Near JR Teradacho Station, there is a Chinese restaurant with relatively good customer service. They have free Wi-Fi. I ordered the B lunch set for 850 yen, which included a light soy sauce ramen and a mini spinach fried rice. The ramen had a surprisingly refined taste, and the fried rice was perfectly fluffy and delicious.

After exiting the north exit of Teradacho Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line and walking east on Route 25 for about 5 minutes, you will find Osaka Osho located a little way into a side street before the Genkabashi Nishi intersection. Despite feeling a bit tired from the sudden intense summer heat, with my stomach feeling a bit off and my appetite decreasing, I knew I needed to eat something to avoid feeling weak. That's when I remembered the "Gomoku Men" here and rode my bicycle over. The interior of the restaurant has a takeout counter near the entrance and a long counter facing the kitchen with about 10 seats, as well as around 20 table seats on the right side, making it relatively small for an Osaka Osho. I ordered the "Gomoku Men" (770 yen) without much wait. It arrived in a bowl shaped like Mount Fuji in reverse, filled with clear soup, topped with vegetables like Chinese cabbage and onions, as well as pork and seafood on the noodles. I first tried the soup... it had a mild saltiness with a natural umami flavor that seeped into my weakened stomach. The salt content was also low, with a gentle and elegant taste that could rival high-end restaurants. The seafood ingredients were clams and scallops. It seems they have changed from shrimp, squid, and scallops in the past. Perhaps they changed it because clams provide a good broth. The vegetables included crunchy Chinese cabbage, carrots, onions, and young corn that added a different texture. The noodles were slightly thinner straight noodles with a slightly starchy smell typical of Chinese restaurants. They were a bit soft this time, but that's probably normal since this isn't a ramen specialty shop. Nevertheless, the mild soup was still the best part. It went down smoothly even when I had no appetite. I couldn't stop eating it.

An old man had lunch at Osaka Ohsho. The shop was located in Teramachi, and if you live in Kansai, you probably know it. There are two major chains, Kyoto Ohsho and Osaka Ohsho. They may have started as one, but branched out through franchising. Both have a similar atmosphere and are popular Chinese chain restaurants. However, each shop may have slight menu variations. The main dish for lunch was a set meal for 800 yen, with various side dishes including sweet and sour pork. The variety of dishes kept it interesting without getting boring. Chinese cuisine tends to be flavorful, so it's nice to have extra rice. Don't worry, they offer free extra rice. Enjoying the rich flavors of the dishes with a big bowl of rice is quite satisfying. If you have the chance, I recommend trying lunch at Osaka Ohsho!

After exiting the north exit of Teradacho Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line, walk east on National Route 25 for about 5 minutes. You will find Osaka Ohsho located in a small alley between a Family Mart and a Lawson at the intersection of Minamikawa Nishi. The interior of the restaurant has a takeout counter by the entrance, a long counter facing the kitchen with about 10 seats, and about 20 table seats on the right side. The menu at Osaka Ohsho is diverse, making it hard to choose, but this time I decided to order the Yakisoba (Taiwanese stir-fried noodles) (680 yen) and the Gyoza (245 yen). The Yakisoba arrived promptly, served on a plate with the Osaka Ohsho logo, with plenty of stir-fried Chinese noodles topped with cabbage, carrots, and pork. The noodles are thick and flat, with a chewy and smooth texture. The flavor base seems to be oyster sauce, with a mild saltiness and a taste reminiscent of authentic Chinese cuisine. The vegetables are still crunchy, bringing out their deliciousness. With plenty of ingredients, it was very satisfying. The Gyoza arrived a bit later, with a crispy texture on the outside and a juicy yet surprisingly light filling. The Gyoza was well-made, as expected from Osaka Ohsho, but what surprised me was the high quality of the Yakisoba. I was impressed and might come back for more.

The interior of the restaurant has a takeout counter next to the entrance, a long counter facing the kitchen with about 10 seats, and about 20 table seats on the right side, making it relatively small for an Osaka Ohsho branch. The menu at Osaka Ohsho is diverse and always leaves you undecided, but this time I decided to order the Gomoku Men (730 yen) and Gyoza (245 yen). The Gomoku Men was served surprisingly quickly. The ramen bowl with "Osaka Ohsho" written on it was filled with clear soup, topped with various vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, carrots, as well as pork, and seafood. First, I tried the soup... it had a subtle saltiness with a natural umami flavor that seeped into my hungry stomach. The saltiness was also mild, with a gentle taste. It's elegant and not quite typical of Osaka Ohsho. The seafood ingredients included shrimp, squid, and scallops, while the vegetables included Chinese cabbage, carrots, bamboo shoots, and mushrooms. The scallops still had their frills, and the squid was finely chopped. The noodles were slightly thin straight noodles with a slightly Chinese cuisine-like smell. They were just the right firmness and had a good bite. The ingredients were stir-fried, but the crispness of the vegetables was retained, bringing out the deliciousness of the vegetables. With plenty of ingredients, there was a sense of satisfaction. The gyoza arrived later. When dipped in the pre-prepared sauce and eaten, they had a crispy texture on the outside, and were surprisingly light and juicy on the inside. The gyoza was well-made as expected from Osaka Ohsho, but what surprised me was the high quality of the Gomoku Men. I was impressed by this. I might end up coming back for more.

I enjoyed delicious dumplings at a great deal of 50 yen per serving at a store. Even chain stores have both tasty and not-so-tasty branches. For example, the directly managed store in Minami area of Osaka Ohsho is not good (lol). However, the franchise Naniwa Food in Teradacho had delicious dishes, including tasty pan-fried dumplings.

