and after me, so I don't think the area is as dangerous as one might think. During the daytime, there aren't many men loitering around the entertainment district, and there are many security cameras, so I feel like it's safe.

Ramen restaurant Hyakufuku in Nishi-Temmabashi, Osaka. Their Khao Soi (1000 yen) is top-notch. They took over the space from Soup Curry Nanba and will be closing on March 31st. The Khao Soi here is authentic and delicious. The smooth noodles and crispy fried noodles are a perfect combination. The lime adds a great flavor. I will definitely be visiting their location in Kujo as well!

"Oh, this is a new item?" That's what I exclaimed out loud when I tried the Green Curry Noodles from a restaurant booth at a curry event held at Hankyu Department Store in Umeda the other day. The curry event at Hankyu Department Store featured many popular curry shops last year and garnered a lot of attention. One of the shops that participated in the previous event, "Asian kitchen cafe 百福," made a comeback this year as "Menya Hyakufuku," a specialty shop for ethnic noodles that operates every third week of the month. Having tried the curry from "Asian kitchen cafe 百福" at the previous event and being impressed, I was eager to try this new concept and visited their booth. The shop offered authentic noodle dishes that the owner learned from living with local people in Nepal, Thailand, Bangladesh, and other countries. While I was initially tempted by the Khao Soi with fried noodles toppings (chicken and Tajima beef tendon), I was more intrigued by the "Gaeng Kiaw Meun (Shellfish Green Curry Pho)" which seemed unique and not commonly seen elsewhere. The Khao Soi was a popular menu item that the shop had been offering for a while, but the Gaeng Kiaw Meun was a new addition. In Thai, Gaeng means "soup," Kiaw (or Kiao) means "green," and Meun means "sweet," so it translates to "sweet green soup." It had a noticeable sweetness but was more characterized by the spiciness of the green curry, reminiscent of the authentic flavors from the region. While some cafes in Japan may offer milder versions of green curry to suit Japanese tastes, this dish was more authentic and might be too spicy for those accustomed to the milder versions. However, for those in the Osaka area looking to experience authentic ethnic noodles, this dish would be a good choice. Given that they operate only during the third week of each month, it may be challenging for some to visit the shop regularly. I hope this article can be helpful to those interested in trying out authentic ethnic noodles in the Osaka area.
