Visited the restaurant with my family for a lunch buffet (with a one-hour time limit). We had to wait for about an hour, but it was nice that the staff came to call us when our table was ready. Honestly, I wanted to have a set meal or a rice bowl, but the buffet didn't allow for individual ordering. The sashimi was cut into small pieces, so we could try various types. There were plenty of sushi, fried dishes, simmered dishes, and side dishes, but I couldn't eat much so I got full quickly. Next time, I want to try a set meal!

Arrived at 11:15 on Sunday, but there was already a waitlist of 18 groups for the lunch buffet starting at 11:30, and the parking lot was full. Only about 8 groups managed to get in for the first seating at 11:30. It was too hot to sit outside at the tables offered. Before 11:30, you could still purchase set meals, rice bowls, and side dishes, so I decided to scout for next time. With such a variety of dishes including sashimi and sushi in a 60-minute buffet, it's understandable why there were so many people. This time, I chose to go to the affiliated seafood bowl market instead, but next time, I want to make sure to put my name on the list and get in for the first seating. *I have provided this information for sharing purposes, but please understand that I have not actually eaten there, so the rating is provisional.

I have visited this restaurant several times, and as usual, it is always crowded. The reason for this is probably because they offer lunch buffet on weekends, which includes seafood such as sashimi. However, personally, I recommend changing to the set meal with "ara-jiru" (for an additional 100 yen). The rice in the seafood bowl is just right with a good vinegar flavor, and the ingredients have a nice texture. In the set meal, there is a soup, but for an additional 100 yen, you can get a large bowl of "ara-jiru" with plenty of ingredients, which I think is a great value compared to other restaurants. The downside is that around noon, it can be difficult to find parking. The attached photo is a seafood bowl with "ara-jiru" for 748 yen (tax included).

The side dishes were all homemade and delicious. I don't usually have many opportunities to eat vegetables, so I was grateful. The handsome staff member was very thoughtful and attentive, which left a good impression. And of course, the sushi was delicious too!

The all-you-can-eat for 90 minutes was 1300 yen. The seasoning was homely and delicious.

I had been eyeing the restaurant "Senta" that offers a buffet including sashimi and sushi based on the reviews I read. They also serve alcohol, so I was planning to visit on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy a drink with plenty of appetizers. However, a colleague invited me to go on a weekday for lunch, so I decided to go for a reconnaissance mission. The restaurant has a parking lot for 6 cars in front, with space for 2 more cars squeezed in the middle. Inside, there are 24 table seats on the left and 3 terrace seats outside. The restaurant was full, but I was able to sit outside. I paid for the "Senta Lunch Buffet" which costs 1,080 yen for adults, 750 yen for elementary school students, 540 yen for children aged 4 to preschool, and 430 yen for toddlers aged 2 to 3. As I paid, a table became available inside, so I ended up dining indoors. The buffet area is on the right side of the restaurant, where you can pick up a tray and plates to serve yourself. They offer 4-5 types of sashimi and around 5 types of sushi, such as sea bream, flounder, and yellowtail. There are also around 30 side dishes and about 10 fried dishes to choose from. The prices per portion are displayed, and you can also buy dishes to take home. I particularly enjoyed the "Seared Salmon Sushi" for its smoky flavor and creamy mayonnaise. They also had "Pickled Conger Eel," which was a unique side dish and showed the restaurant's expertise in fish. However, some of the fried dishes were cold, which was a bit disappointing. The restaurant offers a variety of simple dishes, which I appreciate as someone on a business trip. The only downside is the 60-minute time limit, which is enough for lunch but a bit short if you want to leisurely enjoy drinks (laughs). Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

On Sunday, we visited this restaurant that we had been curious about. We arrived at the restaurant around 11:20 am because they had a buffet starting at 11:30 am. There were already 4 groups ahead of us waiting. Before 11:30 am, the staff started seating people in order. We paid the fee first and were handed our buffet plates. We lined up to choose from the menu items. The first section had sushi and sashimi, which were quickly emptied due to their popularity. Today's sushi was sea bream and seared salmon. There were also potato salad, stir-fried vegetables, simmered root vegetables, and a fried food section with croquettes, spring rolls, minced cutlets, and fried quail eggs. Each menu item was replenished as it ran out. The sushi and sashimi were also replenished. There were many options to enjoy, and the sashimi was fresh and delicious! However, even though it was right after opening, the fried food and side dishes were cold. It was a shame! I thought it would be better if they fried small batches periodically or introduced machines to maintain the temperature. On our way out, there were several cars waiting because the parking lot was full.