Today is another day off (lol). I haven't been working much this month. I went to Osaka Ohsho Teradacho store. The store is located a little off from Route 25, and I've been curious about it for a while. I finally got a chance to visit. Gyoza is 240 yen for one serving!! I think it's a great value for the size and taste. I initially ordered 3 servings, and then ordered another 3 servings. Ordering all at once makes it get cold. The Tenshinhan, sweet and sour pork, and Karaage are also delicious. There are both counter and table seating options. The place was quite crowded with customers. Osaka Ohsho is always so popular!

The dumplings were cooked just right and the taste of the dishes was good. The ramen was not as good as at a specialty shop, but it was decent. The only downside was that the fried rice with spinach was not tasty (lol). Overall, I was satisfied with the prices and the experience at Osaka Ohsho Teradamachi branch during lunchtime service.

I came to Osaka Ohsho near Teradacho Station after a long time. This time I ordered the ramen set meal. It's been a few years since I last had Osaka Ohsho's gyoza. My impression of the gyoza is "Did the taste change somehow? It lacks richness or flavor, it's not very flavorful. Was it always like this?"

I love Tianjin rice, and I decided to try it at this chain restaurant. The egg sauce was a bit burnt with only green onions, and the sauce was thick with ingredients like shimeji mushrooms and shrimp on top. Personally, I prefer a fluffy and smooth egg sauce, so I was a bit disappointed with the firm texture of the egg in this dish. The sauce was also a bit too salty for my taste. Depending on personal preferences, the rating may vary, but for me, this Tianjin rice at this price point is not worth ordering again. I will probably try Tianjin rice at a different restaurant or a different branch of this chain next time.

A good and reliable King Shao restaurant. You can eat here with peace of mind. They have a wide variety of lunch and regular menu items. The gyoza set meal is good! However, the spinach fried rice didn't suit my taste personally. I found the refreshing taste of the spinach and the greasiness of the fried rice didn't really go well together.

It's hot. Really hot. But at night, it's a bit cooler. When it's this hot, I feel like I'm going to faint, so I need something to boost my energy♪ When I became a university student and started living alone in Tokyo, my mom told me to make and eat okonomiyaki when I'm in trouble because it's full of vegetables, carbs, and meat, so it's nutritious! And now, I discovered that gyoza is another complete nutritious meal with carbs, meat, and vegetables! The smell of garlic bothers me, but garlic-flavored gyoza is delicious (*^▽^*)

"Ii~i~ yudana~ ahaha~" (Song: The Drifters) After visiting the famous historical bathhouse "Genji Onsen" with my uncle, we found that all other shops were closed by 4 o'clock. So we decided to visit "Osaka Ohsho" for some beer! We ordered two bottles of Malt beer, vegetable stir-fry with garlic and chili peppers for an Italian flavor, a large portion of crab omelette, and some dumplings. All of this food and drink for just around 2000 yen for the two of us is quite amazing!"

On the first day of the Bon holiday, I visited Osaka Ohsho relatively late. I somehow prefer Osaka Ohsho over Ohsho. The smell of Chinese food clings to my body, so I wore a dress I bought at Shimamura, my current favorite store where I can easily wash it off. I feel like even Uniqlo is expensive now. The value of things is truly mysterious. Some things are reasonably priced and look decent, while others are expensive and strange. When it comes to food, there are things that make you wonder if it's worth paying so much for. But Osaka Ohsho is delicious, generous, and cost-effective. It's nice to go to a beautiful and stylish restaurant, but it requires effort in terms of hairstyle, makeup, and outfit, so I prefer to spend my days off in a more relaxed and simple way. After dealing with the stress and fatigue of work, I feel like just lounging around on my day off, just like the old men do.

I suddenly craved dumplings and decided to try Osaka Osho, a place I had never been to before. The difference between Osaka Osho and Gyoza no Osho is that the former feels more like a local Chinese restaurant, while the latter has a bit more of a Chinese influence. The restaurant is located in a slightly hidden alley off a bright street, which added to the excitement. I ordered the tantan fried rice set, fried food set, gyoza, and stir-fried beef and vegetables. The gyoza came with two types of sauce, both of which were delicious. I think they use less garlic here. The food was so delicious that I didn't have room for dessert. I will definitely be going back!

On the 2nd floor, I think there was a sign for Osaka Ohsho next to JOY FIT, almost at the same height. I don't remember the store along R25 on the 1st floor. When I peeked into the alley, I did see Osaka Ohsho there. It was after 2 am, and for some reason, I was drawn in (laughs). I saw the business hours on the counter, and they are open until 3:30 am, really working hard with late-night operations. I looked at the menu and ordered the beef set meal. I was surprised by how delicious it was! The small shrimp tempura was light and crispy. Perfect! The crispy spring rolls were also perfectly fried. I enjoyed the shumai with the table's mustard. The pickled radish was also delicious. Is it homemade? Or from a specific manufacturer? It exceeds the level of side dishes. The salad was also tasty, with sweet cabbage and dressing instead of mayo. The pickled vegetables were perfectly salted. Everything was delicious. Even the soup exceeded Osaka Ohsho's level. Of course, the main dish of beef with oyster sauce stir-fry was extremely delicious. Even with the same ingredients and recipe, the taste can vary depending on who makes it. This Osaka Ohsho was so delicious, surpassing Gyoza no Ohsho and other Osaka Ohsho locations. Thank you for the meal.
