The day after my business trip to Fukuoka, I visited Dazaifu in the morning and then returned to Fukuoka for a late lunch (the pancakes I had in Dazaifu were more like a snack, right?). Last time I tried to visit during summer vacation, the Solaria Plaza was closed (I was surprised that such a day existed!), so this time I made sure to call ahead to confirm their business hours before visiting. Even though it was past the lunch rush, there was still quite a wait. It looked narrow from the front, but there were tables in the back where I was seated. I ordered (or rather, visited to try) the smoked salmon salad that Hijirin (HTK48's Kawahira Sei) had eaten, which cost 1518 yen. It was a lunch special during summer vacation, but now it is available every day. There were a lot of female customers, and surprisingly, many were dining alone. I took out Hijirin's coaster and took a photo with the food (^_^) There was a sample (maybe a model?) outside, but the salad on the plate was huge. It's great for those on a low-carb diet. However, the amount of salmon was not as much as I had expected. As I continued eating, the large amount of salad became a bit overwhelming (I'm picky, right? ^_^), but the smooth texture of the salmon and basil sauce saved the day. When I finished writing down the list of vegetables I had observed, it turned out to be a huge amount. From the top, there was purple cabbage, paprika, a large amount of sunny lettuce. The selected olive oil with rock salt & white pepper was strong. On the side, there were cherry tomatoes, zucchini, carrot ribbons (Yuka-chan's favorite!), broccoli (a bit hard, so I put it in the onion soup), sweet potato (this one was soft), red turnip? Eggplant? (crispy), pumpkin, purple onion. The sunny lettuce seemed never-ending! I was full just from eating vegetables. The almond jelly was refreshing. The price is a bit high, but I would like to try other menu items as well.
