When I went to Shimoda last time, I found a stylish cafe in front of the newly renovated Shimoda Station, which didn't seem to fit in Shimoda! I stopped by Black Cat Cafe on my way home from work. It was 7:35 pm, and I didn't know the cafe closed at 8 pm, so I quickly ordered the quiche set that caught my eye on the menu. The quiches were delicious, and the soup and salad were also good. I wished I had come earlier and had more time to enjoy it. The cafe staff told me it's okay to relax, but I left the cafe at 8 pm.

The cocoa cheesecake costs 539 yen and is made with Valrhona chocolate from Venezuela and roasted cocoa, giving it a bitter taste. It is served with vanilla ice cream.