I went in because I was in the area for work in the morning. It seemed like a seafood shop, but there were seats set up in one corner, and about half of the store was filled with side dishes. Lunch buffets are offered by hotels and yakiniku restaurants, so when compared to those, it's a different story, but for 1000 yen plus tax, having all-you-can-eat side dishes felt like a good deal. The taste was decent overall. There were sashimi and sushi, but there were also over 30 types of side dishes, which I think are the main attraction. If they had warm soup and rice, it might have been even better. I left feeling full.

Lunchtime at "Sentatsu" in Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu City. The fresh seafood buffet seems to be popular as the restaurant is full of people. In addition to the buffet, they also sell take-out sushi. This time, I didn't have time to choose from the buffet, so I ordered the seafood bowl set meal for 626 yen. I paid an extra 100 yen to change the miso soup to a fish broth. The seafood in the bowl is small but fresh and delicious, including tuna, yellowtail, and shrimp. The limited fish broth is slightly sweet but full of fish flavor, warming you up from the inside out. With such quality and deliciousness, it's no wonder they can give you change from a 1,000 yen bill. I would like to visit this restaurant again when I'm nearby. Next time, I'll try the lunch buffet with all-you-can-eat sushi for 1,000 yen for 60 minutes! Thank you for the meal. ☆

I went to a restaurant that serves "freshly made" nigiri sushi, which looked like a fish market. It costs ¥1,000 per person for a 60-minute session, and payment is required in advance. The side dishes available in the buffet are not replenished, only the nigiri sushi seems to be added. The only hot dish available was simmered beef tendon with konjac, while the rest were cold, including fried foods. Maybe regular set menu options would have been better than the buffet?

On Route 281 from Soematsu to Eiinumaru, you can see "Kantake Anal Clinic" on the left hand side, and a little further down the road on the right hand side, there is a shop. There is a parking lot in front of the shop and also a special contract parking lot a little further away. All seats are table seats. Every time I passed by, the parking lot was always full, and when I went there, it was already full 10 minutes before opening. Some of the menu items include: ● 5 types of sushi ● sashimi ● tofu burger ● chikuzen-ni ● meatballs ● shrimp fry ● takoyaki ● chicken cutlet ● eggplant tempura ● karaage ● fish stew ● chicken nanban ● potato salad ● spaghetti salad ● lotus root kinpira ● panna cotta ● almond jelly ● matcha pudding, etc. I think the variety of the buffet is on the lower side, but the menu items make you want to try everything. And all the dishes have a rich flavor that I personally like. Even though they are not freshly made, they are delicious. The fact that there are many lotus root dishes that I love was also a big plus. However, there are some disappointing aspects such as a limit of 2 sweets per person, sharing tables, and the need to line up in an orderly manner to take food, making it difficult to go back for something you missed. This restaurant is recommended for those who are not bothered by the service or atmosphere. I used the buffet this time, but they also have set meals available. I look forward to going back to enjoy the delicious dishes again.

However, there are some items that are not included in the buffet, so be careful. The lunch buffet (60 minutes) costs 1000 yen and has around 40 different items. They also serve miso soup separately. While it seemed like a good deal, I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. Upon observing other customers, I noticed that most of them were ordering set meals starting from 580 yen, which might actually be a better deal. The buffet is available from 11:30 to 14:00, while other menu options are available until 17:00.

The seared salmon and squid sushi were particularly delicious. For dessert, they had sesame pudding, mango pudding, and rare cheesecake, each priced at 150 yen, so I assume those who didn't opt for the buffet could order them at that price. However, the staff seemed quite busy and at times unaware of new customers coming in, leading to some customers waiting for a while. Unfortunately, there were no additional sushi servings after they ran out, which was a bit disappointing. The atmosphere wasn't very relaxing, given the 60-minute time limit, but overall, I was satisfied with the fresh sushi they offered.
